We chose this resort for our maiden voyage of our new travel trailer to identify and work out any kinks (we are brand new to RVing though have camped a fair bit) We had a great relaxing time. The staff, from the first phone call to book to checking in, to the friendly and helpful neighbors made the trip fun. Our 2 high drive Border Collies loved the dog park and it was great they could get some good exercise a couple of times a day which makes our lives easier! Was disappointed to see some guests do not pick up after their dogs in the park but the grounds keeper was doing an amazing job of keeping everything clean and smelling good. Kudos to the whole staff. It would have been good to know that the restaurant/saloon was not in operation. The website made it appear it was.

Wow!!!! Great job to the management!!!! Darcy, Laura, and Vicki killed it tonight with the get together!!! 60 pounds of pulled pork sliders from Pirates Den, and amazing side dishes from the 80+ campers who attended. Although I m not the biggest Bingo player, since I m under 97 years of age, Laura and Vicki made it an absolute BLAST! Great job by all!!

My wife and I went there Monday and were blown away with how clean the place was. We then decided to book a stay and met the incredibly nice lady at the reservation office. She definitely loved her job and it showed. Sorry I didn't get her name. This will be our go to place. Thanks.

We stayed 2 months, December and January. So many unsatisfying issue. First month we had a riverside space and it was nice. Second month, we were moved to the second row. Most days we were unable to sit outside or open any doors or windows due to the sewer smell. When it rained the ground turns to mush and if you try to walk in it you sink 4-6 inches and shoes covered in mud! I would not accept any spaces between 90-96. Also if you are in row 2 dont plan on actually seeing the river past the large class A RV'S with there corresponding tents and pull trailers. Staff was helpful. Outlaw saloon is only opened two days a week. Pizza was OK. No music. Laundry was clean but only 2 washers and dryers in each building so plan to get up early to get in line. Nice dog park. Would not stay here again.

It's a nice older RV park. Some aspects of the Park are different. It has four circles that RVs can be parked in that give more room. The restaurant serves a good pizza. I removed two stars because the week we stayed there which was Thanksgiving 2023. There were racing boats on the water all week. They would start at about 7:00 a.m. and run as late as 11:00 p.m. it was so loud it was like being on the starting line of a drag strip. I got headaches from the noise. And it stressed my dogs out to the max. We ended up leaving a day early because of the constant noise. The next problem was after a few days the park let some ancient trailer move in next to us. Every time it's furnace would come on it would sound like a whistling tea kettle next to your head every night. My advice would be check as best you can to see if there are going to be racing boats on the water. Unless you're going there with a racing boat then you won't care.

We have stayed here in the past and loved the park. Dog run is awesome, and for the most part, people do pick up after their own pets. You get charged a resort & pet fee, but the upkeep has a lack luster of a resort. Examples 1- dog run pooh container not emptied for like a month. 2- rv pads not cleaned prior to new patrons coming in. The camp host is experiencing some health issues, perhaps they should consider hiring an added helper for him to assist in the resort needs of the camp until he is able to keep up with the daily routines of the park. Other than that, everything else was amazing. We hope the camp host gets better soon. He is a caring person and probably needs some prayers and love from his team.

Nice and comfortable place but night Shift manager in space 24 does not have any type of customer service training. She s does not know how to refer to customers.Manager had a personal friend personal reunion so she focused only on her surroundings but she never stepped out to check on the park security, safety of all others was at risk due to her being drinking while being on duty.

The front office staff particularly the manager Laura . She is VERY rude and unprofessional. Bumped my parents out of their spot without notice, so she can have that spot. She continues to be unprofessional and rude to my parents. Yes were my parents argumentative and aggressive in return? Of course. I m livid! My parents have been loyal customers there and have looked forward to their Arizona trips. Now since this is their living arrangements they re even more stressed about parking their trailer away from Sundance and Laura, because they don t need stress and drama! Grow up Sundance! Be careful people petty and immature management.

We have been going to Sundance for the past several years, staff and management has always been excellent friendly and the reason we continue to book our vacations at The Sundance RV Resort!!Recently management has changed and the New management is NOT engaged and does not seem to treat the customer as a true paying customer. We have always reserved our spot with a group of about 15 people as we have been for the past several years and the previous friendly and engaging management would actually reach out to us like family and ask if we were going to be there with our group this year. The new non engaging Management has now recently reserved our spot we ve had for several years. They now have us waiting basically in the desert pending a spot to open up or waiting for any cancellations. Also, the restaurant on property has been very friendly with fast service, very engaging staff to all the customers and the reason we always eat at the saloon, the pizza and food has always been excellent and we always treated them like family.Recently as this weekend we had a group of about 15 people, we ordered four pizzas with side salads and staff explained we could only order two pizzas and twoSalads because the waitress is actually making the food now and she s was busy. The staff just does not seem to want any customers at all now in the restaurant and it seems we are just a nuisance. Not sure what s going on with the staff management hopefully this is just a fluke for them and they are just burned out.Hopefully we can continue our traditions and our great memories with our family and friends at the Sundance RV Resort and Saloon and the new staff will hopefully replicate the previous friendly and engaging staff and management.

