Had my brakes done for a very reasonable price about 4-6 months ago. Seemed great until had Oil changed elsewhere. The brake line was twisted due to incorrect install. As such tore hole in the CV boot.Brought car back, talked to the manager, BJ, let him know what was discovered. He said if it was us, I will take care of it.He got the parts came in next day.Put car on rack to view the problem.BJ took me to see under the car for review. Said so sorry this is our fault. 100% we will make it right.And they did no charge to me!!And it was only a couple of hours!!Totally honest and responsible.Incredible!!You need your vehicle worked onGo see BJ @ Dixon Suspension and Smog!!

What an awesome shop! This was my first time getting any work done at Dixon Suspension and Smog. I needed to get the fuel filters replaced and an oil change on my truck. When I called for a quote the owner was super friendly and was able to give me the price on the spot. He suggested we make an appointment to ensure he had the right technician available to perform the work and not cause me any delays. When I arrived I was greeted by a worker that made sure I knew I was welcome to make myself a coffee or grab a drink from their refrigerator in the waiting area. When the owner came in he immediately remembered our call and what services I needed to get done. The work was done quickly and the cost was actually a little cheaper than the initial quote. He even offered to help me out with some additional issues that I brought up after dropping the truck off. The owner made sure to take care of this first time customer. Thanks again for everything. I will definitely be back!!

This was my first time here I really recommend this place. They explain everything your car has and they fix it. The owner and the workers there are very clear spoken and helpful, the shop stayed open after hours just to finish my car. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a honest repair shop. So grateful I found this place.

Dixon suspension is an amazing shop. I m glad I brought my truck here to get my suspension lift kit done in addition to getting my truck serviced as well. Bj made the process smooth and easy with no pressure. He presented me many different options and allowed me to choose the kit the best fit the purpose of my truck. BJ was able to diagnose a suspension problem that several shops failed to do in a matter of minutes, and was able to get everything fixed and done right. Couldnt have asked for a better experience and I am grateful for the help of BJ and his team! Got my truck back up and running on a last minute notice and the professionalism that the shop carry themselves with is top tier. Great pricing, great work and a great group of guys! I'll be returning for all work on all of my vehicles from here on out. Thanks again to BJ and his team.

Took my truck there for suspension work & new shocks. High quality work and a fair price. Would have given five stars but came back today for my appointment for a retorque, waited for 45 min or more, then had to leave because there was no sign they could start in time. Would still go back but will make sure to get there at opening.

BJ was extremely helpful in getting a new lift for my truck. I took my truck to another shop about 6 months prior that did an absolutely horrible job installing a lift. BJ went over many different options and was no pressure. Not only did he do an amazing job installing his lift he fixed a lot of the other shops mistakes for me at no charge. Thanks BJ. My truck drives better than ever. I will be coming here for all my service/maintenance needs.

BJ went above and beyond from start to finish with the lift. He was extremely knowledgeable and honest about all manufacturers and gave input on which would be best for what the truck is used for without trying to upsell anything. Got us in and out quick and it turned out great. Trustworthy, small independent automotive shop. The owner of this shop is very knowledgeable, respectful and has excellent customer service. The owner goes out of his way to explain everything that's going on with your car. I was waiting in the waiting room for my oil change and the owner came in to speak with another customer about the services he was getting. He walked him through what they were doing. He even went out of his way to show the customer his filter was dirty and needed to be replaced. Before replacing the filter he verified with the customer if he wanted it replaced. I will definitely be coming back here. I finally found a shop who is honest and not trying to scam you out of getting work done when you don't need it. I would definitely recommend this place. Let me first start by saying, EVERY PART of my 10 inch 8k lift kit that I BROUGHT TO BJ WAS ON A PALLET and in boxes -see video- The truck arrived on a tow truck. Bj was attentive with my specific requests, he listened and repeated every step of my final vision. Bj, only had four days to NAIL my vision, before my Regional Truck show. Every step of the way, he kept in contact-i was on vacation- when I returned...BARNONE EXECUTION!!!! No need for words, see the video/pictures below. Dixon is professional, fair and thorough. BTW, I dropped the truck off on a Sunday, when all other shops were sleeping. 2016 Gmc 2500 HD Diesel 10" lift on 26" American Forces...this project that Dixon Suspension absolutely NAILED was not for the weak. Customer for life...

Came here on short notice. Bj took me in for a oil change with tire rotation and additional inspection. He found the engine air filter to be dirty and made me aware of a small oil leak. I would like to thank Bj and his crew for thier honesty and service. I will defenatly be a repeat customer with my cars in addition to my family vechicles.

