Brian's knowledge of cars is above most shops around. I have taken my car several times now and have been pleased with the results. He tried to keep the cost down.

This is a diamond in the rough.I brought my old car (2000) with over 160k miles, knowing very well there are many things wrong that need repair. However, they not only took care of the item I specifically requested, but they didn't try to sell me a ton of things to make more money. In fact, come to find out the person I was dealing with is the owner.I asked him about some other issues and he very kindly and clearly spelled out the costs, turnaround time, as well as his suggestions. This is kind of place for me. Please give me what I asked for and if I need anything else, I will gladly ask.Nothing pushy.Price was fair. Not expensive and 1 day turnaround.I definitely recommend this place.

I got my car's brakes worked upon by Brian some months back. He diagnosed the exact problem and suggested the best fix at a reasonable price. He never tried to upsell any unwanted service. The car runs great and I never had any issues so far. I enjoyed the no-drama, straight to the point service, and I would definitely recommend Brian's Automotive.Service: Brakes

This guy thinks I'm rich, he was trying to scam me into $2,590 to replace the differential axle on my truck. I saw him push the "RR Diff Lock" button back in again after he release it when we test drive. I thought something wrong with my truck. This was the type of business I was fearful to come to, making a bad name for Auto Repair. Not a happy customer! Be careful, always find a second opinion if you plan to go here.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Best mechanic we have ever been to by far! Brian is nice and very personable and knows exactly what he s talking about. He explains exactly what is happening to you and even shows you the problem. He does not try to sell you anything extra. Just exactly what you need at an excellent price. So glad to live so close to this location and will only be going to Brian whenever we have car trouble!

I usually don t take the time to write reviews, but I had a very bad experience at this automotive shop that I believe is worth sharing. I want to preface by saying that I have an above average understanding of automotive repair, and prefer to do most work myself. However, for some bigger jobs (or when I am busy) Brian became my go to mechanic for over a year. He does have a good reputation and did very quality work on my cars. He is professional, clear, and puts in quality parts when they are available. However, one experience at this shop was downright unacceptable.I had Brian install a CV boot in a 1995 Celica as routine maintenance. However, when the car came back from the shop, it had a noticeable tic from the transmission. Brain offered to install another CV boot, but the problem did not go away. He differed the issue and downright lied to both me and my uncle who has 40+ years as a machinist and master mechanic.I ended up taking my car to a transmission shop, who stated upon inspection that the CV retaining clip had dropped into the transmission, damaging the spline beyond repair. I had to have a new transmission built and installed, costing me thousands of dollars on a (once) perfectly good part.I understand that mistakes happen. However, honesty and integrity of work should never been put behind profits. Brian does do quality work, but when things go wrong he does not stand by his reputation. I do not recommend anyone taking their cars to this shop.

An honest mechanic with great prices. I went in for noisy engine and expected the worst. Mechanic quickly identified issue with sound of car. He let me know my car was leaking coolant as water pump had gone bad, I let him know that my car had no leaks, he politely proceeded to show me that coolant was leaking internally, I was amazed that this man was able to determine this by sound, he made a couple of economical suggestions but I suggested a new water pump. He gave me an estimate that was very reasonable, I contacted other mechanics nearby and Brian's automotive was by far the best price potentially saved hundreds of dollars in labor costs. Left my car and picked up next day. sketchy engine noise was gone, car was very calm and quiet when idling, I am very satisfied with work done, to top it all off he threw in free serpentine belt as mine was worn out. I paid 390 which was lower than estimate given. Paid for water pump replacement , new thermostat , an oil change and new oil filter, in my experience dealing with mechanics this work was way underpriced. I highly recommend this business.

Not Just Good Service. I also feel Brian is honest both with his evaluation of the service issues and with his pricing. I've compared the half dozen repairs he has made to my 1992 Lexus LS400 with over 200,000 miles and he wasn't always the lowest but definitely fair. Trusting your mechanic is worth real $$$ so in my book I trust him and won't go anywhere else. Give him a try and you'll know right way why he's so busy.

Brian is an experienced mechanic took it to another mechanic first to get it ready for smog they ran smoke check and said it was a bad gasket and it would cost a lot to replace the manifold gasket. Then took it to Brian he ran a smoke check there was no gasket leak he told me just to replace the aftermarket air filter with the stock one, problem solved check engine light went off passed smog. Save money, bottom line take it to Brian first,

I took my car in to get my major maintenance done like the timing belt, water pump, spark plugs ..etc. It ran and drove fine before taking it in. When I picked up my vehicle the check engine light was on and it had a mis fire. Brian told me to drive it around and it should go away. I drove it for 2 weeks and it never went away. I took it back and he said he will take care of it. It took over a month to get my vehicle back and it still had the mis fire issue. During this wait time Brian assured me he was working on it, but after making a few visits to see the progress the vehicle never was worked on and it sat in the same spot for a month. He finally said he found the problem, but I guess not because the check engine and the mis fire came back a day later. When I asked when can I bring my vehicle back he told me to bring it by, but it will not be worked on until 2 weeks. I know it will be longer because Brian likes to give me the run around and likes to lie. I will never go to this guy again his work ethic and service to customers is just horrible. On top of my experience my sister needed work done on her suv because a check engine light guess what when he said it was fixed the check engine light came back on when we left his shop. We took it home and we hooked it up to a check engine light diagnostic and when we told Brian what it was. His answer was to go to a junk yard and find the part we needed and bring it to him. Man oh man If I could leave no stars I would because this type of service is unacceptable.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair

In this day and age, an honest mechanic can mean the difference between keeping a car for its entire intended service life or having to spend thousands on costly and unnecessary repairs and still having to get rid of a vehicle before it's time. Brian and his staff are no nonsense, quick, courteous, and efficient. He makes nothing on the parts for your vehicle and gives you exactly what you need to get running again. I have a high mileage Mazda CX-7 that's nearly a decade old with the typical problems of a Frankenstein car that was engineered to fill a gap and Brian has kept me rolling from adventure to adventure and my car has definitely been pushed to do things the designers never intended a sport crossover to do. If you want a fancy Apple style maintenance experience, go somewhere else, if you want an honest mechanic who works hard and gets you going again as fast as human hands can, go to Brian.

How often can you put the word honest and fair in front of automechanic. This is one of the rare ones you can go to and he will take you behind the curtain and show you why you need something done and explain it to you.Dealerships will charge you an arm and a leg for repairs and maintenance. His prices will make you wonder why you havent been going to him in the first place.Yes, he is always busy, and there's a reason why!
