Art is very professional, thorough and most importantly very trustworthy. I've been going there for the past several years and I get excellent service every time. Dublin Auto Care is a great trust worthy shop.I first went to them when I had to get my catalytic converter replaced and they had the best rate / customer service.Starting with the phone call, Miguel was very kind and through.As a person who doesn't know much about auto repair, I really appreciate how he helped me to clearly understand what's going on with my car in an easy and respectful way. Not only that, he went out of his way to go pick up one of the parts from the dealership himself when there was a delivery issue during the repair.And then when I brought my car back in for a separate issue, Miguel took a look at the problem and taught me a safe / low cost DIY solution instead of suggesting a much more expensive job.Compared to the careless and bad services I experienced from the big name brand body shop I used to take my car to, Dublin Auto Care is a real gem of a shop that I feel can trust with any job.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

What an incredible automotive repair shop! I recently moved to the Dublin area and I've been looking for a mechanic that is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and that provides quality work at a reasonable price. Based on my personal experience and lengthy conversations with these guys, I would not go anywhere else. Art and the rest of the team are truly amazing and they really care about the work they do to the finest details. Not only that, they go above and beyond the scope of work to make sure that you are satisfied. I truly felt that Art and the team gave me the white glove treatment on my 1987 BMW 325I.Prior to finding Funks/Edge, I called a few other shops for estimates and they were just plain silly based on the scope of work. Luckily, I found Funks/Edge online and was pleasantly surprised to see all the amazing reviews, so I gave Art a call. Let me tell you that this was a game changer! First of all, Art and I must have spoken for at least ~30-45 min and I knew I was in good hands. I explained to him what I wanted to do and because of his extensive knowledge, he was quick to point out a few other maintenance items that I should consider since they would be working in that general area. The very next day, Art gave me a quote as promised and it was very reasonable and competitive. To be honest, pricing is very important, but to me, it's pointless if the work being done or the people you're working with can't be trusted. Art and his team are exceptions in every way possible.The work was finished on time and Art's team went above and beyond in a few areas. For one, they found a few covers that were originally missing and also informed me of some questionable work that was previously done. Secondly, I've had a weird clutch issue and their team went above and beyond with trying to diagnose it and also bled the system to rule out hydraulics at no charge (at least an hour right there!). Thirdly, Art stayed in constant communication with me through the entire process. There's plenty more, but let's just say that I was very impressed!To sum this up, I'm an automotive enthusiast and I'm very particular when it comes to having others work on my vehicle. I had the most amazing experience and I will keep coming back to them. If you need work done on your car, skip the other shops. I highly recommend Art, Ryan and the rest of the team at Funks/Edge for any of your automotive repair needs!-Nick

Art has been doing foreign auto repair for almost 30 years and I have been his customer since forever! He truly cares about your finances, your safety and can be trusted to tell you the truth unlike so many others- I dont call anyone but Funks Auto Works, his crew are all well trained and are very kind, clean and compassionate. I refer all my coworkers to Funks. He works on both my Volvos. He doesn't sell you parts you don't need. He'll tell you if you need to replace something right away or if you can go for a couple months more before replacement . It's reassuring to know that there are honest mechanics out there like him. As an aviation mechanic myself I have even greater respect for what he does. Don't waste your time elsewhere-that's not my opinion it's a fact.

The owner Art is the rare combination of nice, knowledgeable AND honest. His prices always beat the dealerships. Excellent for both foreign and domestic cars.
