Just stop in to pick their brain on an issue Im having. The owner, George, was very nice and offered some good info. Will for sure give them a try next time I need work done on my Duramax.

. .......They ( deisel tune) told me my turbo was done. I didn't feel it was right and took it to a dealer. Lil under $3000 repair. No turbo needed. I'm over 30k miles on the same turbo. Highly disappointed and feel betrayed for the reason that I had done other big repairs on my truck there. Makes me feel I may have gotten taken advantage of with the other repairs as well.

Finding a good diesel repair center is tough. I found these guys after my previous mechanic misdiagnosed my truck and I ended up stranded on the highway. This shop provides exceptional customer service, they're courteous, fair and do good work. My fuel pump was replaced by the previous shop, however the gas lines were junk, these guys found this out through their expert analysis. Since then I've had them do my brakes, radiator flush and I have been very happy. I actually came back thinking my rear brakes had an issue with brake chatter and George at no charge identified that the problem was due to my own ignorance and he torqued my rear airbag that was actually making what I thought was brake chatter.

Brought in my 2013 Silverado Duramax that had some turbo issues, At first i took it to the dealer just to see what was wrong with it and dealer recommended a full turbo replacement which was going to run me over $5,000. I decided to take it to DIESEL TUNE for a second opinion before making a big decision, George gave me a free diagnostic test on my truck and said a simple battery replacement would do the trick so i took his word on it and have had ZERO issues with my truck ever since.Customer service was great price was even better. Extremely pleased with my experience. Thanks again guys keep it up!

Great place to bring your truck. Sal and his crew were great and very professional. Highly recommended . Dealer wanted 30k to replace the engine , But Sal took it a step at a time and saved me the replacement cost.

2nd Update: George worked out a partial refund.Update: George has reached out to me and trying to make things right. I will edit this post if he holds up his end of the deal...Steer clear from this place if you are looking to diagnose problems possibly caused by a tuning issue. They seem to have no knowledge of performance tuned diesels. I paid $260 for false diagnosis of a bad turbo ($4800 estimate) and they would not return my $240 deposit towards the new turbo install. Save your money and go elsewhere. I took my truck to Pacific Performance Engineering for a second opinion to find out the turbo was not faulty and simply needed some tuning via EFI Live. Diesel-Tune may have taken me for my $500, but at least they didn't get me for $4800. Hopefully this saves some of you performance diesel truck owners from getting taken by these guys...

Great customer service and great price. Very knowledgeable staff. Sal was awesome in answering all my questions and even helping me in choosing after market add ons. Would definitely be coming back here and recommending to everyone who owns a diesel truck.

This place took me in on short notice and then put 2 techs on my truck to get it done as promised. Sal knows his business and doesn't sugar coat things, he's straight to the point, fair, and honest. I will definitely be a customer (hopefully not soon) in the future.

These guys are great!!!You can find cheaper mechanics, but you will not find more experienced mechanics. They found several problems my previous mechanics did wrong.they got me in and out quickly as well. I will be back when i need anything worked on my diesel truck.

The best Diesel repair shop in L.A. I had a high pressure oil leak and they were able to diagnose and fix the issue, as well as upgrade some parts (afer the work was approved of course and they throughly explained what their were doing and talked on the phone with us daily). Overall amazing experience and my truck had actually never run better! Fair honest price for laobor for a wonderful job!

2011 Dodge Ram 2500!DieselTune is the #1 diesel shop around LA.I took my truck to my regular mechanic and he butchered it. That mechanic had to tow my truck to the Dodge Dealer and they kinda fixed it but that darn check engine light kept coming back on. Several visits and several thousand dollars later with the dealer I had enough.I took it to DieselTune. Sal, John and the rest of the team are awesome. They explained the steps and test they needed to do before preforming miscellaneous work like the dealer. Long story short, they fixed my truck and it runs like NEW! I wish I would have came here in the first place!They even took my vehicle to get smogged. I also needed to get new key phobs programmed and they took care of that at no charge! What shop does that? DieselTune does! Thanks guys!

They took over 6 hours to do a simple pre-purchase inspection, and it was not detailed or organized. Sal got mad that one of the employees was "spending too much time" trying to explain the results of the inspection to me. It should have taken 2 hours or less and had clearly written results.

I can t stop coming in for more mods on my Cummins lifted 4x4 truck.Professional.Price is reasonable.They don t pressure you with labor and parts you don t need.

2014 ram 2500went in for a bad turbo....great customer service, sal in the front desk hook me up He took the time to explain every single detail to me since I don t know much about diesel don t let the prices scare you away you get what you pay for at this shop .. definitely recommend
