Worst 2 hours spent. Never again wasting my time at this place . Came in for a flat tire repair and it took them 2 hours just to inform me there wasn't a problem and had me waiting for 2 long hours just for that. I had to go push them to hurry up otherwise probably would off still been there waiting on them. For being a corporate place they should have more front staff and better management for small things like this.

Horrible! I made an appointment at 10:00 am came for tire rotations, and alignment. When I bought my tires I added the life time tire rotation and wheel alignment. I was there for 1:30. This i a ridiculous. I'm not happy with the service, when I asked the receptionist she said that due to her being bussy answering calls she didn't notice my car was ready.

The receptionist was nice but it took too long (5.5 hours) for an oil change and 2 brake pads even though I had an appointment. Also very pricey. When you call in they place you on extended hold times and don t return to the call. Not worth it.

We have had issues with customer service at other locations in the past. The Downey location has more polite and more informative employees. I was not informed on the status of my service and I called once and I was informed I would be provided an update after 5-7 minutes, no call or message. I dropped the car off 30 minutes before my appointment, just in case I can get my car services earlier. The car was not ready until 2 and a half hours later. I had one tire that needed to be replaced.

Found a nail in one of my tires in the morning before driving to work. Took my car here for tire repair. It turned out all of my tires were bald (80,000 miles old). Priscilla gave me options for new tires and her honest recommendations. She didn t try to sell me the most expensive items, but what was reasonable and necessary. I appreciate that so much. Service was prompt and they were able to finish the tire replacement and alignment in 2 hours so I could go in to work. Highly recommend this place.

I had schedule an appointment in advance at 11:00am, for an oil change at this Downey location. After 3 hours of my car not moving I inquiere in why it was taking so long. Seemed like they just forgot about my car. I waited another 2 more hours. After inquiring a second time I received a condescending and rude answer from the staff about how an appointment doesn t guaranty anything. Without an appointment it could take MA�ANA , or two to finishing with my car .At the end I just had an oil change and tire rotation for an expensive price that took 5+ hours. Next time I ll go to a different place. I understand work can get busy and most places are short staff but it seems like this place lacks organization, is OVER PRICED and 100% lacks customer service. We all get frustrated but there is no need for the staff to be condescending and rude. An oil change can not take 5+ hours.Services: Tires, Oil change

I called Tuesday 3/26/2024 to get a quote for 4 Bridgestone 235/45 R20 96w Allenza tires. I got my quote and at an appointment for Friday 3/29/2024. My Wife and I get there to find out they only have 2 of the 4 tires I ordered. This was a big inconvenience since it s Easter weekend. We had to go back the next day Saturday 3/30/2024 and was there for 2 hours. We were disappointed with the service.

We have used Firestone for car up-keep for several years and are very satisfied with their service. The location is easy to get to, ease of making an appointment, and being able to check car maintenance records online are all assets.

They should update their hours of operation. Arrived 30 min before closing as I had a flat and was around the corner. Only for them to tell me that they were closed and they couldn't do anything about it. When they were still working and had people waiting for their cars in reception. Had to get my car tow to a different tire shop for service.

Santos was very professional, he made my experience welcoming. Before I went to this location u stopped at pep boys first. They were rude and unprofessional. Now I know firestone will be my first and only stop.

I came in for a scheduled oil change. It took them 30 minutes just to take my car back then it took them another another 90 minutes and when they finished the just moved my car to the back so I could wait for nothing. I'm standing here in front of an employee for about 10 minutes before he even acknowledged me

The staff is super welcoming and nice. The only downside is there is always a wait time even with appointments. They always seem to fall behind. They are never pushy!

I recently moved to the Downey area and I am so grateful I found this place, they did my brake job, oil change & changed a engine coil for me as well. Customer service is great and the staff is super knowledgeable. Will definitely be coming back!

Firestone complete auto care in Downey off of Cecila st. Nice friendly atmosphere this is where i feel comfortable in receiving good information. So when my tires go bald again which is due to my driving back and forth during the pandemic. I will remember where i can get self respectable brands and friendly service too. Thank you

Why is there an option to select wait in store when making an appointment? I was waiting there for nearly 4 hours for an oil change. My whole day was basically getting an oil change because of how long it took. I will not recommend this place to anyone. That took way too long.

Was not considered of my time. My appointment was scheduled for 1 PM and The mechanics lunch was at 1 PM. I came in half an hour earlier than my scheduled appointment. Car was not serviced until after 2 PM. Make sure you don t schedule around the mechanics lunchtime.