100% a really good shop. I don t have any experience with any other, but my first experience was very very good. Came in already knew what I kind of wanted, was helped right away. Was also shown other options that are out there if I wanted which was nice. Had a A Rough Country 2.5 Level w/ front and rear struts ordered and it came within a week or so. Communication was great, BJ gave me a call said it was delivered and we scheduled a day/time. Came in a couple weeks later (due to my schedule, I wasn t available earlier) and got it all installed. This was all a simple and easy process.I ll be coming back soon when my wheels come in.

Bj and his team are extremely professional and very knowledgeable. They are detail oriented. They took care of me from the moment I walked in for a quote to when I walk to my truck after having my suspension overhauled. They had fair prices. I got scheduled out and all the parts were ordered before hand to ensure a smooth transaction they had my vehicle in and out the same day which was impossible at my prior suspension shop. Our 2006 Dodge Charger needed the entire front end and rear struts replaced. It was a lot of work and they had it done quickly and used quality parts! They even asked us to test drive it before we paid. It drives like a dream now! Dixon Suspension and Smog are professional, knowledgeable, friendly and have competitive prices. I took my car here after going to several shops in the area. Other areas wanted double. The owner is honest and friendly. They take care of the customer like they use to in the past. The have a nice clean waiting area while you wait and plus free drinks while you wait. Best kept secret in town!!!! This place is the place the go for all your automotive needs. Smog, brakes , suspension, oil change and maintenance. One stop shop! I high recommend you come here and you won't regret. 100% friendly and honest. Trust me these guys know there business!

Bj and his team are complete professionals. On two separate occasions, within a month apart from each other, I was treated with the utmost respect and he never once tried to upsell me any services I didn't need. My first interaction with BJ and his shop was to get an oil change, but I had a question if he could inspect my brakes since I was in an accident a month prior and was experiencing issues with my brakes. He recommended a tire rotation (which I needed) and a brake inspection would be included. His team informed me that my front brakes were pretty much at the end of their life and recommended replacement, while the rears were close as well, but not as bad and showed me the condition of each pad and rotor (didn't have the money at the time to replace them then). Fast forward to last night, my brakes went out. I walked in this morning and asked if it'd be possible to do a brake swap within the day or next day. BJ told me to bring my truck to the shop and they immediately started working on my brakes. Not only did I have my truck fixed within an hour and a half, but BJ also worked with me to get the best price on the parts. Not once during the whole encounter did BJ or his team try to sell me any services I didn't need. Due to this level of professionalism and committment to the customer, BJ, his team, and Dixon Suspension & Smog have gained a faithful customer. I definitely recommend Dixon Suspension & Smog with your vehicle.

Thank goodness I found a place to take my car today! Problem with the battery and front lights. I felt really taken care of with respect and felt understood! Highly recommend you bring your car here if you live in Dixon! Extremely professional and very accommodating. He knows his business and really wants to help to make sure I drive home with a very safe vehicle! I will definitely return back to him for all my car needs!

The experience I had with BJ and his team was remarkable , I came in and was greeted with open arms. Came in for questions regarding a lift and BJ took the time to throughly explain everything to me and taking his time to explain each and every lift possible to me , also showing me the different lifts. I had little knowledge to this and him taking the time to explain it to me. Showed the kind of business he runs. Never felt pressured one moment. We decided on tires and lifts and the detail work and detailed he put in to make sure it was perfect was perfect , communicating with me the whole time and showing me exactly what they did. Definitely recommend this place if you want amazing work done and amazing customer service.

I waited to get my oil change and need one desperately. I called in the shop because most places close at 6pm and they were the freaking best!!! I told them I got off work at 5pm and they told me to come on down and provided an amazing service! They were so kind and honest. Had the opportunity today to try newest Automotive shop in Dixon and meet the owner. BJ (owner) was very polite customer service friendly and informative. Service was done correctly and the technician was very attentive to detail. Thank you for the positive experience. Will let others know that this is an automotive shop that they can trust and rely on to get the job done right the first time and not try to upsell the customer.

I brought in a 6in rough country vertex lift to them which turned out to have zero hardware for the kit. They went all the way out to Rancho Cordova to grab a bolt kit for the lift. We also ran into a problem where my tires would not fit so he then had to go out and find spacers for that to. After doing all of that nonsense for me he still gave me a discount on pretty much everything and was very patient and helpful. Amazing place to take your truck to be lifted! I was leaving town and last minute I decided I should get new front brakes for my vehicle, I went to Dixon Suspension & Smog and without any hesitation BJ said he would help and within 45 mins he had a new set of brakes installed. BJ and his crew are honest, fast, and have the best customer service! I wouldn t go any other place!

Service was great, professional, friendly and quick. BJ showed me the "cabin filter" that cleans the air before entering your passenger area, and it was in terrible shape. No one had ever told me about this filter in many years driving this car. They also inspected other areas of the car and notified me of possible needs for repair, down the road which I appreciated!
