Things have definitely sped up here the past few years I've been coming here. Passed my driver's test here. 98% because I got doc'd for slow acceleration & slow turning

Worst DMV. Stay away from this place. All the workers are so grouchy. Can t ask a question because it bothers them. These people act like their poop don t stink.

If I could give a star 0 because they take so long the lines really annoys me a lot specially when ur just standing there for an hours makes me want to leave there in no time. Also the behind the wheels the guy there is so rude when it comes to driving he isn t nice at all I recommend going to Bakersfield better .. so o stars.

It was long line, but when I got up to my turn the lady new I was hurting so she let me stay inside to sit down. She offered me water and a more comfortable chair. Then she took it upon herself to get me a quicker number.everything was good until I got to the paper for my disableity plaque they have a kneq version so want I had that I paid ten dollars for ( the doctors signature) wasn't any good . So I dropped the form off at my Dr. I told them I had to leave because my back was in a lot of pain, I would pick it up tomorrow.

Nice friendly people,very helpful,and hardly any line to wait in,like two people ahead of me.The 30 min. drive was worth the ten min. visit.Parking was close and spaces available.Thumbs up.

Sadly Lead Robert is disrespectful. Robert is very rude to customers and high strung always rolling eyes and his demeanor is tasteless. There is a young male who was helping on window #7 on 6/8/2021 and rushing customers. His lack of empathy to the elderly is nasty. The female manager was called and she didn't help. Terrible service.

Not from Delano but just stopped last min. Because I wouldn't have made it on time to my local branch.Fast and the receptionist we're very nice and easy on the eyes.... would return any day.

I was quite surprised at how nice and fast the service was here. Chose this location over Bakersfield due to the hours of wait time(with an appointment). Best way to have a quick experience is to not only make an appointment, but look online for necessary paperwork needed before you arrive. Most people that got upset while I was there were people that did not have any paperwork to support what they needed and tried to make it the DMV's fault.

Best and quickest DMV experience to date! I arrived 15 minutes before they opened for the day and was the 5th person in line. I was very surprised to see an employee come out to greet customers and ask what needed to accomplish today...before they were officially open. She brought people in to complete online applications or brought out clip boards with the paperwork, again BEFORE the DMV was officially open! Now that s customer service! I was out of there by 8:15am, with no appointment! I will return to this location in the future!

Only because I couldn't give them negative rating Stars. if you thought they were bad before they're milking this pandemic thing now. Oh and by the way you need to do your thing online first. They'll try to tell you ,you need to go and do that first we stayed in line and filled it out on our phones.

They tried to charge me an extra $700 because they didn't know how to do their job. I asked questions and they told me to leave. Go to portevile instead. Extremely rude lazy slow mouth breathing employees

The chubby guy with the glasses is supper Rude and a lady that works there as well supper rude if your not happy doing your job then look for a better one no need to be rude try smiling to the people that goes do there things your life will get better god bless you!

It was horrible, the people that work there have a very rude and ugly attitudes. I had ask the personal some quick questions, yes they answered my questions, but with an attitude. My recommendation to whomever has has business at the dvm, its better to do your business online through their website. That way you avoid the lines, the attitude, and covid. And at some point when everyone uses dmv online, the dmv office starts getting slow and start laying off all of those rude, lazy people. God bless

I had to drive from Shafter DMV to get help, that is a 30 to 40 minute drive. The staff at Delano DMV is great. They have nice, helpful and the guide you on what you need to do.

I went there several times with no appointment and was out of there in no time. Just make sure you have all your documents ready and you should be good to go. Staff was friendly and helpful to me.

This is the best DMV that I have been to in all the years I have gone. I have tried all the offices in Kern Co. and I must say that this office sets the standard. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was not stressful at all. For a DMV office, it was a breath of fresh air. I only wish the other offices were like this one. From the receptionist who helped me all the way to a Lady named Lucy that I worked with, all were fantastic. I live in Bakersfield but if I have to go in again I will drive to Delano just so I can have great service again. Thanks Delano DMV! Keep up the great work!

Unless you made an appointment expect to wait an hour or more. A couple of the people are rude and can not answer a question outside of what the piece of paper tells them. If you have an issue they don't even try to figure it out they just repeat what the paper says. If it says get a smog *just do the smog* it deosn't matter that you went to 5 different smog shops and your vehicles vin is not pulling up. If your vehicle is not coming up as insured even though it is and you already triple checked with your insurance *get insurance*. If you change your address twice online and twice by mail and they still did not update your new address. *you must have did something wrong* some how their end is infallible.

I am very satisfied with the service.Drove from Bakersfield to Delano, had an appointment at 10:10, was seen at 10:15. The staff is friendly and they resolved my problem. When I need to go to the dmv I will for sure always drive to Delano.

The staff here doesn't even know how to help a international student with the driver license. When I went to renew my drivers license one of the staff said that my I-94 has the last entry of 2014, so they can't accept my application, that makes no sense. I have a valid passport, visa and an I-20 that's what are the documents needs to be checked. Had an old entry doesn't even matters as long as you are in valid status and staying in the US legally. So, finally my application got approved at bell garden DMV.

This is my 4th time in the past month at this useless dmv and I still have to go back after I call a phone number that the dmv gave me to fix my registration.You shouldn t have to call any phone number or contact any third party when dealing with things in regards to registration, drivers license, insurance.You should be able to get all of your department of motor vehicle issues fixed at the department of motor vehicles

Wow had an appointment but yet they where helping people with out y do they encourage people to get an appointment. Then they have really nasty attitudes were sorry that we dont work there that they have the privilege to know all the driving laws that come out really bad experience shafter dmv i recommend cuz they know customer service because like or not we still customers

Two stars because is not busy but management sucks, I went there to register my vehicle, I need to mention I didn't get my notice in the mail, so this people charge me 350 and after my card was charged they said I need smog on my diesel truck, which is not true as it was smog last year, I had to write a statement pretty much saying that truck was smog last year. Apparently California dmv doesn't care to look at records or keep records for that matter.But it's ok for them to help all the non English speaking non licensed people that live in Delano.