I took my car to this place to have it serviced. In this place they tell you that the experts recommend you do this or that even if you have done it recently, and if you don't do it you get in trouble. They did not change the filter in my car because they said they could not remove it but they did charge me the indicated amount. They switched the tires but they didn't put the tire covers on properly and two of them were already lost, they told me two hours and they gave me the car after 8 hours. . This place is a disaster and I do not recommend it, the service and commitment to customers is horrible.

Horrible communication. Forgot to order my tires for the next day. Two trips back just to collect my old tires so that I could take my business elsewhere. Your time means nothing to these people.

Always a pleasure to visit this location, Priscilla is such an amazing rep and I appreciate her and the whole team for always taking care of Hailey (my car); Coming back from Reno and searching for a reliable car maintenance specialist team can be overwhelming and some of the locations don't match the same experience you receive from your normal go-to location.But ever since coming back from Reno and visiting this location. It has become the only place I'd trust that would always take care of my girl and a confidence to know that she's in good hands. Glad I found my forever auto care store here in Downey.

First off SANTOS THE MAN, this guy is the one to look for when you head over to fire stone, he s nice welcoming and all around a good personality, got in and out of the place in no time, I ve never had an experience at fire stone like how santos provided, THANK YOU SANTOS I WILL BE BACK FOR SOME TIRES BROTHA

I want to share one of the most amazing manager I've seen at Firestone in the last 10 years. She handled every customer with professionalism, compassion and care. I'm not just talking about the ones inside, I'm also speaking on the ones on the phone. She took care of at least 8 customers at one time prioritizing everyone's issues. I hope her supervisor appreciates who they have at hand and how well she handles all that stress. If I could give her 10 stars I would. Hope she gets recognized for the strength it takes to deal with so many people all wanting everything done ASAP.

Previously, a good friend who was a retired mechanic got his wheel studs studs stripped after getting his Dodge Truck serviced at this shop. The shop accused him of cross threading his own lug nuts, even though nobody but this service center had serviced his truck. He blew his top, and the service manager paid for the new wheel stud and installation. Bob told me not to trust this shop. Years have past and I decided to give them another chance.My family has purchased 4 sets of tires, and a multi year alignment service from the Firestone Tire center. We were very happy with the prices and service from the center, until now.We have a low mileage Dodge Minivan. We purchased tires and an alignment service contract for it. Upon conducting the service a wheel stud was broken. Nobody had removed the wheels from minivan since the new tires were installed in January of 2023. The technician immediately blamed us for the problem. The wheel stud could not be replaced because the Mopar hub does not allow for stud replacement. The Service Manager did not show my niece or brother in-law the hub. Nor did he ask if we wanted the old part.They held us hostage and said this is a safety issue and would not release the car. Wheel studs can break when impact tools are used improperly. In our experience with this particular center tells us this is a distinct possibility. They also claim they notified us of the condition of the wheel studs from prior servicing. We believe them, paid the $465 to get our minivan back.Upon checking all of our service records, no warning of bad studs exists. We are going back to get our old part, and will pursue an investigative claim with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair.I sincerely believe we were treated as naive customers with limited resources and automotive knowledge. Just because I choose to drive older model cars doesn t entitle this service center to assume I know nothing and I don t have legal resources. Be careful using this center. Ask for old parts and watch their technicians. They amazingly don t seem to care about keeping our business.My best friend is a Master Mechanic and a fellow educator. We have discussed this issue at length. I hope the shop has video of yesterday s activity. I can assure you the truth about what happened will reveal itself.I researched the hub they used for replacement. It s a Duralast aftermarket part, Autozone price $85.99, Firestone charged us $218.99, plus $276.80 1.6 hours of labor. That s a 254% markup on a aftermarket part!Not feeling very good about my relationship with this place. Update. In all fairness to this Firestone Tire Center, we returned to location to retrieve the old parts (hub). The service attendant was very cooperative and pleasant. He was able to locate the part, after my wife said she d look through their trash, after service writer said part was probably thrown away. I spoke to my local Downey Automotive repair shop. I asked what normal markup on parts were. He said no more than 150%. The labor charges at this facility appears to be set at approximately $172/hr, which is extremely expensive compared to local shops.Be very.cautious taking your vehicles to this facility. They use very powerful impact tools and the level of expertise among technicians vary. If mistakes take place, they probably will place blame on the customer. At the very least, buy the replacement parts yourself. You re going to save at least 61% or tow to another shop. Great tire products and prices. Questionable quality of service and undoubtedly expensive parts and labor charges. Apparently no interest in establishing long term customer relationships and trust.Service: Wheel alignment

Sup par at best. Don't worry about making appointments, pointless. Drop off vehicle for an oil change @10am(appointment) call @3pm for an update was told we'll call you when its ready. Started calling back @6pm(close @7) for an hour to no avail. Now it's Sunday and still not finished...Service: Oil changeService: Oil change
