I believe in convenience for customers, all around, especially for urgent situations, for yourself, your guests, kids . This place has been a great convenience store and offers niceties except for restroom offerings. The general store itself offers baked goods and drinks but no restrooms; the restaurant next door does but when it s closed, general store doesn t have access? They direct customers down the beach restroom, which is fine, but even that has only one stall (one is currently out of order I think for special circumstances, they should train their staff to make exceptions or have a better read on things )

I had walked up the hill. Hoping for a auto section. Lol maybe about a foot wide is what the shelf had. The last power steering fluid. I asked . I was assisted and handed the last bottle. Was glad. It was enough to trouble shoot my system. It was the Pressure Line. Thanks shout out to my Bro. Getting me back on the road. The store was very helpful which was available . hint add a little more Auto section.

They sell lettuce in a bowl which they call salad for $12 . Should be a crime. Everything is overpriced for what they sell.

The only place in town to get food, so the prices are disturbingly high. The attached restaurant was closed, but we got a couple of sandwiches at the store. The label indicated the sandwiches were made in the restaurant and that they were $14 each! This would not normally result in a 5/5 rating, but I have to admit, both sandwiches were superb and worth every penny. The store had a good selection of packaged foods and drinks and supplies for the many nearby rental cottages. Service was good and friendly, as I was the only customer. We ate our sandwiches in the car with a beautiful view of the dunes and beach, as you can see. So, if you're going to Dillon Beach, bring your own food or be prepared to enjoy (really enjoy) the food they have for you there. Parking is $10.

Unique, Novelty Grocery Store. It has a little bit of everything and nothing on your grocery list at the same time.(and I say that in a good way). I think the best item I saw was a quart of boxed water for $3. That was great as it was in neither glass or plastic. A little pricy but worth it. Plus the employees are helpful and polite.

Loved stopping there!Such a variety of items too!We got some sandwiches that were premade and some drinks and pasta salads and they were delicious! They have a little bit of everything here and it was a nice little stop. Will definitely return on my next beach trip.

I was worried when I saw how they'd made it fancy and chi chi, but it was really pleasant. Lots of good stuff, not cheap! I think the soft serve is the only item for families on a budget. They were having staffing shortages when we were there, so no baked goods and we had to ask for ice since the case was empty. But the clerk ran to wherever and made up a bag for us. Can't wait to return.

Amazing! I've been coming to Dillons since II was a baby and loved the little place that was here before. It was an average vacation town shop with overpriced snacks and amenities you may have forgotten. Over the years it became quite rundown and was really looking tired the last time I visited. When we popped in this weekend I was SO amazed to see it so spruced up. The design is very current, the food/snack selection is clean and mostly organic. Price wise you're paying what you were with the previous owners but getting organic so no one should be complaining! I do think tge souvenir department could be better. It would be cool to see some green toys sand sets for the kids. Can't wait to try the beautiful coffee bar. We were recommended by the owner (who was very happy and helpful) to try the soft serve it was perfect and $3. Can't beat it. So glad they bought the place.

Very cute local store! Great to find a gift or to buy something made by local artists (jewelry, glasses, cute little plates) or shop for a dinner at home.Staff is VERY friendly and helpful and it was just a pleasure to shop there.Don't forget to try their soft serve vanilla or salted caramel ice cream which is not very sweet and just fantastic after or before your time at the beach!

Beautiful store with a great view. Overpriced but so secluded you would have to expect the prices. Parking lot can be difficult to get in and out of. The ladies seem to love this place but guys expect to be holding your ladies purse and standing in the corner.

Latte was so sour this morning I had to throw it in the trash. A few days ago we bought two and had to throw one away. Please train your baristas.

Old country style atmosphere is gone. Now it is a mini commercial grocery store. Even souvenirs are few and far between. Prices out of this world. Definitely will not buy anything there. Would rather drive elsewhere then pay more then gas would cost.

Well stocked and the only store you will find from any miles. It would be helpful if they had more fresh, ready to eat, items.

This is a general, as it's name says, so there are limits to what you will find. However, you also might be surprised at what is there as well! Food, gifts, every day items too!

Fabulous place. Fabulous people. Refreshing to find such great people is a cozy corner of the California coast. See my other writeup for Dillon Beach Resort.
