I had to have my car taken in to due to an accident. Randy the manager, Toni and the staff were all AMAZING people and truly care about their customers. I was very impressed with how they handled the situation and got my car back to me sooner than promised. I truly appreciate customer care like that <3

Randy Davis was super helpful. He kept us informed the entire process. He went above and beyond the usual service.When we went to pick up the car, he went over everything, and made sure we understood. Usually you just go to pick up your car, and are handed your keys and paperwork and bye.Would 10/10 recommend him and Caliber!

The level of customer care at Caliber Collision-El Cajon (especially if lucky enough to have Trevor Davidson heading up the repairs), just can t be beat!Once my car was at their facility and throughout the repair process, Trevor made sure I was brought up to date each step of the way. He answered my questions thoughtfully, made sure I understood and never rushed, and seemed genuinely happy to be helping me.He made sure to tell me what an amazing job his detail person did on the interior of my car and was excited for me to see it ~ boy was he right! No exaggeration; it looks better after leaving this shop than when I purchased it about two years ago at Car Max!!With all the complaints from people these days, I thought it would be nice to hear feedback from someone who absolutely couldn t be happier with their staff . especially the kind and helpful professionalism of Trevor. I felt kindness and personal attention while my car was in this shop!Respectfully,Jan

Not recommended! Quoted me 2 weeks for a MINOR scratch and on the supposed finish date I have to call in 3 times finally get the response that my vehicle needs extra days to complete. Absolutely no communication or heads up, you need to initiate all the calls to inquire the status.Just noticed today (3 days after I picked up my car). The damage was on the rear right bumper, when I felt and knocked on it it feels a little loose inside whereas on the left rear undamaged side it feels solid . Definitely not like the original, I m not going to list the price/cost here but it s expensive for the work in my opinion luckily I only have to pay the deductible the rest my insurance pays.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I brought my truck in for insurance body work repairs. The whole right side needed repairs so when they pushed back the initial estimated completion date, I was ok with that. After that, they kept pushing back the date for various reasons, one being that the right side mirror had gone missing. Another excuse they gave me was that they didn t have enough clear coating. Two and a half months later, I m able to finally pick up my truck. But it wouldn t start! The battery terminal connectors were all scratched up and one was missing a screw so it was loose. I brought it to my mechanic to test the batteries and maybe get the screw replace and they found a rag ON TOP OF THE TURBO! It was burned and smoking! If I drove my truck further than that, it would ve caught the whole truck on fire.Communication with the estimate adjuster, Trevor, was fine, but I will never get body work done with Caliber Collisions again.

My friend brought his car in for an estimate. It had minor damage. They took it apart but he didn't authorize that. Now they are dragging their feet and won't put it back together. Meanwhile he has to spend a lot of money on a loaner car. His insurance won't pay for the repairs. He feels like he was taken advantage of. They should have given him an estimate before taking it apart. They should have contacted his car insurance first. They are looking like the kind of people who take advantage of senior citizens.

Extremely satisfied with CALIBER Collision. From start to end I was kept well informed of how the process of fixing my car was being handled. A BIG thank you to Alfonso Oliva for always keeping me in the loop of things. My car was done almost 2 weeks prior to the estimated date I was given at the beginning. I would recommend CALIBER Collision to everyone!

I want to thank everyone that works at Caliber Collision of El Cajon! I m a returning customer and will 100% be coming back next time I need any help with my vehicle. I have never been let down by their work. Trevor, in particular, always fixes my car up to look brand new. He s kind, understanding, patient, and very attentive to detail. I appreciate that they don t try to upcharge me, as some other repair shops do, just because I m a woman. I can always trust that they will do their best work for an honest price. Randy was absolutely phenomenal! If I could, I would give them 10 stars. He was so great at keeping me updated and communicating with me throughout the entire process of my car being at Caliber Collisions. He was also so kind and empathetic as I went through the process of repairing my car. Before I left, he ensured that I was happy with the repair and told me that my satisfaction was his priority. Very disappointed with my experience here. I expected proactive communication, which I didn t get. This was a reasonable expectation in light of the fact that at this point they ve had my car for a week and a half. Just frustrating. I expected more from a collision center that was highly recommended by a friend.

