Del Mar Car Care is an excellent provider of service and it is priced properly. They give you an honest assessment of only what needs to be done. This is a much better option than the dealer servicing. Will do any model. Will schedule shuttle service.

Shaun and Bill are awesome, personable, professionals with a delightful admin- who will take your initial call, drive you if necessary to or from your home. Del Mar Car Care has knowledgeable mechanics. They are caring individuals, who will assess your vehicle in a timely manner, do the repairs at a reasonable cost in a friendly atmosphere. I recommend Del Mar Car Care to anyone who's looking for quality work by an established business (a pillar in our community).I've been a patron for over 10 years.

I always get great results and the best service with Bill over at Del Mar car care. He takes care of two of my Mercedes and I just sent my son to him with his Toyota. My son was very happy with their service, and everything is up to snuff with his Toyota that he received from 99-year-old grandfather. Try them out. I think you ll be very happy with the service just calll in advance to get an appointment As they are very busy. But always willing to help.

If you are like me, you understand the English lanugage perfectly, but you don't understand what those words mean when applied to a car. So, if you need an auto-mechanic who you can trust to be honest and do quality work, then Del Mar Care Care is the place to bring your car.In summary, I have worked three times now with Shuan, the general manager. DMCC has algined new tires and replaced/repaired bushings, oil pan, gaskets, valve cover, caps, hoses, timing belt, water pump, radiator, etc. Shaun takes the time to walk you through everything that might need to be done to repair your car (even if you are just looking at him and nodding like a bobble-head), gives you a written estimate, tells you that he is happy to talk to whomever you would like him to talk to and later, walks you through everything that actually was done to your car. You leave with a detailed invoice for your records and a car that runs like new.Pros:DMCC management and staff are all very friendly.DMCC mechanics are knowledgeable and skilled.DMCC has Honda-certified mechanics and uses OEM parts.DMCC work done comes with a warranty.DMCC offers a 15% discount for Costco members.DMCC has a complimentary shuttle service. (The only car place in a 50 mile radius of me who does.)DMCC is in a great location. You can wait in the clean office or walk to the beach.DMCC uses email in addition to phone for easier communication. (Shaun replied to my very first email inquiry within 5 minutes versus I never heard back from other places I initially contacted.)Cons:DMCC is not open on weekends.

I was recommended to Del Mar Care Care for my high end suspension installation. Shaun was Awesome! He handled the ordering of my Carli System and it is awesome! Now they are now handling my bumper, winch, lights and electrical power management. This is a one stop shop and I highly recommend Del Mar Car Care!

I love Del Mar Car Care! The owner is charming and intelligent, he gave me great advice about my car. Location location location! I dropped my car off walked down to the beach, it was a beautiful sunny day and by the time I walked back my car was ready. I highly recommend Del Mar car care for the location and they did an excellent job on my car.

I have been going to DMCC for over10 years. They are honest, reliable, professional, and courteous. The workmanship is 100%. Price quotes are much lower than at a dealership. The waiting room is comfortable. I would not take my BMW anywhere else

These guys are extremely friendly and professional. I pulled in after my car started making a terrible screeching noise on my way home and after hearing it themselves, they immediately took the car to the lift. It turns out I just had a rock lodged in my backing plate and they were able to dislodge the rock within 5 minutes.I would absolutely recommend this shop to anybody in the area, I will be returning for all future car maintenance just because of how great they treated me. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS!!!I was taking both of my cars to Del Mar Car Care for years but recently realized Sean, the owner, had been lying to me and telling me issues with both of my cars that were not true.- Told me I needed new roaders and new axil on one of my cars. I took it to 2 other car repair shops and they said the brake pads needed changing but roaders were fine. Nothin was wrong with the axil.- On my Porsche, Sean told be I'd need new roaders as well as brake pads the next time I brought it in. He informed me this would cost me thousands of dollars. I brought the car into the dealership and they informed me the roaders were fine. No need to be replaced.I was shocked by Sean's attempt at trying to overcharge and take advantage of me.Services: Transmission, Auto brake repair, Engine repair, Oil change

The guys at DCC at as professional as the people I do surgery with in the hospital and have a knowledge base in their chosen field that is A+ rated. Their work is not cheap, don t expect it to be. Their work is done correctly, by American hands, American business, God-fearing, good people. Outstanding service and outstanding honesty, Del Mar Car Care is a full-service place that you can trust. Everyone was cordial and pleasant and the work was done and my car back to me in no time at all. They were highly recommended to me by a couple of other car related businesses, who independently told me that they were "good folks" and always did a fantastic job. I found both to be true. Shaun and his crew do a outstanding friendly professional job!Shaun listens to what you are trying to do, or need, and with his excellent Jeep, Off Road knowledge explains how it can be done and offers any positive suggestions.Shaun and his crew will accomplish the work in a very detailed professional timely manner, keep you informed with the status,and if they find something along the way that needs fixed or corrected, they will fix it.Once work is done, Shaun will walk you through the work accomplished and answer all questions.Shaun and his Del Mar Care do care about what they are doing,Shaun and his crew are very patient in explaining everything in a very good friendly manner.Del Mar Car Care is the go to for all things off road, upgrades, and Jeep.Now that I have found Del Mar Care, I would not take my Jeep anywhere else.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

I've used Del Mar Car Care a couple of times (pre & during pandemic). I have been very happy with them both times. I've felt the job they did was as good, if not better, than the work I've had done at the dealership (and it's much closer!). I was especially pleased with how well they are protecting their employees and customers during this pandemic. I felt very safe at both drop-off & pick-up and didn't have to go inside for either or even meet in person at any point.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

I trust Shaun and his crew at Del Mar Care Care with all of my cars' needs, big and small. They are honest about "must repair immediately" versus "good idea to repair soon" when money is tight. The cost is not inflated because there is a great ocean view and my daughter's are always mentored about the responsibilities of car ownership and care in nurturing ways when they take their car in for service.

Silly me... normally go the the Ford Dealer (and pay BIG bucks). Decided to try Del Mar Car Care for my critical A/C situation. 5 Stars on every aspect of their services!... including 5 Star pricing....saving 35% on what the Ford Dealer would have charged me! (oh, and they have a 5 Star location.... view of Torrey Pines St Beach!) Thanks guys.... you now have a new long term customer!Service: A/C installation & repair

I bought a 2011 Mercedes GL450 about 6 months ago. The red battery light came on recently. I also needed an oil change. DMCC ran diagnostics. I needed a new alternator. They also replaced the air filters, which on this particular vehicle is more involved than normal (which is why I had them do it). They also advised me of several other maintenance items that needed attending to. Everything they did and pointed out was right on point. And while I ended up doing much of the work myself, I found everything they pointed out was correct. You can really trust these guys and, while they aren't inexpensive, their work is top notch. They are definitely my go-to mechanics. It sometimes takes a while to get an appointment. But there is a good reason for that.They also service my other vehicle - an Audi S5 - and their work is always top-notch.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Great, honest service at Del Mar Car Care. They are not the cheapest but I trust their recommendations. "Cheap" can be more expensive in the long run (short run as well, if what you are paying for was not needed or poorly performed). VERY NICE PEOPLE AT DEL MAR CAR CARE.
