After my mother s Subaru failed one too many times, she decided she was going to replace her vehicle with a Toyota. After a few days of researching which vehicle she liked, she narrowed it down to a Toyota Grand Highlander. We started our search for the perfect color and trim, and found that three Toyota's in the Bay Area had the exact model. Toyota Hanlees in Davis was our second stop, and our last! Because we had called in advance to confirm they had the vehicle in stock, the vehicle was parked in front and waiting for us at the entrance of the lobby. Our very first interaction was with Jimmy, who is beyond amiable, kind, and was enthusiastic to show us the vehicle. The interaction was very casual and relaxed from the beginning, and we felt no pressure to buy the vehicle. But once my mom knew this was the vehicle she wanted? We got to business and discussed pricing and also the value of the vehicle we were trading in. The whole negotiation process was smooth and not at all stressful. Our salesperson Raymundo was amazing! Respectful, engaging, and the fact that he is bilingual made it easier to explain things to my parents. The trade-in value of the vehicle was also great. The entire experience was wonderful. We felt respected and valued as customers from the moment we walked in. First time ever feeling this way when purchasing a new vehicle. Now it s my turn to share my very own buying experience. After witnessing what an amazing experience it was for her, and also having wanted my dream vehicle since I was in high school I decided to take the plunge and finally purchase my baby! Because of the rapport I had made with the sales personnel through my mother s shopping experience, they all knew that I was interested in the 4Runner. And, that very morning they had received through delivery the one model I had been wanting for years. Jimmy was my initial point of contact, and he is just so sweet and kind and more than willing to help. This time, my salesperson was Leith. I am truly lucky to have met him and also dealt with him through this process. Great communicator, respectful, and thorough with his explanations, the negotiation process was smooth; leaving me confident that I was making the right move purchasing my dream vehicle through them. Peter was my financial rep, and love him! Truly grateful that my family and I made business with them. I cannot recommend them AND Toyotas enough!

I really don't recommend it. I especially don t recommend the Russian-speaking manager Peter. result: the car increased in price while I was driving by more than 3 thousand. from 10400 to 13700. 4 hard requests on my history. The car is clean, but it's all scratched and there are traces of an accident. loan at 28.9%. After completing the deal, it turned out that they couldn t sell me the car without buying a warranty for the engine and transmission. That s another 2,700 for 30,000 miles. The seller knew that I had a hopeless situation. out of my 4 thousand down payment, 1 thousand is indicated in the documents. the rest was spent on decoration and, as Pert himself put it, we also need to eat something.

We lost a car key and Hanlee s quickly scheduled an appointment to replace it. The paperwork and deposit were easily done. The scheduled repair took about 90min including the programming of our Rav4 H.

I was not intending to buy when I went, but Scott Nininy suggested a car that met my criteria much better, and that I hadn t been aware of, with a price that I could agree to. It made sense so I bought it that day, and Hanlee s entire staff has continued to be super helpful and attentive to my after-sale questions. I couldn t be happier with my experience.

Great customer service from start to finish. I was looking for a 4 Runner TRD Pro. They had one in stock. Glad to have met Scott. He reached out to me right away when I inquired. The process was effortless. If I need something, all I have to do is text him.

Trust Hanlees Toyota service department. They have your back.Seth from Hanlees Toyota service department was outstanding in his customer service. He was incredibly helpful with my recent car repair. He had excellent suggestions as to how to save me money. He worked quickly with my insurance company to get my car repaired. Once the insurance approved repairs, Seth worked diligently to get my car back to me in record time. Seth was very patient with me and answered all my questions. I am new to town and wasn t sure where to take my car. After my wonderful experience with Seth, I would highly recommend the service department at Hanlees Toyota. I know I will be taking my car here again. Thank you Seth you made my car repair easy and stress-free.

These negative reviews must come from competitors because I've had nothing but great experiences here. Most recently, a 7:15 am. appointment for a 25k service for my car. I showed up 10 minutes early and was promptly checked in. The car was finished in an hour and 15 minutes. Thank you, Sean, in service for another great service experience.

Hanless Davis Toyota has been my dealership for 20+ Years. What I most like about them is that they have a really well put together staff and are really friendly. Also, they are fast but efficient when it comes to stuff like paperwork and car maintenance which usually takes a good amount of the day.

I went to get brakes replaced on a car. For the service work! Then the review is on the technician and this was fine. The customer service with the advisors was sub par beware they treat you like a waste of their time and not like you are paying a cost premium.. if you go to the dealership then you obviously know that you are I won t name the service advisor but management keeps them employed so it must be from the top down. I won t go back there from my experience. Pick a different location for service work it has been on more than one occasion this had happened to me. Never again thx

Took in my Camry to get the wiper blades replaced. The service worker Moe starts telling me I need to get the 120k mile maintenance service and then quotes it at $1,700. Being the skeptic I am (especially for a price that high), I called the Toyota in Sacramento to see what they charged and they said that the minimum service for 120k was $600 and the high end was $1,300. A difference of $400-$1,100 (this person didn t even tell me about the different service levels, probably just wanted to sell me the most expensive one with a little extra things added for his commission check).

Scott was great and a pleasure to deal with. He helped is with our trade in and got us in our new suv. We loved that he was straight forward and not once used high pressure sales tactics like other places we went too. 10/10 would do business with Scott and Hanlees toyota again.

We took our car to Hanlees Toyota in Davis. The customer service updates were poor. They had our car for 14 days "waiting" for the insurance to respond but never told us the work was not progressing. When we finally had the car returned to us, we were missing items out of the car (work boots & medic kit) that we can figure out, the whole car had been gone threw and emergency bags unzipped and gone through, things taken out of center console, and a sentimental/limited edition key chain was gone from the key fob. I didn't know I needed to inventory my car before I dropped it off at the dealership.

