Was there a couple days after I wrote this review, and it was all I told you about so if there was 10 stars to give out they would get them. Thanks a lot Odai.......... I haven't been there yet but from all the reviews I read not one was under five stars, I'm on my way there to meet the owner and see what he can do with my brakes. I met Odai and you gave me a very very reasonable estimate on my brakes. Thank you Odai for talking with me today, I know I'll be happy when I return for the repair. Pete......... So I gave AA a call October 17th 2023 approximately 9:30 a.m. in the morning, I talked to Odai is to make an appointment he says no just bring it on there and I got a few cars but I can get you in . I asked him if we can make an appointment, no need for that Pietro, okay I'll be there in a little bit. I arrive shop is busier than you know what, even when I arrived talking to him, I told them I could make an appointment you look pretty busy, tells me first let me look at the brakes, let me make sure nothing else is needed, and this is how a family member treats I'm telling you I was treated like family not to mention professionalism. He checks it out comes back in the office to let me know all I needed was just the pads, says everything else looks good, okay let's do it bam I was out of there within 45 minutes to an hour after that. Met his wife Zina family-owned like I said professionalism, knowledge and integrity and honesty if you're not trusting your mechanics, I can guarantee you AA Auto Repair , in El Cajon, this man and his wife treated me as if they know me for years, honesty I received, I wish I had known about AA Auto Repair 35 years ago . It's killing me thousands of dollars that came out of my pocket to shyster auto mechanics ever since I started driving 48 years. Thanks a lot Odai & Zina for putting another safe driver on the road you can believe I will continue to bring my 2018 Toyota C-HR for continued maintenance work, such as oil changes, ect.... So come to AA your One-Stop shop for all your auto repair needs ! ! !

I can not say enough great things about this company! They are truly the only place in San Diego I TRUST with my car. They are the best!Knowing little about cars, I have had many car places try to take advantage of me including multiple Honda dealerships in San Diego! At AA auto they are honest, treat customers like family and have the best prices. I ve had many different repairs big and small and routine maintenance done here over many years with different cars. All my experiences have been great and exceed expectations!Most recently, they did bodywork to repair my bumper and it looks brand new! It is amazing how well they did. I will definitely keep coming back and 100 percent recommend them to everyone! I would give AA Auto Repair 10 stars if I could. After breaking down on our way back to AZ, we were not sure where to turn. My husband found AA Auto Repair and they went above & beyond to be sure that my daughter's car was safe to drive back to Arizona. The owner communicated regularly, provided details to explain the process, and even checked to be sure that we arrived back home safety. We feel blessed to have found them!

Recently started having my Jeep serviced here after bad experiences with the dealership where I bought it. It's refreshing to deal with an honest, family mechanic again! I'm presented with options, and they don't pressure me toward the most expensive repairs just to get the money. If you want expertise and honest guidance on how to best care for your vehicle, this is the place.

So glad I found this shop! Oda is a quality mechanic and quality businessman. Very professional, informative and knowledgeable, and has under promised and over delivered every time I've been in his shop.It's hard to find a mechanic to trust, but I found mine.

Oday and his wife and employees are amazing. They always go above and beyond. A great family owned repair shop. This is one of the few places you can trust that they won t overcharge you and do great work. I highly recommend this repair shop. Ask for Oday and you ll see what I mean after you meet him. Odai has been servicing our company trucks for many years. This time I had to bring my personal car in. He was able to get to it quickly and very informative through the whole process. I now see why my boss goes to AA Auto. Thanks again Odai!!!

The entire family running this place were incredibly helpful. They not only got me on the schedule quickly but also took the time to look into the multitude of issues my car was having in addition to routine maintenance and a smog check- all at beyond fair pricing.They went beyond my expectations of what I hoped to resolve with this appointment and were able to shed light on a problem with my car that the dealership failed to diagnose multiple times.I'm incredibly happy to have found this place and intend to be a return customer as long as I'm in East County.

I ll keep this short and simple. I ve been bringing my vehicles here, to Odai more specific since early 2000. It started with a vehicle inspection, great honest service and prices. Since then he s worked on many of my vehicles over the time from transmission repairs or replacements, to AC repairs and other simple repairs. If it s not an emergency or out of town repair, he is the only one I trust. He s a straight shooter! There's a reason why I keep going back to these guys. Not only great work, but very trusting and very well priced. Not to mention they tell you what you don't need to get done that can be costly. They have been in the business for a long time and get only better.You guys absolutely don't need to do anything to get better, u are always honest with me about my cars. I've had a Jeep fully inspected, a Nissan Maxima, a Honda Accord, about 2 trucks, everything has been not only fixed the first time the right way, but for a reasonable cost. I just wanted to say thank you and spread the word about your good work.

Family run shop. Awesome people and good vibes. I called them an hour and 15 minutes before close and they took me in and installed my exhaust at a great price. Took them 20 minutes. Couldn t be happier I m coming back here for my maintenance and car part installs. Five stars hands down.

