I have been coming to this 4WP for over 3 years now. They do excellent work and really go the extra mile to make sure the work is done right the first time and they stand by everything they do. I recently had an accident and they were awesome helping me through the whole process including making estimates for my insurance company and finding all the parts needed to get me back and with an even better rig than before even though it showed up with 3 wheels and with the UAW parts strike going on. I would like to specifically thank Taylor for his excellent work and coordination with the repair and modifications. Sean for his superior technical skill and managing the upgrades and repairs perfectly and on time. And David for making sure I had everything I needed. It s tough to find an honest shop out there but time and time again the team at 4WP El Cajon shows me they are one. 100% worth every penny I spent there. They take great care of me and my rig. Customer for life here. Taylor is my guy at the front desk but all the reps Micah etc do a great job.

I bought a new to me truck and wanted to change up the ascetics of it a bit. Taylor helped me find wheels that were within my budget and fit the truck nicely. He had the service team do a shake down of the suspension and they found some issues. He was willing to give me multiple options for repairs and upgrades. And have the parts next day. The service guys knocked it out and my truck is now safe, driving great and looking good going down the road! Huge thanks to Taylor and the guys in the back!! Very happy customer here!

The 4WP team in El Cajon were awesome to deal with when figuring out a lift and tires package for my 2019 GMC Sierra AT4. They made solid recommendations to maintain a low budget build. I'm and out in a day when the parts arrived (less than a week later). Highly recommend them guys!

Can t say enough about Micah Mcclellan for helping me out with my JK build. The knowledge and professional expertise that he had with me while going through the process was and still is one of the best vehicle experiences I have had. Partially makes the 10s of thousands of dollars I spent on it so far pleasure full. Will definitely be staying with him and 4wp for my truck and jeep needs.

I recently had a fantastic experience with Four Wheel Parts, and I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the exceptional service I received from Micah. His level of customer service went above and beyond my expectations. Micah patiently answered all my questions, took the time to explain every detail, and ensured I felt confident in my purchase. What stood out most was his genuine kindness and willingness to assist. Micah didn't rush the process; instead, he took the time to make sure I had a clear understanding of everything. To top it off, he even helped me carry the purchased item to my Jeep, showcasing a level of dedication rarely seen in customer service.Micah has the gold standard for customer service, and his professionalism has left a lasting impression. I highly recommend Four Wheel Parts, and if you have the opportunity, seek assistance from Micah for a top-notch experience.

4 Wheel Parts in El Cajon, California was awesome. The Sale Reps and maint. techs. were very knowledgeable and explained in detail what I needed to get done to my Jeep Gladiator. I had a Dynatrac Pro rock front axle put in and a re-gear on the rear axle along with a driveshaft. I am very happy with the work they performed. I would recommend them to anyone.

They guys look the part, but we're very little help when I showed them the tie rod end that I wanted to replace it on my lifted truck. Their customer service seemed like they had better things to do then help me and told me to go to Orielys. The funny part is that it just came from there and Orielys sent me to them. I found an Off Road warehouse store near by and they were able to help and identify that some parts like the the tie rods are customized to the lift and they gave me a quote to replace them. It took 5 min at OffRoad warehouse to get me lined out, and this item that is supposedly they guys cup of tea to install and provide service was stumped.. the service tech I had at this store was a bit arrogant and I walked away knowing this was not the store for me.. But the service, knowledge, and large amount of 4 wheel in stock options of accessories I happened upon at the Off-road warehouse was awesome!! I definitely will be shopping and getting all my future toys and services there.. I am not a die-hard off-roader, so I dont break down alot, but this 4 wheel parts store left me with no answers, and the service guy I happened to get was a bit of a "I know alot more than you" sort of douche.. I now know if I want solid knowledgeable help, you now know my vote Off raod warehouse. This store did not rise to the simple challenge of helping fing a replacement for an outer tie rod for a 6" Rough County lift kit. I hope you have better luck here than I did. If you decide to stop in and chance having the same experience.. Good luck, and God Bless

My name is Frank D anna I am the owner of Italia Pizza in El Cajon I have known Micah the manager at four wheel parts for many years as I went in there looking for parts for another mechanic to work on my truck he had told me that he would give me an incredible deal I got quoted for a low figure on what I needed done. Obviously, it was too good to be true! as it took me a more than a month later to call back to see if the parts were in Front $421 the price went up to $1600 when they had no clue and forgot about me after I put a deposit down, my experience there felt that this place is very unprofessional and scandalous be aware for your pocket!!!as I would never recommend any of my friends to go there. It is very scandalous on how they operate!!! they quote you one price and all the sudden it triples be aware as they blame the Internet for their problems. I have never wrote a review for any anybody before I am very upset on how I was treated and how they manipulated me for more money, all I gotta say is be aware when you walk in there!

