I was thrilled with the quality and service of Masters Auto Body. Eric and his team were so amazing. They went above and beyond their responsibility. Their attention to detail was impeccable and customer service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place for all your automotive repairs.

Usually, honesty and integrity are mutually exclusive when it comes to body/automotive shops but Masters is one of the few exceptions. This is a family run business and the son, Erik, is now running the business. We can here for a quote due to an insurance referral and Erik gave us a very candid assessment. He helped us understand the insurance process and actually recommended that we not fix our car due to the age and residual value. We ended up taking his advice and just asked the insurance company for a check for the repairs which meant that we were unable to give them any business. That being said, we wouldn t hesitate to go back to Master s for any automotive needs.Service: Body & Trim

We couldn't be happier with the quality of the repairs to our car, and the professionalism of the folks at Masters! After ten years backing out of my garage, you'd think I would have it down. But, no. I managed to crunch the front quarter-panel and also break off the bumper connections. It had been years since I'd needed auto repairs, so I asked a couple shops for estimates. Masters's estimate was VERY reasonable. More important, they were very responsive and easy to deal with. Eric and his team made the whole process relatively pleasant (if one can say that about auto repairs). When I went to pick up the car, I was so pleased! It looks gorgeous -- Eric even buffed out some scratches on the trunk / opposite end of the car from the damage. I hope I don't need an auto body shop again any time soon but, if I do, I now know a great one!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Being a young woman, I often don't feel fully comfortable going to car repair shops as I do not know a lot about cars and have received over priced quotes in the past. I was blown away by my experience at Master's. Erik took a look at my car right away and walked me through everything that needed to be done to the vehicle. I left with all the repairs my car needed and felt truly taken care of in the process. Erik was extremely genuine, personable and professional. I 100% recommend this place as they very clearly care about their customers and not just about revenue.Service: Body & Trim

If I could give a 10 star, I would. The service from Eric and His team are stellar. Eric goes above and beyond, working after hours, being an advocate on my behalf to receive top notch parts for my car (not refurbished), calling me regularly to update me and make things convenient for me. He arranged my car rental for the best cost, covered a day of rental when my insurance company would not, and even returned my rental car for me. This was completely unexpected from a car repair company I found through my insurance. The type of service Eric delivers is rare and you can tell he is absolutely dedicated to his craft and the people he takes care of. There s no better place to take your car for body work. They have earned my trust.

I've worked with Eric a couple of times over the last two years and his service is great. He's always been more than reasonable on timing and pricing and the work has been top notch. I'd definitely recommend Masters for any of your car needs!

We found this body shop through a recommendation from our insurance company. We were expecting to find a business that did satisfactory work. What we ended up finding was a craftsman who did outstanding work. It s clear that Eric takes the same level of personal pride in his work that any artist takes in their creation. He (and his team) insisted on a higher level of perfection than we even would have required. Add to that the fact that we also felt genuinely cared for. At the risk of sounding trite, we actually felt like we got special, preferential treatment, even though we knew they must treat all of their customers that way. It was a pleasure (to whatever extent repairing body damage can be a pleasure ) dealing with this shop. The took a lot of the pain out of this type of traumatic experience. We will never go anywhere else.

I've been working with Eric for several years, and every time he has turned a negative experience (accident) into something that leaves me feeling good. His better-than-new philosophy leaves you feeling like the inconvenience of having an accident was actually all worthwhile! The work is outstanding, and he has always done a little extra with each job that he just throws in because he's a good guy. Eric and his Masters Auto Body staff are one of the few remaining examples of a small business that is its customers' partner. We recently moved out of the Bay Area, but will continue to bring Eric our body repair issues. It's worth the drive!

I brought my car over to this place. I could say I am fascinated with the service they provide. Excellent work and customer service is amazing. Very friendly . I highly recommend this body shop . You will not regret bringing your car to this place . 10/10 thank you so much!

Masters Auto Body Shop was recommended by my AAA Insurance Claim Adjuster , Mike Harris, as a highly rated shop . While I had to admit I was skeptical in the beginning, only because Mike provided me exceptional service processing my claim, that I went along with his recommendation.Day 1 , I met Mike, the owner of Masters. He was very polite, well mannered, friendly, professional and assured me that my car would be fixed to original condition. This guy had no airiness in him. It was a pleasure talking to him , from start to finish! Nice guy!A week later, he called me to advise that my car is ready. Well lo and behold! My car was brought to pristine condition! My doubts were immediately replaced with admiration on the quality of the work done on my car. I highly recommend Masters Autobody and commend Mike and his staff for a job well done. If they get recommended to you, eliminate the guess work, your doubts and fears. Just entrust your vehicle like I did! This Masters Autobody shop rocks ! My car was side swiped, and I went in to request a quote. Although the shop owner was friendly and knowledgeable, he never sent the quote the next day by email as promised. I followed up with him, and he told me to come by after work, after hours, and that he would be there. Wasted my time going because He wasn't, and also he stopped returning my calls. Why? Because he assumed that I wasn't getting my car fixed, and that I was just going to take the money and run because it was a cash job...not insurance. No future business for him from me, and no referrals in future because of this unprofessional behavior.