My experience with Sundance Resort was not a pleasant one. Last week, my wife and I decided to check out the grounds and were dismayed to discover that there was no cellular reception. We inquired with the locals about the park's WiFi and services and were informed that it was terrible and that they could not even connect to the internet. This was a major concern for us as we have a special needs child. We chose to cancel our reservation due to this fact in case of an emergency. When we called the resort to explain our situation, the first person we spoke to, Vicky, attempted to charge us an additional 20% on top of the $100 hold deposit. We asked to speak to a manager, and were met with Laura, who was extremely unprofessional and rude. She eventually waived the 20%, but refused to refund the $100 deposit. She then insulted us by insinuating that we were bad parents for not doing sufficient research and that she travels around the US with kids and does her research. It quickly became clear that the Sundance Resort does not care about special needs children or people, and is solely out to make a quick buck. I highly recommend avoiding this place, as you will run into very unprofessional people and they are only after your money.Safety: Safety is a concern to the fact of no cellular reception and poor wifi. Maybe with all the money that you guys are taking from people you should upgrade your system and put something more suitable for guests to use just my opinion we do live in the day and age of technology get with the times.

The nicest RV park on the strip, as far as I'm concerned! Sandy beach access, laundry, restrooms, individual shower rooms, saloon, boat docks, pizza on Fri/Sat evenings, pickleball courts, horseshoe pits, RV dump station, and a clubhouse are among the amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they accept mail/package delivery for those who stay. Park roads are paved, some sites are graveled while others are paved. Wide variety of site types and villas to choose from at various price points. ATV trails across the road from the park. Groceries and fuel located in Parker, AZ just 8 miles SE from the park.

Great beer selection & the wings are amazing, the pizza is fabulous too! Amanda was so great, she opened early for us. We were just on a little drive when we saw the sign & stopped in. Very clean & the decor is wonderful.

Highly Recommended! We really liked everything about this Thousand Trails RV Park. Very welcoming and helpful rangers! Beautiful tall date palm trees complete the California feel. We have a 44' Class A and carefully selected our back in site, a newer camper may opt to choose a pull thru as each site has a palm tree on either side and one behind your rig. After a couple days we choose to move to "our ideal" site next to the house shoe pits which was paved. The pool was sparkling clean with many pool chairs. Bathrooms great, laundry room clean with newer machines that took coins or offered online payment to a provided card... very easy. Thank you...keep up the great job running a wonderful RV Park!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, this place!!! Paul the owner is right there to make sure you don't need anything. We ran out of TP and good ole Paul ran out to Walmart and picked us up a pack he's the best. looking forward to our next trip won't stay anywhere else in California ever again. Arizona though has a lot of nice places too> BUT THEY DON'T HAVE PAUL.

AMAZING pizza! I was sad when it was gone. LOL the bartenders can be short & rude but the cook seemed friendly, and he's apparently good at his job because the food is legit. I could also see into the kitchen from the bar - it looks spotless! One other downfall though are their limited hours..I was glad we caught them while they were open last weekend! But we definitely had to hear snide remarks from the bartender when we arrived that "she thought she was going to get to leave at 8", which she did because we are considerate patrons.

Awesome family campground on the CA side of the Colorado River! Love it here! We keep coming back every year multiple times! Best RV spot on the Parker Strip in my opinion! Clean bathrooms, nice well kept sites. See you next time!

I am an educated, professional 45 year old woman. I am in the service business. We have been coming to the River for 20 years and specifically to Sundance for the last 6 years, give or take.5 years ago I would have recommended Sundance RV without a second's thought. We had a spot with Sundance, riverfront, for 3 years with zero complaints. Over the last several years, though, the place has become a complete crapshoot. Not because of location - the location is great.Bathrooms - typically very cleanPrices - expensive but if you are wanting a quality experience, it used to be worth the price. There are three reasons why you should consider NOT giving Sundance your business, today:1. Their customer service is horrendous2. The location is no longer safe with a family3. They over-charge and even fraudulently make charges on your account. The management and staff are absolutely horrific. Not only do they treat you like second class citizens, but they over-charge without documentation and can't keep their documents straight to save their lives.Try to get a pizza or beer at the restaurant - you will be treated like you are burden.Be aware if you schedule a spot - we have shown up when we were supposed to have been spotted and after a 5 hour drive been told - NOPE, we didn't have it on the schedule (even though we called the week before to confirm). Then they tried to charge us several months later for that exact event - when we had to go stay in a hotel and drive home the next day because they didn't have another spot available.....Now...let's talk about the people they let come into the site. The last time we were spotted and stayed (we typically stay for 30 days at a time when we come).....the neighboring people were blaring their music well into the night (I'm talking 1am), when we asked the neighbors to turn it down, there was almost a physical altercation (we are in our 50's - they were in their mid-20s - early 30s)....we asked for Sundance to assist if there were issues the next day and they pretty much told us to pound sand. This place has really gone to hell in a handbasket.I would highly advise going to Havasu Springs Resort over this place.

The most over-priced experience we've had in over a year. Should have known, we've tried to go here in the past just never was according to THEIR schedule. We were early today but it didn't help our experience. $9 for 6or7 'jalapeno poppers' soda over $3 each, the remaining $40+ was pizza plus tip. Won't happen again...
