I bought a Tesla here two months ago and it was a pretty good experience. When I walked in, they don t have Tesla inventories yet, but they re willing to help me find one with good quality. They rarely do EV car research but they spent a lot of time looking for Model Y and finally I got the car within my expectations and even with a cheaper price.This auto dealership has a good working atmosphere and I really enjoyed the conversation with them, the shop is clean and well organized as well.Overall, it is a good choice for used cars purchase, they are the guys who are doing things that are truly beneficial for the customers. Please note that it is strongly encouraged to check the dealer s policies.

I recently purchased a 2018 Volt from City Auto. The price was excellent and the vehicle was exactly as represented. I am an out of state buyer and needed to do the transaction by phone and email. I also had to trust that everything would be handled without being able to be around. The process was painless and very quick.I would highly recommend them and will buy again if the opportunity arises again.

Can't really recommend this place, it is your stereotypical shady run down independent dealership. The transaction went well overall and we came to a fair deal, but they covered up a large crack in the front windshield with a dealer sticker and withheld that they only had one keyfob for the vehicle. To hide a window crack with a sticker was a slimy move.

The vehicle we test drove reeked of cigarette smoke. I mentioned that the previous owner was a smoker and the sales person tried to convince me it was the odor of detailing chemicals. The car pulled to the left, the braking was spongy and uneven, and the electric windows were funky. From the driver's controls the back windows went down but not up. Not impressed at all!

Bought a used car at City Auto Center. What l liked about the experience is that neither Sam nor Mike are "pushy sales people" which seems rare in this business. The process was also quite efficient as far as paper work, DMV registration etc goes, which is also a plus. I'd consider this dealer in the future

Amazing Experience! I am very happy to say I got the car that I wanted at a great price, all thanks to Sam! Sam worked really hard to make sure that I d not only drive off with the car in the same day, but buy it at a great price. He did a really great job at finding financing for me to get this car. He really went into detail about the car s history and all the finance paperwork. He s unlike any pushy salesman that just wants to give you keys and sign some papers. He s truly a great salesman who wants the customer to be happy! He also threw in a free car detail after the purchase! Overall, Sam was really nice, honest, professional and will truly go above and beyond to help a customer! I d definitely recommend to go this dealership and to also see him if you want to be taken care of!

My first interaction with City Auto was with Mike who was a very responsive, honest, and kind, every time I communicated with him. He kept it personal and friendly and did his best to try to get me in touch with his boss, Sam. Sam was similarly great at keeping it personal and made the process very easy. He is a very fair businessman and his personality is evident in his business and staff. As a customer I felt like I got the best product, at the best price, with the best service possible to fit in my budget. I highly recommend coming here for very good deals on cars, I think they have the most competitive pricing in all of the Sacramento and Davis area. You will definitely pay less and be given great customer service long after the purchase. Super happy with my 328i.

Best experience I have had when purchasing a car before and after. Mike was great throughout the purchasing processes, but Sam really helped after I took my car home. I had an issue with my AC and instead of being like most dealers that act like once it's out their dealership they can't do anything for you, he did. They really try to work with you and are loyal to their customers, which is key. I will be returning in the future, but for now I will recommend people in search for a car to go to CITY AUTO CENTER. I am very happy with my car, thank you.

I had a positive experience purchasing a car from City Auto. The price was fair, the car matched the website listing (I appreciate the readily available Carfax report), and Ramsey and Sam were incredibly nice. Moreover, it was clear to me that it wasn't going to be one of those instances where the seller/dealer was withholding information, as both were upfront and professional about everything. If you're in the market for a car, I definitely recommend checking this place out.

I have spoke with Mr. Sam and he was really nice. He had me test drive the car i wanted and he help me out the best way he could. I highly recommend this dealership. Very professional and they know how to take care of their customer. About 5 months had past and i needed a tire rotation. I ve called Mr. Sam and told him about the issue and right from there, he solve the issue and i was very satisfied with the service him and his team has given to a customer like me. 5 stars!!!

Bought my first car from here the other day at their Davis location. So glad that I found out they had a location in Davis. I wasn t really set on buying a car until I found the one I wanted here. The owner Sam was really nice and helpful. They have super fast friendly customer service. I was contacted back about my car interest within no time! They truly showed that they cared and that s what I loved the most. Great customer service.I had no hesitations whatsoever about purchasing a car from here. I would definitely buy from here again and recommend all my friends and family =)

For a car buying experience, I could not have asked for better. Sam was friendly, honest, and at no point was there any hounding or pressure to buy. He gave me a great deal that I could not match after hours of research. It is a small, privately-owned dealership, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend checking them out for a great auto buying experience!

I saw a good deal on a 2017 Kia Niro there and I had never heard of City Auto Center, but I went to check it out, and the team there was 100% transparent and very professional. They showed me the Carfax, and did a lot better on financing than what I was offered online and saved me a good chunk of money, which I m thankful for. I also appreciate that I was in and out in a reasonable time, and am very happy with my purchase and experience. Highly recommended!

I had a pretty good experience with them purchasing a car several weeks ago. The salesman was laid back and not pushy, they had a pretty good selection of used cars, most of them were fairly new. The car i ended up purchasing through them was in great shape at a fair price with low miles.

Excellent Service and Excellent Experience! We were not looking forward to shopping for a used car and dealing with pushy sales people. We had no worries at City Auto Center - Mike was amazing and did a great job of helping us find what we wanted without trying to sway us in any direction. We will go back again when we need to buy another car in the future.