I would not recommend 4WP for complex electrical work. I purchased a dual battery winch kit directly from REDARC, and since 4WP was listed as an authorized installer, it seemed like the obvious choice. I came in with zero knowledge of how these systems work and why I preferred professionals to handle it. However, that decision turned out to be an expensive lesson.I had to source some parts and battery wire for them, which was not ideal, but I didn t mind too much. My bumper wasn t going to be ready for months, so the wiring was going to be done without the winch, intending to hook up the winch later. A day after picking up the truck, I noticed that the secondary battery didn t have a ground. I thought this was a major oversight, so I had an audio shop add one. It might have been something I could have done myself, but I wanted to be absolutely sure it was missing and get a second opinion. One glance and they agreed there was no ground on the secondary battery. I thought my expensive lesson ended there, but months later when my bumper was ready and I purchased my winch, more issues arose. When it came time to install the winch, I was very confused about the wiring because it didn t match the wiring diagram that came with the kit. After weeks of emails and calls with Adam at REDARC, it turns out the wiring wasn t done correctly. Let me be clear: it wasn t that something wasn t working or that something was going to fail down the road; it was wrong in how the kit was intended to be wired. Essentially, it was wired like a typical dual battery system, which functions, but means I have unnecessary components. For example, the kit comes with a BCDC and an isolator. The kit calls for the isolator to be wired in a way that bridges the two batteries for higher draw when winching. However, the isolator is wired in a typical manner to prevent my starter from dying, which is great, but the BCDC is also performing the same function. This renders the isolator useless; if I had gone that route, I could have saved $300. Same situation with the relay. It is meant to bridge the two batteries using the relay and isolator, but instead, the relay is used as an ignition source. Again, not incorrect, but not what the kit calls for, but another $100 not needed. As time passed, I discovered a couple of other issues, such as the brown wire from the BCDC not being fused. This was odd because among the extras they returned to me were a bunch of 40A fuses and holders. REDARC informed me that the only option to fix this is to rip it all out and start over. Alternatively, I could change a couple of wires and run a new button from the isolator all the way to my dash as a backup. However, this seems unnecessary given that my batteries are unlikely to drain with the BCDC managing them. The work itself was mostly well done: most crimps are properly done and shrink-wrapped, cables are neat and secured, etc. But then there's the amp monitor cable they cut (which had pins on the ends), and instead of repinning it, they just shoved the bare wire through the connector. Obviously, this didn t last long, and the wires wiggled out. I could not source pins this small, so I ended up buying another amp monitor.I did call them and explained my issues, with the intention to bring it in, but I didn t see the point. I didn t feel confident enough to let them work on it more, and I wasn t seeking a refund. If you need complicated wiring involving REDARC products, I suggest going to a place that specializes in that kind of work, like Basil s Garage. At the end, I still don't have a dual winch kit, I just have a dual battery system with extra components. On the plus side, I am now very familiar with how this system works, or was supposed to work, and with electrical components in general.

Micah and Alex were great and helped me instantly in fixing my Jeep's rockslide. I walked in without an appointment and during their busy schedule they took out a minute to take a look at it and fixed issue without any appointment and resolved it.I have been to this place in the past before and enjoy getting my Jeep's services.Annie

4wheel part is the answer for all your problems! I had stabilization issues for month with my jeep and finally after many different shops I took it to 4wheelpart with Micah and he answered all my questions and a week later my car is back on the road like new. Micah helped me with every little problem I had with the jeep. Definitely the only shop I ll be taking my jeep to from now on.

From the day that I called and inquired about getting my 2012 Ram serviced, I knew I was in good hands, and the team has been great, and worked really fast. Micah from the beginning has been absolutely amazing, he worked with me to fit my budget and to get my truck safely back on the road, I will definitely be bringing my truck back here to get serviced by Micah and the team.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICEI ordered some KCs (355) as worklights for under the Hood of my 4runner. My initial plan upon arriving at 4WP El Cajon to pick them up was to use the stock plastic attach points that secure the padding (aka no drill ). Micah (thank you bro) suggested some neodymium magnets (great price) that are made for the KCs and are strong enough to use for rock light applications. Long story short, thanks to the recommendation, my under hood utility worklights can now be moved to any location under the hood for ultimate functionality. The plastic retainers will now be the anchor points for retractable wiring spools that feed the moveable lights. Thanks again,Jason

Alex is truly awesome. He always greets me with a smile and has a wonderful demeanor. He helped me with my lift and picking out the wheels and rims. I have gotten so many compliments on how cool it looks....which, of coarse, is very important to us girls.I've referred many people to 4wheel parts Santee and have told them to ask for Alex. He is my go to guy for all things jeep. Alex is a true asset to the company.TCCLOS

Micah is the man! Very satisfied with the service here. I called to ask some questions about some mods that i was wanting to do to my Outback (lift, wheels, tires). I went in and got a quote right at my budget for exactly what I wanted after going over a variety of options. He told me the goal would be to have it done in three days. Put the items on order and updated me several times a day on their tracking, pulled some strings to get wheels in on time, successfully. Got my Car on time for the weekend! Anybody looking to get work done on their Subaru Outbacks, hit up Micah! Thanks!

I'm about 2 months late on this review, so I apologize for forgetting the names of the guys at the front counter.I had bought my truck from a local Ford dealer and had them install a 6" RC Vertex Coilover kit. It just never seemed right compared to my last F-150 with a similar kit. After getting increasing noise from the rear over any little bump, I asked if 4Wheel would give it a look over.It was initially a drop off appointment, but I had some scheduling changes that had me needing to wait on the truck to get serviced. After going out to assess the truck and try to pinpoint the excess noise, one of the gentlemen took it for a test drive before throwing on the lift. After about 30+ minutes, they came back and told me that overall everything was pretty good, but the u-bolts for the rear leaf springs were loose. They made sure everything was snug to spec before sending me on my way.For something seemingly so simple, the truck noticeably rides better!! At first, I thought it was just in my head, but even my wife made a similar comment on our road trip the following weekend.I appreciate their helpfulness and willingness to work with my schedule change that day. They will definitely see more business from me.