There are two locations for Caliber in El Cajon and by far this team is the best one. I mean that in EVERY sense. I had a very bad experience with Caliber on Main St. A very stressful one. I brought my car to this location hoping I would get better service. Trevor made sure I did. He went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the results. Trevor kept me informed with the progress of my vehicle and I appreciate that. Trevor thank you for exceeding expectations and making sure I was happy.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

1. Manager, Matt, and Service Writer, Trevor, were not on the same page which resulted in a bait & switch situation involving my initial estimate and drop off.2. Service Writer spoke down about manager repeatedly and said don t listen to him when confronted about situation #1.3. Service Writer became threatening during situation #2 and said he would be buttoning up the car so I can take it elsewhere.4. Service writer did not adequately communicate timelines. He would repeatedly tell me to pick up tomorrow, then tell me there was a delay. This occurred for 10 days.5. Service Writer then quit communicating and responding to my texts, which was the preferred method of communication as stated by the shop. So a phone call ensued.6. Phone call in situation #5 was for an update on picking up my vehicle. Service writer states fuses are blown (something unrelated to what we brought the vehicle in for). Tells me my car is old and it was a problem when we brought it in (vehicle is maintained with service records in a family that owns an automotive shop). I ask questions, service writer starts laughing at me.7. As a result of situation #6, service writer informs me it looks like they ll have my car for longer and will be in touch whenever it s ready .8. I report situation #7 to insurance and they call the shop, twice, for an update and are hung up on or are put on hold for over 30min. This is per USAA property damage claims rep Jared Gomez.9. Manager calls me to tells me something happened to the car and every fuse is blown. They need another few days. They refuse to let me come look at it at this point.10. Manager drops off to my husband s mechanic shop with several issues involving acceleration. Technician runs a scantool and resets modules. Tech informs me that Caliber Collision jump started the vehicle backwards which resulted in fried fuses.11. Upon entry of vehicle, we notice dashcam has been ripped from a direct-mount installation. Dashcam now is broken and requires replacement.12. Per Bureau of Automotive Repar, it is against their laws to alter a customer vehicle without their consent. This includes the removal and uninstall of constant recording devices. Manager informed us via email it was shop policy. Manager could not provide any written literature or agreements I had signed stating that. Had the manager informed of us an existing shop policy in the beginning, the dashcam would ve properly been removed.Overall, we are very dissastisfied with this service and will do what we can to recommend friends and family seek another shop.

I brought in my truck for a repair and paint. The shop was great and everyone was extremely friendly. Michael made the process simple and explained everything well. He worked on my car to make sure the process was quick. He even called me on a Saturday, when the shop was closed. I was always able to speak someone when I called, including the shop manager Dale. This was a great experience. My truck looks great with the repair.

Outstanding service! If I ever find myself in need of repairs again, this is where I will be taking my car. The repairs were done in a satisfactory timely manner and I was updated during the whole process. Trevor was my main contact and walked me through the process of getting my car back to like new condition. I feel safe with the repairs and have so much trust in this shop. I would highly recommend getting your repairs done here. Great work!

Caliber Collision on N. Johnson in El Cajon was an excellent experience. The staff are professional, keep you informed of the dent repair progress on your vehicle. They were knowledgeable, polite and respectfully answered my questions. I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to this location if accident repairs are the kind of service you desire. Everyone was very helpful. They always kept me updated on the process. The bumper did not pass QC as it was slightly damaged in transit. They are ordering a new on for me.

Just a quick appreciation to Caliber Collision for the exceptional work performed on my Jeep Trailhawk. Special kudos to Alfonso who in my opinion exceeded my expectations in keeping me updated, allowing me to see the work being done mid-point (where I got to thank each tech working on my vehicle), and tracking down backordered parts getting my vehicle back before the rental car time expired. My story started with the battery dying in their parking lot upon dropping it off for repair. What are the odds. So far so good as the paint blending and put back, which included recalibration of all of the sensors, panel alignment etc. exceeded my expectations. 10/10.Services: Painting, Body & Trim
