I own a customized MBZ Sprinter van and have tried several RV Repair/Service business in San Diego and I must say that none of them come close to the excellence and can do attitude of San Diego RV Center. Frequently once you mention custom the other stumble and mumble. Rob and the staff at SD RV simply say yes and when do you want it done. The service technicians have the skills and abilities and seem to enjoy the challenge. For me, this one stop shopping at its best. Larry L

I have a 2015 Leisure Travel unity that needed a side compartment door replaced and up at the top of the unit to clearcoat was failing. San Diego RV did an awesome job. The side compartment door had two different color paints that were matched perfectly. The top of the coach where the clear coat is fading, was repaired, Better than new. Their service is great. They kept me informed all the way along while they were doing the repairs. They even washed the coach before returning it to me. I m going to start using them for all of my coach maintenance.

We have a 2021 Fleetwood Bounder 33c. After all the recalls were completed we took it out and we were not able to dropped the levelers. We realized this was serious. We wanted to fine a repair center that we felt comfortable with. After researching and reviewing repair centers, we decided San Diego RV center. They found there was a electrical problem in the main electrical box wiring. They replaced the electrical box. We have gone rving since the problem was repaired. The levelers work great and allappliances. It was a pleasure working with the staff. Chrissy kept us inform.

I took my Tiffin Bus in with an Aqua Hot problem. I was impressed by their professionalism and the promptness of service. I Will continue to use them in the future.

San Diego RV Center is doing everything right. I bought an RV from Camping World, and purchased their let s go camping package. Camping World was supposed to do a pre-delivery inspection to catch anything wrong with the RV. On my first trip, I found a slew of issues (both safety related and basic operational checks) and had to take the RV in immediately after our first trip. I chose to stay away from Camping World since their service department clearly was not competent. Christy in customer service at San Diego RV was ready to greet me when I pulled in and did a walkthrough with me so I could explain all my concerns. She kept me informed along the way and made sure I always knew the latest updates on my service. It s rare to find customer service like this anymore and I will absolutely be a returning customer. Thanks San Diego RV Center!

Excellent service. Finally we found an efficient and reliable service shop for our Allegro Open Road. Rob Engquist and the staff at San Diego RV Ctr provided exceptional service to correct a recall and other work. I was promised a 1 day turnaround and even with the extra work, they were true to their word. Rob also took time to educate us about new products we had in our coach, so he is a great resource for the company and clients. This is much appreciated. It was a long trip from LA to SD but worth it. I highly recommend their shop.Services: Electrical, Body & Trim, Brakes, Battery

Excellent customer service!!! Everyone that we spoke with and interacted with was super friendly and helpful. We are visiting the area, from out of state, and ran into an issue with our camper. They were such a big help. I would absolutely recommend them to fellow rv folks!

Seeing how these folks have been working to help my folks with their RV was great today.Honesty goes a long way with me, so thank you for giving that to my Mom. We almost had too good of a time in the office.From my perspective everything seemed to be what you'd look for when you need work done. ... including their work with the insurance company.

Very satisfied about the work done on our trailer a/c unit. The staff is knowledgeable and very professional. The work done was neat and clean in a timely matter. No hidden fees. Thanks to all the staff.

Had a line for a hydraulic stabilizer blow out. Looked all over town. Called them up and Jose had one ordered and ready to go before I even asked him to. Didn't even have to explain my situation, he understood that even though it's only a $7 fitting - its an important fitting and part I needed. Other gentlemen in the office were also extremely professional and respectable. Don't leave many reviews but they deserve one.

These guys are the best. Professional, and friendly service. We live full time in our 40ft RV and we had some issues. They spent time to throughly check over what was wrong, and they let us stay with power hook up for 3 nights. We were having difficulty with our extended warranty people, and they sorted it promptly like pros! We trust them completely. Their finished product reins supreme, and we are quite happy with the results. It's no wonder they are San Diego's premier RV center!! We arrived as strangers, and we left as friends. Can't say that about most businesses, but we say it about them. Thank you Jose and Co. You guys are our heroes!

Best Customer service possible!!!! Excellent analysis of problems, and highest standards for solutions. While on the road in my RV I have encountered problems on two occasions and Sam and Frank have made themselves available by phone to analyze the problem and provide directions on how to repair. Both times they were concerned about our road trip and discussed what they could do to help. On this last occasion I even received a return call from Sam to ensure that I was able to make repair. Thank you Sam and Frank for the great service.

Jose is extremely professional and courteous. He explained what was needed in the detail needed for us to make decisions on how to proceed. Work was done as quickly as possible and appears to have been done correctly. If in the area and needing repairs we would certainly return to this business.

Had a bad experience at another facility, took my RV out if that one, got a recommendation from a friend for this one. Checked them out online, went in and talked to the service writer (whom I believe is also the office manager), told him about the problem with the previous service facility, and told him it was an 86 Fleetwood southwind. Made an appointment, first available was in 2 weeks. Didn't want to wait, but after problems with first facility, I wanted somebody reputable.Took the RV in in the morning, told the person at the counter said I needed to put a hold on the Pre Transfer Inspection until the smog cost was estimated, since we needed to get pricing on smog before deciding in further repairs. The person at the counter goes into the shop, comes out a bit later with another person, and they tell me they don't work on RVs older than 96, and they can't help me. No apologies. I say I told the original person (service writer/office manager, who is on the phone the whole time I'm there) that it was an 86, and had spoken with him at length about the RV. His reply is that all he can say is he's sorry, and that they don't do smog on pre 96 rv's, and recommends another facility. He's not rude, but is truly minimally apologetic about their error. This also happened immediately after I said I needed to postpone the more expensive service (the PTI). I don't know if this has anything to do with the refusal to do the service I've been waiting 2 weeks for, but it is at least an odd coincidence.So yes this place has an excellent reputation, seem to have some of the best facilities available, and are a high volume, large, well established place, but my interaction with them was pretty unsatisfactory.

These folks really work hard to be one of San Diego's best RV repair shops. They do it all: parts, body work, paint, tune ups, generators, etc.Guys like Jose bust their butt to meet and exceed client expectations.

Took our trailer here for brake check, bearing repack & appliance service. Thorough inspections by SDRV discovered multiple problems which should have been detected by another RV service facility in Chula Vista 6 months ago. SDRV showed all replaced parts, performed the work quickly and kept us informed while the fifth wheel was in the shop. They were efficient and reasonably priced and dependable. We highly recommend this shop. Schedule early-they are very busy.

We take our fifth wheel here for yearly service on wheel bearings, brakes, springs and appliances. The service and work were great although they are not inexpensive.

The job they did was good but the broke a door handle and didn't fix it of even offer to. CUSTOMER service sucks. Because of this we will not return.
