Elite Auto is a reliable and promising repair shop to take your car to. John and his team specialize in Subaru's, they have many certificates to prove it, and they work on all other cars as well. They have dealer quality work but don't charge nearly as much and your car will last much longer! John is an honest mechanic, who will help you to his best ability. Also, the facility is very clean, the waiting room is comfortable, with up to date magazines and good music to listen to.I say Elite Auto Service all the way!!!!

Left my truck here to have my AC checked since it wasn't running cool and also get an estimate for a couple other minor repairs. When I came back, he gave me a $5,000+ repair estimate for things that weren't even broken when I dropped it off! Told him I'd think about it and got home to find my radiator was leaking with a new hole somewhere and the power steering and engine had also developed new leaks that weren't there before. Their place was empty with no other customers, so they must be really hard up for business! Would've given them ZERO STARS if possible and WON'T EVER GO BACK!!!

I admit I was apprehensive about taking my Subaru STI to Subaru Elite as I knew very little beyond what I could find on the web. However after speaking with John both on the phone and in person I found him both extremely knowledgeable about Subies and passionate about what he does. Had my car towed there sight unseen. Had smoke coming from under the turbo. His shop initially diagnosed it as a valve cover gasket and oil cooler leak. Additional diagnosis suggested head gasket leakage as well. Because of the mileage on the vehicle (83K) went for whole shibang (clutch, timing belt and radiator replacement because it was bad as well). To sum it up, car was pretty much rebuilt in less than a week and I was impressed with the level of care, attention to detail, and professionalism. Not a discount shop, but in my mind worth it and better than local dealerships. John seemed like a straight shooter which I value. Just got my car back so time will tell.

Beware!! These guys are nothing but parts changers. $1800 for nothing- threw their hands up and walked away leaving vacuum lines off and electrical connections unplugged. BUT STILL DEMANDED FULL PAYMENT! Check this out - they still have the balls to send me a Christmas card every year.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

General knows for their Subaru expertise, Elite is also the best place in southern California for anything related to the 1966-77 Ford "Early" Bronco.
