Picture this pouring rain. 5 freeway southbound. Windshield wipers not making a difference. Sarah at Orange Engine to the rescue! She cheerfully removes the wipers in about 2 seconds. Quickly finds replacements, rings up order, installs them while explaining the technique with a big smile. Not kidding ten minutes! It s taking me longer to type this review. Thank you Sarah! I appreciate your help!

Not sure what's wrong with all these people that left poor reviews. Pete was super friendly and knowledgeable on the phone. Told me he would have the parts by the afternoon. He called within 2 hours and said they were there early and asked me if I need help installing them in the parking lot. They don't make part shops like this anymore where people actually know their a****** from their ear hole

Every time I have gone here they have been more than helpful. I know nothing about cars and don't know much about replacing even the smallest items. I went for a brake light and windshield wipers. They found me the right stuff and put installed them for me. they also realized I had more light out and helped me out with that. Nothing worse than multiple brake lights out you don't know of and a cop will pull you over. I will go to this store anytime I ever need anything absolutely great store

These guys are old school in the good way. I'm working on a 50 year old van, that had a fire. I couldn't have gotten things sorted without their help.

Can t vouch for their boat stuff but man for auto parts I would stay away. They gave me the wrong rotors based off the factory part number, turned out to be completely wrong. No ABS disc inside the rotor which threw an ABS code, let alone the diameter was the wrong size by almost half an INCH. I understand I should ve compared the original part with what I got but with such a reliable and looked up to business why should I question what they give me? I explained this story to the I assumed manager and his only response was blaming me for (his words not mine) not knowing any better and he would do his best to get a refund. He was only going to refund his mistake if his supplier would credit him back. Unbelievable! They mess up and then blame the customer? I m shocked with how many positive reviews they have because at least in my circle, everyone I know has a negative experience with orange engine. Hate to not support a local business but you re better off going to autozone and oreilys. Their parts aren t even any better.

These guys are the best.They helped my wife change her wiper blades during heavy rains....saved me time and effort! Score.Every time I call, they quickly get parts I need and have great advice.Appreciated.

Visited to get advice and small tubing adapters to customize the gas filters on a motorcycle.The salesman was knowledgeable and helpful.The parts were reasonably priced.I will go there, first, when I next have a similar project.

This place is soooo convient, and the staff is so helpful and friendly. They really are engine experts but have also helped me with some astrophotography battery projects among other things. Everything is reasonably priced and the selection is great.

Old school auto and marine parts. By old school, I mean the guys working there will know what oil filter your 1992 mercruzer needs without searching on a terminal. Great customer service, always a good experience.

If your looking for a real parts store, and your not too concerned about needing floor mats, fuzzy steering wheel covers or air fresheners, Orange Engine is where you need to be. It's worth the time to drive to them even if your not local to the area.

Love this auto parts store. Super helpful and knowledgeable, reasonable prices and they have a machine shop.Plus, they are a local, small business.

I needed an obscure part, something usually found at Grainger Inc, and it was there at half the cost of Grainger. I called every auto parts shop from Lake Forest to San Clemente, nobody else carried it. Orange Engine and Parts is a local resource because of the hard to find marine parts that fit almost any need. They're quick, too.

Not to friendly and never help me when I go in. Been in 3 times. Being a woman I thought they might ask if I needed help. Very unhelpful and I've given them 3 trys. Am done!
