I had been going to this Speedee for years. But yesterday, I got a standard oil change and drove home. Then I noticed a big puddle of oil underneath my car. Being Sunday I had to take my car to a different oil change place that diagnosed that they put in the wrong sized gasket. So I won t be going back to this Speedee.

Speedee fixed my diesel jeep on the same day. They have all the parts in stocks from gasoline to diesel vehicles. Thanks to get me back speedee on the road

SpeeDee oil was a quick in and out service. This is different from your jiffy lube, since you get out of your car for them to drive it over the pit. The rate wasn't too bad for the area, but for being so close to a Krispy creme and an In and Out burger, you can't get a better location. The waiting room was a classic few chairs and posters of cars. TV was playing and coffee if you wanted while you waited. Bathroom for customers only, and there was no up selling pressure for the intake person. With the coupon online, it was definitely worth it!

Excellent service, my first time doing the oil change to my car at this location, it s a way better than where I used to go before, I watched the technicians on a big screen inside the lobby checking everything on my car and adding the oil. They have everything my car needs in stock. They replaced the engine air filter and the cabin air filter (they were super dirty, never checked from the other places I used to go to), At the checkout they walked me over the recommendation to keep my car running well. I definitely recommend this shop. Deserves 10 stars.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

They were fair priced and told me a bunch of stuff that I needed to fix on my Jeep without charging me extra. I m coming back here for sure. Plus in n out burger is kitty corner to this place with Krispy Kreme donuts just behind that.

Ridiculous and scary! I had my oil changed and tires rotated here. Not long after, I ended up selling the car, because it acted like it had a bad wheel bearing and that was one too many things to deal with on an older car. After I sold it, the new owner asked if i knew that my lug nuts were loose on the wheel that had the problem. I had the car on the freeway! They could have killed me!Services: Tires, Oil change

I have been going to this place for years with various vehicles. While the owner may seem curmudgeon-y both he and his wife seem to want to genuinely provide you with good customer service. My car is always ready pretty fast. If you're looking for a quick, thorough oil change that's conveniently located along 280 just outside of San Francisco, SpeeDee Oil Change is a good place to go.

I usually go to the San Bruno one. They are friendly and the waiting area is nice, clean and inviting. They were full so I went to the one in Daly City. The owner is very nice. They were empty so were able to take me right away which was great. The waiting area needs updating though. The seats are old and breaking and ripping. They have a TV Tray for a table. The desk staff weren't as friendly or inviting either. They only acknowledge you when it's time to pay. Daly City is convenient because it's close to my house but I would rather drive farther to San Bruno.

RUN! Do not go here! I bought a used truck and they had previously used this location to get their oil changes done (Their sticker was on the windshield and the report showed they consistently used this shop). I do my own oil changes and when I tried to do my first as the new owner of the truck, I was unable. They wailed down on the oil drain plug WAY over tightening it! I've tried using vice grips and hitting it with a mini sledge hammer and it still doesn't budge. I had to stop so I don't ruin it more. This huge mistake shows how incompetent they are. The ordeal has caused one huge headache. This is going to cost me money to get a mechanic to try and get the plug out and the cost of a replacement. I would strongly urge that you do not trust this shop with your car!Update: It's been over a month since I shared my email and phone number with the representative and have not heard anything from anyone. Not even a simple we're sorry for the headache and cost we put you through. Don't fall for the fact they appear to be doing their job to appease their upset customers. If the fact they do a horrible job doesn't make you bring your car to them, hopefully the TERRIBLE customer service will!

These are very nice people, and they do an excellent job. They took the time to explain what they were going to do, and let me know what they were doing through every step of the process. They took the time to explain why they were using the type of oil they were using for my vehicle. If you need your oil changed you should go here.

Fast service for an oil change. 15 minutes at the most. They give you the choice to sit in your car or go inside to the lobby. Honest service with no attempt to oversell you on products or services. I would recommend and I will go again myself.