I ve been coming to AA Auto Repair for the past 15 years, and 4 vehicles. Every time I come in Odai is super helpful and professional. I am very mechanically inclined and do a lot of my own work. The things I can t do, I bring in to Odai. He s always been helpful, he tells me things to check for when I m having problems and is usually right. He is a trustworthy automotive technician. Now I ve always been super skeptical about mechanics but was so relieved after my experience todayVery professional and friendly and my repair was done quickly and I felt it took priority. Diagnostic was free he even checked my check engine light for free as well. Let me use the Wi-Fi password and his phone charger while I waited as well. Price was totally great and fair, I don t think I ve ever had this kind of experience at Mechanic before. Would recommend to anyone. Definitely will be my go to in the future!

This is the most honest, professional, and highly knowledgeable place to bring your car for repairs! They don t overcharge or do stuff that doesn t need to be done. Always go the extra mile to satisfy! Ever time our cars need work we travel the distance to come here! Can t recommend it enough! Just had my front brakes done. It is a blessing to have a great car repair place!! They are a family business and treat customers like family!

Literally the only auto shop I will take my car to anymore. The staff is knowledgeable and fair. There is no dishonesty at this shop. Its family owned and they do go out of there way to make the customers happy and comfortable in those sometimes stressful automotive times. They were happy to give me options on prices and explained in full what was causing the issues and the solutions. This is the shop to trust.

I brought my mustang in to have subframe connectors welded in. . His quote on the phone was very reasonable and price did not change after work was performed.. he had me inspect his work while car was on the lift to make sure I was happy. Looked great and work was performed the same day I brought it in.. I will be returning

Unbelievable service from great people. Brought a used car here from a local dealership to have it checked out by a 3rd party mechanic prior to purchasing and Odai and his crew couldn t have been more helpful. He looked up the carfax on my vehicle (dealer told me they didn t have carfax account), checked over the car FOR FREE, and gave me solid honest advice on the condition of the car and tires. I don t live in the area and I would drive the 30 mins back here to have my car serviced in the future.

Man...Odai and Zina deserve 10 stars, people! This little family owned business went above and beyond for me...twice in one day! I went there for a standard inspection on a vehicle I was considering to purchase. I left happy with the service - friendly, fast, fair and Odai walked me through everything on the car he found in detail, so I understood. He even helped me Kelly Blue Book the vehicle so I knew what to offer the seller for negotiating power. About an hour later, I ended up having car trouble with my current vehicle and couldn t get it to start and was stranded at a gas station. I called Odai and he actually drove out to where I was and helped me get the vehicle started and back to the shop. Two car jobs in one day - consider me a customer and a friend for life! BEST PLACE TO GO TO HANDS DOWN! Amazing service, great people, high quality work and ALWAYS going that extra mile. You can call for ANYTHING, and they will look at it and fix it. When I call they tell me to come down right then! They make you feel like FAMILY. They fix the small things and send you on your way and give you great deals on the mechanical work. I will never go anywhere else! Words can t really explain. You need to go see for yourself! :)

I rarely do reviews on shops, product, or anything in general, but I feel it's important nowadays for people to know which is good or bad out there. Two or three years ago when I first visited the shop to replace Camry 2001 engine. The car is still running till this day. I always oil changed my other Camry 2003 with them and recently had them diagnose Lexus mechanically. Good and knowledgable staff. It is the place where you feel your car problems going to get fixed and not break on you the following week.

Yesterday my car broke down in El Cajon, the problem is my usual mechanic is not in the area where the car broke down which means I had to find someone very close to repair the car. A short distance away I found a auto repair shop (AA Auto Repair) and stopped in. After telling them the problem they sent a mechanic over to where my car was to see if he could get the car started, 15 minutes later they had my car running but said it would need a new starter. I was fully prepared to pay the man for his time when he said NO CHARGE! I thought to myself, anyone willing to help some one like that and not ask for payment must be honest and have character. At that time I could have taken the car to my normal mechanic but decided AA auto repair deserved my business after being so gracious. Long story short, they gave me a fair price, did the work and I was on my way. I highly recommend this this company, character matters to me, they could have taken advantage of my situation but choose to be help me, expecting nothing in return.

I started with a bad day and was greeted with kindness. I pick up a screw in my tire and could here it click. When I got home found the issue and googled tire repair and found these wonderful people that had been working all day. They took care of the tire listen to my story and said have a better day. No chargeCome back when you need us again, we are a family owned business. I certainly will and will spread the word. Thanks!!!

I had to drive out to Arizona because my father passed away and on the way back, the exhaust pipe broke where it connects to the front of the muffler. I brought the truck in and they had it fixed in less than a half hour and the cost was very reasonable. Kudos to AA Auto Repair. If I have any issues with my truck that I cannot fix myself, I will be bringing it in to them to repair.

AA Auto takes a lot of pride in their work and they're extremely established in the area. They gave a very fair price and did the work quickly - what more can you ask for in a local mechanic?! Highly recommend their services