I ve known Eric for over 30 years , before he ran this shop that his family has owned. He s a stand up Man and does it the correct way all the time. And that s why he has a quality business.

I think I have to leave the first low rating here. I went there for the first time 9 days ago because of all 5 stars here.The owner Eric Steeg checked my car and he thought the damage was minor, so maybe I didn't need to open an insurance claim. Instead I could pay out of my pocket (of course it had to be less than my collision deductible to make sense.) He asked me to send him an email with photos of my damaged parts. I did ten minutes after leaving this shop. I thought after he ordered the parts, I could come back to do the repairs. I had waited for 9 days and didn't do ridesharing. Nothing happened!!! Today I visited this shop again. He simply said "he dropped the ball!" He asked me to send the same email to him again.Besides, he had been unable to give me an rough estimate of the cost, and this time he pushed me to file two or three claims for the respective damaged areas because he changed what he had said and I had to call and appoint insurance adjuster. Also I have to wait for two more weeks because next week is a short week (Memorial Day).After I said "I am not happy and I might go to other shops", then he became willing to register my car in his computer and showed me the cost of different parts if they're ordered from the dealer. Now the cost of the parts for two damaged areas became more than my deductibles! He said he had some tricks for the claims and my actual cost would be less, but I didn't buy it. Those tricks didn't sound legitimate to me. He mentioned it would be like gambling. Maybe he meant a tricky dance with my auto insurance company. Sorry, but I don't gamble, especially on this. And I like to work with honest people.I talked to another auto body shop nearby right after my leaving, and the owner said they can do it next week if the insurance adjuster can come next week!I am really upset that my business hasn't been taken seriously and my time has been wasted. Also I don't like a dishonest person. I really will go to other shops and have a simple repairing process.

I went in to have my side mirror replaced for an insurance claim, and I received outstanding service. My mirror was replaced to my satisfaction and although I don't know much of auto body repairs, I was treated with care and professionalism. I highly recommend this place for your auto body repair needs. Thank you.

They were incredibly helpful and kind! I was in and out of there in 20 minutes and they fixed multiple multiple issues. This is my go to spot now without a doubt (although hopefully I won t need their services but if I do I know where to go).

I recently had a string of bad luck w/ my car... and I REALLY treasure my car, so I did alot of research. Also, I've been in the auto business myself for many years, so I understand the importance of repairing a car the RIGHT WAY. After talking to experts in the area and inspecting the work myself, I chose Masters Auto Body in Daly City. It might look a little crazy/cluttered when you arrive, but this is the place you want to go. Master's Autobody has a passion for repairing your car right, ...(not just doing the bare minimum or a rush job). My accident caused rear suspension damage, much of which the insurance company either missed or didn't want to dig too deep into. But Eric at Master's was meticulous in determining just how deep the damage went. He also got along great with my insurance company and I had no issues arrise there. Long story short, the paint job is good, the parts and reconstruction are good, and I've driven to Tahoe 10 times with no issues or weird noises. So there ya go..."secret spot from an industry insider." I truely believe taking my car to Master's Autoboy prolonged its life, and it sparkles once again! PS- this is also the secret spot for help with paintless dent repair. GOOD paintless dent repair.

I always go there, and so does my husband. Owner, Eric Steeg, is very honest and sincerely wants to do a great job. (Not a schkock-shop!) Eric strives to do excellent work.

very similar to other one star reviews. He is a nice guy but not trustworthy, keep postponing appointments and tells me different stories every time. Im not even sure if he replaced with a genuine part. Go elsewhere if you don t want any headache.

These guys are awesome i worked with them through insurance and they repaired my Denali like nothing ever hit it, these guys are great at what they do! Definitely would recommend to a friend

This place is the bomb. I have been going for over 10 years. Eric has always come within 20 or 30 dollars of multiple estimates I have gotten. The work that they do is awesome!

German family of mechanics and a future engineer, and the youngest person to become a full journeyman at age 18, mr. Steeg can straighten out anything except your personal problems. Busy as hell but worth the wait. 25 years in biz
