Service was quick and easy, done in less than 30 minutes and then called me to pick up at my convenience. Chad was especially helpful with some at-home easy and cheap tips for some deferred vehicle maintenance

This is quite simply the best smog station in San Diego County. Today, I got my car smogged there and it was fast, efficient and completely painless. (And the price was unbelievably reasonable!) But the highlight was the technician. Chad was helpful and efficient, but what was more impressive is that he took the time to actually look at the car and inspect it and pointed out to me that some critter has eaten away some of the firewall, so I could take care of it. He showed me the damage and gave me instructions on how to prevent it happening any further. He did not have to take the time to do that, but he did. Now THAT is service! If he cared enough to do that, you know he cares enough to go above and beyond. Thank you, KM Test!!! You have my business for as long as I need it.

Took my car for a smog test. Chad took care of everything and I was in and out in 15 minutes. He was pleasant and took good care of the car. It has to be the best place in town!

This is the fastest and most reliable smog check station. Great service and they are "STAR" certified. I found this place near my local AAA office where I go to reregister my vehicle. I have been a repeat customer for many years and I happily recommend this station.

Called earlier today to see when they can take the last smog test for the day since I needed to get one done after work and they re open til 7pm. Was told he d like to take the last one around 6:15. I arrive at 6:18, took 25 mins tj get there with all the afternoon traffic. I was told he couldn t do it. It takes 20-30 mins to do a smog check, 1 guy working, no cars in the bays. Rather just reject work and close early? Blows my mind how lazy people are.

The best customer service experience you'll ever find, when it comes to Smog Check your vehicle. Rod is an amazing person. High quality people like him are really hard to find. Remember if you got a permanent code. You have to complete all monitors or have all monitors ready. After that you have to drive 200 miles and you have to complete 15 warm ups without triggering the Check Engine light.

Convenient, clean waiting/bay area and friendly. AAA $10 discount or print out online. Walk or a short drive to AAA and get your registration tags the same day.

I ve used this place in the past for smog tests but the past two times the person conducting the tests was extremely rude. It was as if he didn t want my business. Everyone has a bad day every so often but you shouldn t take it out on the customer. I won t return to this place.

I just ran over there to fill my tires and CONRAD WAS AMAZING! He was willing to help me with my one tire and filled up all four just to be safe. I truly appreciated Conrad taking the time to help me and went above and beyond. Thank you Conrad!!

Recommended highly by my trusted mechanics of more than 15 years, this test only smog station is run by honest, efficient, friendly "good people". They don't require appointments, I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Highly recommend!

Just had a terrible experience. Avoid this place at all costs. I arrived at 8:30 am because they supposedly open at 8:00 am. I had even called the day before and they told me the best time to go was at 8:00 because it is the least busy. When I got there today I was surprised that they were closed. A few minutes later a guy in a Harley arrives and looks at me as if I was in his way. I ask him if he was the owner and he said rudely that he just worked there. I asked him if they actually open at 8 and he said they did but that he lives far away and there is traffic so he usually gets there late. I asked him why don't they just say that when you call and he started getting defensive and aggressive to the point that he insulted me and actually physically threatened me when I told him he should wake up earlier if he knew he had to open at 8. He obviously did not like me saying that and went berserk.

Great place for test only smog. I arrived when they opened at 8am and was the first customer. I chose this location since it was close to work. I was finished and on my way in less than 30 minutes. Now that it efficient.

Needed a smog check. Called Debbie at KM, who was very helpful answering my questions. Showed up at 9 am and only one person ahead of me who was completed quickly. Jim was very prompt in completing the testing and I was finished in about 15 minutes (max). Although he didn't have to do this, he called me over to show me some indications that animals (rats) were trying to make a home in my engine compartment and offered some suggestions on how to avoid that. I'm sold...great customer service all around. Use them...I've already told my two sons in the area about KM.

Rod does my smogs for all three of my vehicles. Super fast & knowledgeable ! Its clean & comfortable there if you do have to wait 5 or 10 minutes. And that is because other peeps want theirs done also .Plus... the Tripple A -DMV is next door. How much easier is this !!!YAAAYYY !

Never heard of it, went because it was close by. Very convenient, took me immediately as a walk-in, and friendly staff made the 10 minute wait seem like nothing. It's right next to the AAA too, if you get your car registration done through them. Highly recommend for smog checks!

Always open for gas. Safe station at night. Window squeegees don't streak. Plus... You can't see much inside but have always had what I needed for years. Will help if asked. very nice snd polite. May be a couple cents more but worth the 5 cents !

Worst ever. Guy with an attitude. I walked in at 4.20 pm and he said he couldn't take me because he was busy with one car and he would be done by closing time. When I asked at what time I needed to get there to be serviced he answered "between 9 and 5". I come to Mira Mesa straight from there, I arrive at 4.47 pm and they get the test done, they too close at 5 pm. Ummm I wonder what makes the difference here .....Shame on you.
