As a woman who doesn t know a lot about cars, I m always terrified I m going to get taken advantage of at a mechanic. These guys have always treated me great and have been very open and transparent about the work they do and their prices. They do their best to explain the work they ve done in a way I can understand. They live up to their name!Services: Brakes, Oil change

Harry provided excellent service! Picked up and dropped off my car. My car was serviced and I never had to leave work. That worked out great because of my busy schedule. I highly recommend this business.

You will always find excellent, honest, and professional service here. I've used Honest 1 Auto for about 4 years now and they guarantee their work. Among the many various services over those years, I have had oil changes, brake fluid exchange, transmission fluid exchange, starter replacement, strut replacement, etc. I trust their work and will continue to use them even though I have moved farther away now, I will drive back to this shop. It's hard to find another auto shop as trustworthy and reliable as them.Service: Brake service & repair

Great mechanics! Very professional and knowledgeable. I was so happy my car was repaired on same day and I had major repair work done and they were able to do it all in one day. Harry Sr. Was so pleasant! He explained in detail what was needed for my car. I'm very satisfied. My car runs like new again though it is 18 yrs old. I have recommended Honest 1 to my family and friends. First time visit but will not be the last time. Thank you Harry Sr. and thank you Honest 1 Auto Care

I have been getting my car repaired here for some years now. This is my go to shop. Harry and his team have made me feel like family! They are not only TRULY very honest, they are community & citizens oriented, which is very rare. I've been going to the guys over at Honest-1 Auto Care for a couple of years now and I won't be going anywhere else. After one visit, they remembered me, my car and the service they provided for me. Harry Jr. always does his best to keep the cost down on my repairs by seeing what coupons might apply to the services required. They also include pretty good coupons in the emails they send out to email subscribers. To recap, good guys, great service. What more could you ask?!

I came to Honest1 automotive repair by a recommendation. I am glad I did, the waiting room is very clean, well ventilated, and smells very nice not like other repair facilities that I have taken my cer to.Today the repair and replacement work that needs to be done cannot be done. I have decided to schedule a later time to come back and fix the items. I also like to say that the restoom is extremely clean and et to smells very nice.Why do I bring this up? A clean restroom says A LOT about the business, and the operations managers diligence to customer satisfaction.I highly highly recommend Honest 1 automotive repair facility here i. Honest One, Harry Sr., Harry Jr. & Jimmy is completely trustworthy. Countless of times they have saved us money with our family vehicles. They completely understand urgency. Harry Sr; Harry Jr; Jimmy, and crew are amazing! I was having alignment, noises, engine mount issues according to another company who quoted me an arm and a leg amount worth of work. I took my car back to Honest-1 because this automotive team are trustworthy and honest. I've known this team for almost a decade now. They figured out that I didn't need engine mounts. My car needed a tire balance...which mind you I bought a new set of tires 4th of july weekend this past year with the alignment/balance/replacement insurance from a tire company. I took it back to that company 3x - each time i came back with the same complaint that it wasn't aligned - my steering wheel had to be @ 2 o'clock to drive straight bc of that company "fixing it" but my car needed more/different repairs each time I brought it back to the tire company. The final straw was the "engine mounts needing to be replaced which was causing my alignment to go out" I called up Harry Jr.; telling him I need help with a second opinion. I had my car towed to him bc it was in bad shape when driven. Harry and his team figured out the problem, fixed it (again it was only a tire balance needed not engine mounts) and got my car back in better shape than it has been in over 2 years! I came in with my commuter car that my wife was worried about suspension wise, I was greeted by Harry JR. And Jimmy inspected my vehicle, both men were straight shooters and even told me that there was no real need for any large repair as the car was older and had almost 200K mi on it, and didn t charge me a thing. The fact they didn t try to sell me on anything and kept things straight I truly appreciate! I will be coming back here in the future for sure!

Amazing place to service your car. I've been a customer since they first opened. I take all my cars here. They never fail! Sometimes the labor is a little pricey, but it's worth the quality work they do! All my cars run amazing because of them!

I usually get great service at a fair price when I bring my vehicles here for service. I brought my car in to have my water pump replaced, it was leaking coolant. Instead of replacing my water pump, they replaced the radiator, also the price for the radiator replacement was at the high end of cost for this service. When I got home I had a coolant leak coming from the water pump, problem not fixed.

WOW ... this is the place to have your car fixed. I have a modified vehicle and two other mechanic locations could not find the problem. Harry and Jimmy, found it, fixed it ... and, kept the price well within reason. Hell of a lot cheaper than the dealer=========================================================:: UPDATE ::Problem came back ... and this time they kept the car for about 2 years and couldn't fix it. Brought in the car running. Had to pick it up on a flat bed.Harry charged me for new parts he claimed was needed - came to find out; they were not.Took my vehicle back to my original mechanic in San Diego ... fixed it within an hour. $300 out the door. I will NOT be visiting this location again.

