I have never had my oil changed professionally, and this was a surprisingly easy experience! I called ahead and when I arrived, Anna explained what would happen. She got my information and went to work. Samuel was also there. Anna found a leak and replaced my oil plug as a precaution, and made me aware of it. It took 30-45 minutes or so. Quality pricing - recommend!

I recently had my car serviced at Jiffy Lube. Gerard was great! He took the time to explain my options and helped me discover the different things that needed attention. He didn't pressure me into buying anything. Great job! I will definitely return.

They were super helpful with my oil change and topping off all of my fluids including my windshield wiper fluid! Efficient, and gave me a tire quote and even a coupon for next time. I really appreciate it all of their hard work today with taking care of my minivan, Princess Elsa

I only gave this place two stars because of the associate at the front desk was very nice. My issue with places like this is that they always try to upsell you, and as much as I want to assume that they are just honest people I can't help but feel like I am being lied to. After going there for a simple oil change one day, they told me that I needed a radiator flush and I had just had a radiator flush two months from the Valvoline service center. I know it's their job to offer additional services but only went there to top off my fluids. After leaving I end up spending a little over $350 and hoping to be satisfied with the service provided. One day soon after the car in front of me is windshield wiper fluid spilled onto mines I go to push my windshield wiper fluid to wipe the residue off only to find out that the fluid in the car was dry. I pull out my receipt from the armrest start to inspect the services provided. I called the center the next day and I asked them, whenever we get our fluids topped off. Is windshield wiper fluid included as well. His response was yes. He was unaware that I was a previous paying customer. I failed to mention above that I had also checked my oil and my oil was still black when it was supposed to be full synthetic and recently changed. When I spoke to the manager about these issues he says well maybe I had to services to far out. Meaning like maybe I was due for a new oil change and maybe my fluids dried out but I told him the day to my receipt and then he retracted his statements and then the next thing you know we lost service. I don't know if it was a coincidence or if it was purposely done but I am here to warn you to avoid this place at all costs. I would recommend a mom and pops store that offers the same services they tend to care a little bit more about their clientele.

Let me start by saying this: These people only care to upsell. I went in to get an oil change, and they recommended a transmission fluid flush. Wanting my car to be taken care of before my long road trip, I said yes. Little did I know this would cause my transmission to smoke and fail on me. I barely made it to this location 2 weeks later and tried to tell them that I came here for a fluid change, and you know what they did? Charged me $49.99 for a diagnostics on an issue that THEY caused, then tried to sell me the same flush again that caused the issue. I said no. They tried to blame the issue on internal problems and not take responsibility. I went to my mechanic, and they called them stupid and said they had no idea what they are doing. If transmission fluid is really dark, you don t touch it. I had to get a new car because of this and will not be getting anything but an oil change from these people from now on. Don t try to sell services to people if you don t know what you re doing.

I WANT TO BE CLEAR : it took me a while to write this review because I wanted to speak about my honest experience. However, I'd like to stress that THE MANAGER ROBERT TOOK CARES OF of IT.The short of it is that I went to get serpentine belt inspection, brake inspection, and rotor inspection. I ended up choosing to just get the brakes and rotors done. When I left, or was attempting to, my emergency battery light came on for the first time in my car. This alarmed me for obvious reasons, added to the fact that upon my arrival, another gentleman said that after his car was serviced, he got an engine light and he's never gotten that before. I explained to two different technicians my issue, they both assured me that it just coincidentally was time for me to go buy a new battery. I took this news reluctantly and headed to AutoZone which is pretty close to this location. I did not make it to the next freeway exit before my engine lights began blinking and the car instructed me that it needed to be turned off immediately.I called AAA who told me that it was my serpentine belt. I called AAA after I called the jiffy lube I just left and explained to them what was going on. The assistant manager that I spoke to held his ground saying that they did not touch my serpentine belt at all because the inspection was not on the receipt. I explained to him that this was not my error and he finally told me to bring it in. Hopefully it's understood why I didn't feel comfortable taking my car right back. I had my car towed home and paid for a mobile mechanic to come by and take a look. The mobile mechanic confirmed that it was indeed a serpentine belt issue and pulled out the serpentine belt only to find that there was one random Nick on it that he told me is not normal for wear and tear and that there might be funny business going on behind the scenes.As I'm sure you can understand, I didn't want to speak to the managers anymore, I wanted to speak to somebody on a corporate level. I was gratefully able to and they connected me back with this store once the manager came back from his holiday vacation.Robert sprung into action and got it all taken care of. He wanted a full account of what happened, assured me that he would be dealing with it, and even refunded me everything that I paid. He stressed to me that this is not how they do business and he wanted me to feel comfortable bringing my car by again being that this was my first time ever dealing with jiffy lube and this is how it went. I'm honestly still afraid to go back, but if / when I do -it will be because of Robert's amazing customer service and resolution skills, nothing else.

This place stays very busy but that s because their work is great. Gerard mentioned it ll be a few minutes because they were busy. The actual service (fuel system cleaning) was 15 or so just like he quoted. All this was done fast and with a smile! Go see Gerard and these guys at JF Lube El Cajon.

So today I had my truck in to get an oil change. I was very disappointed with the service. They came back to tell me that my front brakes were in the yellow when I had just replaced my front brakes myself less than 2 weeks ago. Makes me wonder if they even checked my brakes to begin with. Cause I didn't see any tires come off my truck to full inspect my brake pads. I will never recommend service to anyone for jiffy lube. Highly disappointed. I couldn't even get a printed receipt because of printer problems. Highly disappointed in their service.

Robert Rios was exceptionally professional as all the staff was. David the mechanic did an excellent job, he explained everything in detail. Dennis finalized everything and I noticed how efficient he was in making sure that everything we were promised went as quoted. There was another Robert (new hire) that answered questions for us. As we were leaving, Robert Rios checked the left front tire and he had me pull over to put air in it and afterwards the sensor light went off. My experience at Jiffy Lube was EXCELLENT!!! The team worked very well together. I will definitely refer others to the Second Street Store. Thank you Robert Rios, David, Dennis and new hire Robert for a job well done.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Oil change

I had to ask twice to get my battery checked. Second time was after they completed my oil change. But then, we found that it was close to being dead and they replaced it with a new one and the mechanic put in some missing clips for the battery housing. Now I won t be stranded!

I just called and the girl that answered said she couldn t give me a quote for an oil change because she didn t know what kind of car I had. If only there was a way to find out. It s 8:30 in the morning and already zero effort from their employees.

READ i came here a year ago for a simple oil change they offered a tire rotation and i didn t think much of it because it was a company and you d expect them to do it right. not even half a mile after i left the store my drivers side tire flies off and my car hits the floor and the whole front and drivers side is destroyed. when trying to see what the company was going to do they offered me 500$ to get it fixed and told me i d have to pay the difference if i wanted to fix anything else, what a joke of a company and i hope everyone takes this advice and don t ever get work done here.Services: Tires, Oil change

Amazing experience!!! Everyone here was very helpful and knowledgeable, also helped me save money on things I didn't need. Definitely will come back for a flush on my old oil as I don't have the facility to do myself.

They entire team was absolutely amazing. They sprayed my air filter with frebreeze so my car would smell good. They were sweet. There was another guy who personally took care of my brakes and made sure everything worked and the car was up to date on all maintenance. I would definitely go there again and recommend people. They were knowledgeable and what they didn t know they asked another team member who was an expert. This place is great! They are friendly, fast and affordable compared to the dealership I was going to. I definitely recommend! They answered all my questions prior to coming in, as I have a VW golf diesel and no one around El Cajon carried my oil type. This place does!