Quick service. I came at 12 on a Friday and it was pretty empty. The employees were polite and didn't push and add ons. The process was quick and painless. I was in and out in 15 mins. I like that I know exactly what oil I was getting. Will definitely come back since this place is close to my work

I went there today for an oil change. The staff was very efficient and courteous. The head honcho was very patient with me even though I was confused about what kind of oil I needed. You can see them while they're working and they are quite thorough. I was in and out very quickly.

I ve been going here for years. Used to be a hit or a miss but now, this place is lit. Customer service on point and some moe. Today Laurence helped me out. Cleaned my windshield, air filter, changed my oil, and changed my windshield blades. Even gave me 5$ off- definitely worth 5 stars.

They are fast, reliable, and trustworthy. I haven't had to drain oil out, like other places that overfilled my vehicles. Better to have a little less than too much.

BEWARE OF BEING SCAMMED BY THE OWNER.My first time going to SpeeDee oil change and I'll never gonna return again. Apart from the usual upsells, they flat out refused to do oil change on my 2010 Civic LX because I asked for basic oil change. The owner lady lied to my face and said my car REQUIRE synthetic oil according to the manufacture. In my 10 years ownership of my base model civic, not once a Honda dealer told me that my car REQUIRE synthetic oil. The owner is straight up scamming people and I feel really bad for people who bought into the scam.Once I made it very clear that I'm not buying the synthetic package, the owner lady told me to go somewhere else and walked away. They left the hood up and didn't even bother to close it. Zero care and I'm very surprised that SpeeDee as an company would let that kind of service represent their company name.

They did my brakes. Fail. They still scrape but they tell me it's other parts of my car. After that answer didn't hold up, they told me it takes 400 miles to break it in. Did that. Still hear the scraping. Then they just said they didn't hear anything. Do not go to this place if you want trustworthy service. Don't even go if you're desperate. They are terrible.

Poor customer service and extremely overpriced. Many add-on charges for a simple oil change on a VW golf. Special oil filter charge? Extra oil pan cover removal charge? TOTALLY DECEPTIVE PRICING! $115 for a synthetic oil change on a mid-size car is crazy. I found a nearby mom-and-pop shop charging $80 for oil change and tire rotation.

Staff is friendly, but just like other businesses, they pressure you to purchase add-on's. If you can, make an appointment by phone. They also accept walk-ins. One thing that I agree with most of the reviewers here is that the oil change itself is overpriced compared to competitors. Also, even though it's easy to drive in from Sullivan Ave, be aware that there are blind spots when you exit from Washington Street. There isn't a lot parking either. It's a small location.

Extremely rude. He told me I can only use synthetic in my car, so I made a call to my boss, since this car is a company vehicle. I explained to my boss that I can only use synthetic and then the associate here interrupted me and said that he didn't say that. After that he told me I need an oil filter otherwise I'm going to have car issues... I just got an oil filter 3 weeks ago... I told him I will take my business elsewhere and he came up to my window and told me my car sounds terrible because I'm putting the wrong oil in it and that I don't have any idea what I'm doing with my car. It's a company vehicle, I follow protocol, there's no reason to tell me I'm stupid. I'm going to tell the whole world to avoid this place.

I had an oil change here and when i drove off my car was shaking alot to the point that i thought my car was turn off. i immediately took it to the auto shop and i was told that whoever did my oil change overflowed it causing a spill and ruining the spark plugs. Was straight up DENIED SERVICE because I refused synthetic oil... when it clearly stays in my owners manual that I can use 5w30 as an alternative, and my car has NEVER had synthetic oil. Was forced to drive to another town. Never going back.

Will never go here again. After they set my car up, the rude owner told me he refused to change my oil because I had an oil leak. He told me to go get it fixed and come back then hed change the oil. That wouldve been an $800 and several days procedure so was out of the question. They told me I was very low on oil, so I asked if I could buy a quart off of them there. They told me I couldnt walk out of the shop with it and that I needed to pull my car around (since they drove it out of the shop) so they could add some oil to my car. I wouldnt recommend them for their services or anything.

We Vacationed to San Francisco from Los Angeles and our Tahoe broke down, Luckily we found these guys that took care of us and saved our trip. Thank you guys we got back to L.A safe.