I was pleasantly surprised by the customer service here. I came back here multiple times as I was deciding between a few cars. Mike was great in helping me pick and I didn't feel rushed or pressured as I made my decision. When it came time to purchase everything went smoothly and quickly. They drove the car to a mechanic of my choice for a pre-purchase check and even let me test drive the car on my own. Very happy with my purchase and haven't had any problems yet.

Stopped by for a test drive after finding a car on a 3rd party car purchasing platform. Once there the salesman, Sam, didn't try to upsell and the contract drafted was identical to what I was expecting, even a few hundred dollars less! Only crummy part was that when I came to pick the car up the gas tank was at less than 1/4. Back in my days filling up the tank was the norm but no biggie

Absolute worst place I've ever dealt with in my years of sales experience. My wife, daughter and I were completely in shock to hear they sold the car out from under us. We have everthing set up and done Including paperwork, contract, date of pick up and text and all to verify it. We got totally blindsided. In my 24 years of sales experience I've never dealt with someone or something like this. This is completely bad business practices and flat out wrong. I would never recommend a place this shaddy ever.

Came here today on a whim because my wife wanted to look at this particular car she saw in their inventory. She saw it in person and fell in love with it, perfect size for our 2 children. We were helped by Mike. I'll tell you, he made the entire process so calm and relaxed. He literally saved us and helped us get the car we wanted. We couldn't be any happier with how we were treated and made feel at ease. I can guarantee you, I'll definitely be buying another car from here again. Thanks guys!

I have been driving for more than 14 years, and I have bought and sold some cars so far. So I have a little experience about used cars. However, I moved to the U.S. recently and hadn t had a car here. I looked for a used car with good price and reliable condition. I search through different sources and find many different dealers, private sellers, and wholesales. They sell the cars with high price or hesitate to provide enough information or I couldn t trust them based on my instincts. Eventually, I found auto city center on Google and started to look at their inventory. I found so many good cars, with a fair price. I look up the kbb for comparing the prices and found their price really fair. Besides, they provide Carfax report freely on their website which was a good sign of honesty. So the only thing that I had to do was to go and check their cars in person. I met Mike there. He kindly talked about their cars even told me which brands are better which are not although they have both of them there. So I became more confident that they are not looking for just selling and try to behave trustworthily. On the other day, I went there and met Ramsey and Sam they were both friendly and cool guys. I did a test drive on some of their cars. They also allowed me to take the car to my mechanic for inspection. So after I chose the Ford Fusion Titanium before finalizing it I took it to a local mechanic. He inspected the car and as Auto City Center guys told me the mechanic certified that the car is in good condition and even the oil and filters are still in half of their age and the car needed no service. So I bought it. They behave so kindly and informative. I definitely recommend them. I bought the car two days ago and I love it. Notably, recommend this place to UCD student. I, as a student, am aware of the limitations and occupations of students in terms of time and budget and these guys will understand and help you. They didn t force me to buy their cars in any of the many times that I went to their place. If you check their inventory they bring cars that have a good condition with a decent price. If you find a car somewhere else, make sure to check Auto City Center price for the same car if they have one in their inventory. Based on my search and experience they offer you the same brand and model with much lower price with probably slightly more mileage but still good shape and let you save thousands of dollars. If you see this comment without any update make sure that I have been totally satisfied with my car so far. Thanks, Mike, Sam, and Ramsey.In the end, I want to mention that always be aware that you are buying a used car and no one is a fortune teller to be able to accurately predict what is going to happen to the car in future. Definitely, if there is a problem with the car that a dealer fixed it with low-end parts or somehow just wrap it up to sell the car the blame is on the dealer but some issues with a used car are due to the age of the parts and the car.

We had a 100% positive experience from start to finish at City Auto Center: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, no high-pressure sales tactics, and a professional, seamless sales transaction. They seem to have a quality selection of cars and will stand by their vehicles. We are very satisfied.

My brother and I came to this dealer to check out a 2017 VW Tiguan. We drove from the bay area all the way to Davis based on this dealers' words. We had spoken with Ramsey and he met us there. We had spoken multiple times prior and he assured us that the car was in perfect shape. As a professional dealer, we took his word on this. Over the phone, he told us that the car was in pristine condition and that the car had never been in any accidents. Not only did he say this, he also stated that the car was in 'like new' condition. Here is the issue:The car was in a terrible state. We ran the carfax and there were a couple accidents on there. The vehicle looks like it was chopped. The body work on the car was repaired cheaply. The paint on the fenders didn't match the hood. The quality of the paint was terrible. Not only this, but the engine wasn't running properly. We checked the oil, and it was less than the low. As the car idled we noticed that it was spitting oil and water out of the exhaust!We couldn't believe that we had been deceived by this person. Thank goodness we didn't buy this thing. These people should not be trusted and my suggestion to anyone reading this is to inspect any car thoroughly before spending your hard earned money anywhere, especially here.

bought a 2012 honda about 6 months ago, waited a while to write this to make sure the car had no problems. it had high mileage for its year so we were able to come to reasonable deal. the salesman was very nice and not over barring (forgot name, but was a younger guy). car had a checklight on and they made sure to clear the issue before we left (tire was low on air). would recommend and revisit. thanks.

I have purchased a couple of cars from City Auto Center over the last decade. They have great cars at unbeatable prices. There's a reason City Auto Center survived the recession, great customer service! I can't say enough good things about them!

Low-pressure car buying experience. Found a great car way below market. I did have an unexpected issue with my car that was 100% manufacturer error but City Auto went above and beyond to make sure my issue was resolved and that I was a happy and fully satisfied customer.