Avoid this place! The positive feed backs are made by their friends and all are fake!I called last week for AC repair. I was given an appointment for 8 am on Saturday (today). I told them I have very limited time and I was told we will inspect the car as soon as we have the car and will tell you what is wrong and will fix it. I was on my appointment at 7:50am. He said we are busy and leave the car and I will call you about 1 hour. He said they will charge me $19.95 + Tax to just look at the car. Nobody called me after 1 hour, I called them 3 times between 9:00 to 9:15am until somebody picked up and told me we are just pulled your car in and inspecting now, I will call you shortly! Again no call back and I nobody pick up the phone at 10am. I drove to the shop and I found my car is outside the place that I left it at 8 am. when I asked him what happened and why nobody called me back the rude person said, we haven't had time and leave the car we will look at it in 1 hour. It means they even didn't look at the car, they lie to me and never anybody looked at the car. I asked why you have told me 3 times since morning that it will take 1 hour and still nobody hasn't looked at the car? The inspection takes only 10 minutes. He didn't answer my questions and very rude gave me the key.

Unfriendly and not helpful. I called early when the shop opened to get an estimate on replacing a rear headlight assembly. Henry ( I believe, not sure.) Wasn't able to call in the part price probably bc he was too busy. Perfectly understandable. I left my number. I came directly to the shop 3 hours later bc I was in the area. Same guys response was "you the guy that called earlier? I don't have that estimate." He seemed irritated I came in person and didn't offer a time frame. I guess they don't need my business. That's the last time I take my car there. Usually they're friendly and have good prices.

The most dishonest place you can find!Go to this auto care if you have extra money and don't care about your car. They easily change the parts instead of fixing a small problem like changing a fuse and charge you hundreds of $$$ for nothing (because they are not experts). I was there for just inspection of my care I lost 4 hours and they couldn't even tell me what is wrong with my car. Finally, I was told, a part of engine needs to be replace for $850. It will take 3-4 days to be fixed!I couldn't leave the car. They charged me $54 just for their wrong diagnosis, I went to other shop, my car was inspected in 10 minutes and fixed in 5 minutes. Just the fuse was replaced. I was charged for $15.Save your time and money, be far from this shop

They always take very good care of me here. Getting my car fixed for some reason or another is stressful because it messes up my entire day but when I bring my car into Honest 1 Auto, the stress just melts away. I wouldn't trust my car with anyone else. Thank you Harry and Harry for always taking good care of me!

my experience at Honest-1 Auto Care was 1st Rate all the way, they fixed a problem for me i thought was going to be a lot of money but it wasn't at all. fixed it for nothing. Had them check out belts, Brakes a wiper,.gave me an oil change and Fixed a turn signal lite for free. Everything was fine They charged me just for the oil change, Originally I was there not long b4 closeing so i left the car. took me home, called in morning.picked me up, they did a Great job with honesty, and More, Thanks to All there, Charles Kirk

I've always taken my car to the dealership to get fixed. Months ago, I moved to the Phillips Ranch area. I needed to get my battery checked, and Harry was accommodating. Rather than charge me for a new battery (which he could have quickly done, and I wouldn't have been any wiser), he found out that my battery was under warranty and called around to find a dealership who could take my car that day. I knew then, I could trust him with my vehicle. Fast forward to August 18, 2018; I brought my car back to Harry after being told by a representative at Pep Boys that I needed new breaks after visually inspecting the breaks on my car because I was at a .4 and they require a .5 to give a Passing grade for Lyft drivers. I promptly said no thanks and brought my car to Harry. Harry took the time to thoroughly check my breaks (which do not need replacing right now) and inspected my car for Lyft. If you're looking for a trustworthy place to have your vehicle serviced, look no further, the service here lives up to the name of the business!

They take good care of my car here. Harry is the owner let him know Kevin sent you there! Excellent service, clean place, wifi to work while you wait, coffee/water, and affordable pricing! I drive Uber and Lyft so my car needs to be checked often and running smooth oil changes, breaks, ac, tire rotation etc.

I would be lost (and quite literally) and stranded without this place. Harry & Harry Jr are great -- all of the mechanics here genuinely care about their customers and the work they do. They take their time to explain what's going on and in a way that makes sense to people like me; cars & parts to me are complete rocket science. I never want to go anywhere else!

This review comes from Dave Gimbi - Diamond Bar, CAHarry and Jr. are the best around. And hopefully Honest -1 corporation realizes this. Very fair and open to rationalize in proper order what your car needs. My 2006 Honda has 180,000 and my 2008 Chrysler has 111,000 miles. He also now works on my fianc�e's car with 150,000 miles who brings her car from Long Beach. So pretty obvious, I think the world of this father / son team.

Very respectful staff, actually went out of their way to point out that my splash guard was broken and down and brought me back to show me how he could try to fix it himself. I offered to pay him extra and he insisted he couldn t charge me and asked for a very reasonable price for an oil change. Also went out of his way to explain my oil filter and how it works. Had a great visit would absolutely come here again.
