Sam is a trustworthy, friendly mechanic who I will be going back to in the future next time I have car trouble. He quickly identified the issue with my alternator generator and gave me a fair estimate for the labor. He was transparent about pricing on the OEM parts and gave me options on aftermarket solutions as well.One small thing I would have preferred is that he would call me prior to making any extra repairs to the vehicle. He also changed the serpentine belt and bearing which added a bit more to the original estimate. He said he would replace them back with the original parts if I didn't want them which was fair (I kept the new parts since they were needed). Otherwise no issues at all, and I would say this is a very minor issue since they did indeed need to be replaced.

He is nice and honest.He has great skills to repair all the problems.He offers reasonable price.I think he is the best mechanic in El Cajon.

I love coming to Sam with all my car needs. Today he managed to get me a whole brand new transmission.... for free!! He really looks out for his customers and doesn't try to cheat you. He wants the best for you and your car. He is straight up and honest. Never met someone like him. Thanks Sam!

I came here after being recommended by a friend and am very glad he did. I needed extensive work on my car and Sami was able to fix it all for a very reasonable price. They are an honest shop and take care of you like family. Very happy we found him and even though it's a longer drive, we will continue to have him service our cars.

Outstanding service from Sam's Quality Auto Care!! Always offers a competitive price and does very good and honest work. I live in Rancho Penasquitos up the 15 but always go to him whenever I need car work done. I recommend his shop to all my friends and definitely highly recommend to you. Would give more than 5 stars if I could that's how highly I think of this shop!

Amazing Experience!! Sam is the best/fastest mechanic I ve ever taken my car to. My car wouldn t start so I looked on google maps for the closest mechanic shop. I called 2 or 3 places that gave me high quotes and told me to tow it to them. Then I called Sam shop, he answered the phone. I told him my problem with the ignition not letting me start my car. I told he I was a couple streets away and he came to me and got my car started and we drove it to his shop and had it fixed in a hour! He gave me a awesome deal and I saved so much money going here! I recommend everyone to Sam s :)

I brought Sam a 1998 Volvo S70 that I had just purchased at auction. A different mechanic had noted a transmission fluid leak, but did not work on transmissions that old. Sam told me to bring it right in. I showed him the other mechanic's photo of the problem, and he immediately began talking about ways he would try to stop the leak that would save me the expense of having to disassemble the whole transmission, which I very much appreciated. By the next day, he had discovered that the trouble was coming from two leaky hoses. When the dealer said they would have to special order the hoses at over $100 each, he set about trying to find another solution, and he did - replacing the o-rings where the hoses attached. Much, much less expensive fix, and so far, totally effective. He also, without being asked, contacted the dealer about getting the code I needed to activate the stereo, for which I was grateful. A really fine experience, feeling like the mechanic is on your side. I will be recommending him to my friends.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

Did not honor quote that was given. Fianc� called to have a few things done on her car. Was given a quote for spark plugs, radiator flush, transmission fluid change and ignition coils. She took the car in and the only things that were changed were spark plugs and air filter (which didn t need to be changed since it was changed a couple months ago). When he was questioned on why the rest of the work wasn t completed he got defensive and started to be rude to my fianc�. Normally I do the minor work on my vehicles myself but have been busy with work and do not have the time. Did not appreciate this man taking advantage of my fianc� and giving her a false quote to get her in the door. Was planning on taking this shop my ford for an engine rebuild but now it looks like I ll be looking towards a more reputable/honest shop. Had you done your job correctly and honored your quote you would have received a lot more business from me. I recommend people take their business elsewhere. He won t do the work that you request and will give you an unbelievable quote to get you in the door but won t follow through.

Sami does great work. I switched from the mechanic I had been going to for years because his service is unbeatable. He has done a couple of big repairs on my car already, and my car always runs like new after! Sami is one of the friendliest people I've met since moving to California. Before moving my father always did any repairs I needed, so it was really fortunate for me that I found someone so trustworthy and kind. I've taken my car to him three times and he always does an outstanding job at a fair price.

GREAT SERVICE!! I take my Subaru Outback there anytime I need it serviced, I won't go anywhere else. Sami is the coolest dude in town and will fix your car right up! No BS and won't jip you like most mechanics.True quality service at a great price.

Sami and Henry did a buyer's inspection on a used vehicle we were considering purchasing this morning. His inspection was outstanding and caught several issues that helped us determine what we were willing to pay for the vehicle. Based on this experience, we would definitely go back to Sam's.

Sami and his team are the very best! 5 stars do not do them justice. They are professional, quickly diagnosis, and communication is brilliant! I have an older BMW and it runs like a 2018. Thanks to Sami! I have complete trust in them and know the service is always 10 stars!!! A true mechanic who knows cars inside and out! Thank God for Sami!!!!

Thought he was a great mechanic until I went to a real mechanic who showed me my problem was a $30 fix! He tried to charge me over $500. Prior to that I referred a relative and he has some knowledge of cars come to find out Sam never switched out that part he charged him for and really just "cleaned" it . DO NOT TRUST THESE REVIEWS!! SOME ARE FAKE and from his family!! THIS MECHANIC WILL HELP YOU THE 1ST TIME AND SCREW YOU OVER ONCE YOURE LOYAL. #NEVER EVER AGAIN!!

Sam takes care of your car as if it were his. Just amazing and refreshing! He will tell you, advise you on good, bad and how to save, yup he will tell you how to save on repair costs. I always take my 3 cars to him.

Sami is a first class guy and a first class mechanic. My wife's CEL came and he was able to diagnose the issue in a minute. Gave me an extremely fair repair price and most importantly saved me a lot of hassle of trying to fix the issue myself. Thanks Sami!

Could not be happier with the pre-purchase inspection we required before committing to a RAV4. Sami took care of us right away, eliminating any concern I had about possibly losing the vehicle because the dealer would not/could not take the car off the market.
