Superior workmanship. They installer clearly understood. This is a four-wheel drive that I use off-road and without mentioning it he installed the muffler a bit higher up instead of a stock location which would have been much lower. I really appreciate this attention to detail. The bead that he ran connecting the muffler to my exhaust system was seamless. Very very nicely done and worth the money

Lisa and team do a great job getting you in and out fast. I ve never been dissatisfied. The install of the Miller Cat plate and a welded crossbar will hopefully prevent theft in the future. Yes, I completely painted the cat in 2000f orange before bringing the car in.

My neighbor referred me to this location after my Catalytic converter was stolen. I had to pay out of pocket and worked with Kyle to get it fixed. I got to meet him and Lisa and they were so nice, welcoming and knowledgeable! I highly recommend this shop. It was quick, affordable and friendly! Thank you! So.happy to be able to.drive my car again without roaring!

The catalytic converter on my little 05 Tacoma pick-up truck got stolen. Golden Auto was able to get it fixed in one day. Good job Kyle/Lisa. A bit dirty though because the technician who brought out my truck put mud all over the floor mat. I asked for OEM catalytic converters but Lisa said it will take six months so I had no choice but aftermarket. For the catalytic converters, $2561.44. (My Tacoma has 2 cats) Walker catalytic converter 83601 $600, Catco catalytic converter 775106 $1150, labor $332.83, O2 sensor $160, labor $130, tax $188.61 = $2561.44. I requested them to put in a cage so that this doesn't happen again. Instead, I received a Cat Shield from Millercat installed (shield $150, labor $635.19, tax 14.81) $800. $3261.44 total. So far so good. No exhaust leak or check engine light after about a week of driving.

They kept my OEM muffler which worth thousands when had them installed a magnaflow on my Accord. They charged a full price on alignment but they only do the front wheels, and they claimed that too much rust on my vehicle and did not want to break my vehicle. I looked at the bottom of my vehicle and I didn't see much rust when I got home. Say away from dishonest people.

had a broken tailpipe. 3 different mechanics directed me to this place. they got me right in and fixed it in 30 minutes for $180. very nice people.

A B S O L U T E T O P T I E R S E R V I C E ! ! ! ! !Between Lisa and the younger fella who helped out (sorry, forget his name!) the two couldnt have been more helpful and accommodating. Really A+ service and pricing. I searched easily over 10 different places around the Bay, and Golden Auto soared above the rest with pricing, service and quick turnaround. Dont go anywhere else. Had my catalytic converter stolen off my car. I was told this shop was the place to go and I was not disappointed! Amazing service and hospitality with very warm people that obviously care and take great pride in their work! The price was a fraction of what other shops had quoted and I was in and out in under an hour. I will definitely send people to this shop and will return should I need any future service. A couple of weeks ago, I joined the dubious club of Prius owners with stolen catalytic converters. I had been advised that my 2014 Prius V was not a target in the way the "classic" earlier Prius models were. Wrong. The part was stolen at night from my car parked on the street right in front of our house. After calling several Toyota dealers and a couple of repair shops, I was told by almost all of them that it would take months (4+) to get a replacement part. Joe at Golden Auto felt he could get it sooner, so I had my car towed there. He was able to locate a California approved replacement part from Oklahoma (!), and had my car fixed within 10 days of dropping it off! He also installed a very serious security cover to deter future theft attempts. Excellent service and advise. I highly recommend Golden Auto for your Muffler/Exhaust/Brake needs.Service: Exhaust

The weld job doesn't look that great and I hope it holds well in time.Besides the weld issue. They offer fast service. The price they quoted was more affordable than other shops. I hope I won't experience cat converter theft again but for any other muffler repair job, I will come back to this shop as long as I live in the area.

Used to take all my cars good job and reasonable price right now one of the most overpriced places not like before went there to get a pipe welded on had no muffler they were trying to make me do a whole new pipe just so they can get more money DONT GO THERE IF YOU WANT TO GET RIPEd if I could would put 0 startsService: ExhaustService: Exhaust

After 15 days all welds broke free and I had to pay another shop to re due all there horrible work. When contacting the business they talked down towards me and took no responsibility for there horrible work. They didn t even put on the right muffler. I paid over $550 just to have it break in 3 weeks. Cost me another $400 at another shop to repair. The other shop was well aware of there bad welding.Service: Exhaust

I called about getting a new cadyliitic converter for my older model truck. Lisa, the owner, was really helpful and suggested the best option that would work and not cost me a ton of money. GREAT! Dropped in without an appointment on the recommendation of a person that knew what needed to be done on my vehicle, and they immediately ascertained the problem and fixed it in no time! This place is very BIG and to my eyes very clean and organized. I had no problem and would go back if I needed similar work done on my car. Thumbs up!

Love this place. Got my catalytic converter replaced, took forty minutes and was a quarter of the price of other mechanics. Lisa was so nice and thoughtful at every step. Couldn't recommend them more.

I am absolutely 100% satisfied with my car experience today. i showed up @ 8am, diagnosed in minutes, estimate in cost accurate with total payment. Fantastic customer service. I felt at ease with the mechanical performance. I found by far my favorite and now permanent car care shop.

Great service. Fast and efficient. The converter on my '06 Prius finally got stolen and the team here were able to take my car right away and fix it up in two days. I also invested in the protective cage they personally fabricate to slow down any future attempts on the converter. I definitely recommend them!

Wow. This was the best auto repair experience I have ever had. Without an appointment, I came by Golden Auto in the afternoon with a cracked exhaust and needing new mounts. The staff at Golden auto met me immediately as I arrived. Within 5 minutes, I had an explanation of the problem and a reasonable estimate. A technician went to work on my vehicle immediately and I drove out of there all patched up within an hour. It's nice to know that some shops still provide professionalism and service like this. Great job!

Lisa, her brother, and the mechanics that work there are trained and very knowledgeable with any car that comes in. I like that Lisa doesn't talk up the price and is reasonable with what I need or what I don't need for the moment. I moved from Daly city and still go to her to have my Nissan and Lexus serviced