This place is super shady avoid at all cost. I wanted to buy a new Grand Highlander with 30k pre-approval from Golden 1 and pay the remainder cashBasically buy the car outright. salesman says I can only buy from them if I finance through Toyota finance which seems super suspicious to me. Buyer beware!!!!

Came out to this dealership to hopefully purchase a car. Spent 15 to 20 minutes on the lot looking at cars, and not a soul came out to talk to me and my son. If you're a dealership, I would think you would want your inventory to be sold instead, I was I just walked all over the lot looking at all the cars and nobody came out to talk to me or introduce themselves to me. I know now I will not be buying a car from here if you can't acknowledge a customer. I ended up going across the street. They were amazing, very helpful!!!!

Subject: Extremely Dissatisfied with Hanley's Toyota: Unprofessionalism and NegligenceI hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I have received from Hanley's Toyota. I am compelled to share my unfortunate experiences with your dealership, as I believe it is essential for you to be aware of the unprofessionalism and negligence I have encountered as a customer.Firstly, I must highlight the appalling customer service I received during my recent visit for an oil change. To my disbelief, I discovered that my Toyota had been taken to the neighboring Nissan dealership for servicing. When I approached your representatives to inquire about this irregularity, I was met with condescension and a dismissive attitude. One of your representatives, who was wearing a Desert Storm veterans hat, resorted to aggressive behavior by shouting in my face and making threats. This behavior is not only unbecoming of a professional, but it is also entirely unacceptable when dealing with customers.Regrettably, this incident was not an isolated one. I returned to Hanley's Toyota on another occasion due to abnormal engine performance. Instead of effectively diagnosing and resolving the issue, I endured over a month of unnecessary delays and subpar repairs. To make matters worse, upon receiving my vehicle, I discovered that only certain components of the engine were replaced, leaving me with a vehicle that is not functioning as it should. It is disheartening to have a vehicle that is in a worse condition than it was when I initially purchased it.In addition to the inadequate service, I have been experiencing significant challenges in communication with your dealership. I have been in contact with both a lady and a gentleman regarding an ongoing investigation into the malicious change of my email address. However, despite assurances that a thorough investigation would be conducted, I have not received any updates or resolution after more than two months. The lack of follow-up and accountability is deeply disappointing and reflects poorly on Hanley's Toyota as a reputable establishment.I feel compelled to share my experience with others to prevent them from enduring similar frustrations. As a result, I will be informing my friends, family, and acquaintances about my negative encounters at Hanley's Toyota. I believe it is only fair for potential customers to be aware of the unprofessionalism, negligence, and inadequate service that they may encounter. In conclusion, I urge you to take immediate action to rectify these issues. It is crucial that you address the unprofessional behavior of your staff, improve the quality of service provided, and ensure effective communication with your customers. I sincerely hope that my concerns are taken seriously and that appropriate measures are implemented to prevent other customers from experiencing the same level of dissatisfaction.Yours sincerely,Dissatisfied customer

Jorge Sevilla was my service advisor on 12/31/23. I always receive excellent feedback and the right advice what my car needs nothing less nothing more. Since I have met him I have been bringing my Toyota Camry for service to Hanlees in Davis since 2016 eventhough I live in Vacaville. I am so appreciative of Jorge for having my car serviced well to run fine even after 275K miles without any major breakdowns.

Even though I made a service appointment, my car was not ready as promised. Priority was given to walk-ins without an appointment who waited. This has happened twice

Updated review. Been going here for 4 years, they do a good job with my car but I wish they were faster things always take a very long time here. But nice thing is that they provide free shuttle back to your home if you live in the area and free pickup. I do recommend overall but wish theybwere faster. Even regular tire rotation with appointment will take 2/3 hours.

Sales rep was so rude. I can't believe how disrespectful he was, and he didn't help all. I had to tolerate his rudeness for nothing. (01/26/2024)

We had our 09 Camry Hybrid towed here with the VSC light on as well as ABS lights. The car was starting weird and basically had no brakes. Wasn't sure what it was so figured let's let the experts take care of it. We were called later that day and told that we needed to replace the ABS module to the tune of $3,600. We decided against fixing it at the moment as that's a lot to spend on a car with 248k miles and is 14 years old. My wife stopped in to pay the $205 diagnostic fee and get it towed back to our house. The tow truck driver noted that the voltage on the 12v battery was dropping when he went to start the car. The 12v battery doesn't actually start the engine, however it runs the all of the electronics. While all this was happening a different service writer then the one who wrote us up was asking what we were going to do with it and saying he'll buy it right now as is. Just kept saying let me know. Ill pay cash and buy it as is. The tow truck driver mentioned that this all sounds like they're trying to scam us. Once home I'd purchased a better car scanner and scanned the active codes. All of them came up to being set when the voltage to the ABS module drops below 9v. So I bought a battery load tester and tested the battery. Low and behold voltage was dropping to 7v while trying to start the car. Replaced the battery cleared all the codes car is back to its old self. So I guess let that be a lesson to us to never visit them again as it appears they were trying to rip us off in more than one way. If they weren't they have awful techs that can't follow a diag tree. This is why people don't trust dealers. Out $205 for nothing from them. Will make sure I tell everyone I know never to come here.

Waiting area is clean and spacious. Car always gets done on time when they say it will. Average is 1.5 hours. Be realistic about how long it takes a dealership with 100+ cars a day to get your oil change done and you wont get your feelings hurt.** to the other reviewer Robert Starkston, you upset because they didnt "woo" you? Its not a date, its an oil change Lol. And you wanna drive to Sac or Vacaville? those places are way worst.
