This place is a great place to have your Transmission repaired or replaced. They do awesome work! I stopped by the last two days to bring one of my other cars in for some transmission work and found them closed ! does anyone know what happened! This would be a great LOSS to Daly City. Im holding out to see if they open tomorrow hmmm

Their phone number listed on Google Maps has been changed to an unlisted number, and I stopped by today to find it closed and deserted. Looks like they shut down.

Unfortunately, I have to recommend avoiding this shop.18 months ago, they replaced my transmission with a 1-year warranty. Having driven my car very lightly (5000 miles) over the last 18 months, the transmission they installed suddenly doesn't work and needs to be replaced AGAIN. I expected this to be an anomaly and they'd cut me a deal, as clearly something on their side went very wrong.Nope. They won't offer anything, as it's no longer under warranty. They want me to pay full price for a new transmission. And they're not even very kind about it.Garbage service. Garbage quality.Service: Transmission

Arnaldo is really knowledgeable & transparent. I would definitely recommend this business. Know that transmission services aren't cheap, so it's important to choose a good company. You have the option to choose a company that may be cheaper, but remember that you get what you pay for. I like how the rebuilt transmission that I purchased from them came with a 1 year warranty, which the business honored. Arnaldo was transparent with everything, and was straightforward. Thank you B & B Transmission. Shout out to Josh too

Recently took in my GT500 for a clutch replacement/transmission work..Arnold & Brittny were very professional & provided excellent customer service. They're also excellent with being transparent & keeping me updated with what was going on. Have yet to perform any fast or wide open throttle shifts due to the recommended break in miles but so far everything seems great!Service: Transmission

They charged me to reliese my car $125 for diagnosis(!)after saying that computer shows nothing but we need to change transmission for $3000!They put receipt saying "customer refused the repair!". If you don't know whats wrong what repair you are talking about. They just want to take more money for unnecessary work. AAA recommend but they are just crooks.

The worst shop I ever taken my vehicle to. Made an appointment more than a week in advance for a simple diagnostics (30 minutes). Ken Leon said; "drop it off early in the morning and I can have it ready by 11:00". I dropped it off by 09:00, he never called me. I called around 16:00, Ken said let me check the status, I'll call you back, never did. I showed at the shop past 17:00 after taking BART and Buses to get there (more than an hour in both directions) and they never even touch the vehicle. He wanted me to wait 30 minutes so they can do it fast. I said no, give me my keys, I took my vehicle and left.I will not recommend this shop to anyone ever, they are irresponsible, and they do not deserve my business or anyone else' for that matter. They should not be in business with that kind of customer service.

These guys take the cake. Horrible customer service compete with lies. Here's the kicker, they were recommended by two sources 1. A good friend 2. A good friend who owns an auto repair shop and used to send vehicles to then for transmission work. They accepted my car on Monday morning to flush the transmission. It's a Honda Civic hybrid. They said they don't work on hybrids but they can do a simple flush and reboot.Come Wednesday at 6 pm, they call and tell me I need to come get the car but they are closed for the day. I said I'm at the hospital with my 2 year old daughter on Thursday can I get a tow truck there on Friday. He relented. I found out by my friend that by law a shop has to provide you 48 hours to retrieve your vehicle anyway...not much of a relent. Is a holiday weekend aka Labor Day. I called the few shops that specialize in hybrid Transmissions here in San Francisco Bay Area. The earliest appointment I could get was Tuesday morning and they won't accept my vehicle early.I called B&B and asked if they would hold my car on their lot for $100 until Tuesday morning, especially since they were going to be closed for the weekend. He told me know. He said he needed it off the lot because they were having their parking lot resurfaced. I'm sitting here waiting for a tow on Tuesday morning...same old crappy parking lot surface. I'll take a photo.I asked if he could move the car to the street outside the shop and then hold the key in the office for me. He told me no. He said if he moved it he'll leave the key in the car. He said I'd have to move it if I don't want the key left in the car. I'm 20 miles away through city traffic. He then made a gracious offer that I could keep the car issue the shop for $85 per day from the day I had the car towed there. Lol ridiculous and against the law for 2 reasons 1. You can't back date charges from before the time you decide not to do the with 2. As mentioned earlier, they gave to give a patron 48 hours to remove their car by law (which would have been by 6 pm this past Friday). In review,1. they didn't do the service they said they would do2. They lied multiple times3. They tried to built me by pressuring me with illegal informationI had someone drive me 45 minutes to move the car from the parking lot to directly in front of the shop. It was a total of a 50 foot drive. The guy avoided coming out to give me my keys and sent someone else while he hid in the back. I wasn't going to say anything to him anyway, but he punctuated the coward of being an adult he is. My buddy with the repair shop had called him also to try and help...he said it was the strangest thing, the guy was rude to him also. What makes it so odd, is the guy was very polite and seemed to want to be helpful in Monday when the car was brought in 8 days earlier. He sat and told me the history of both their locations and the owner and struggles to find good mechanics...hahaha they must still be looking. Whatever his problem is, he needs to at least learn honesty.

Wonderful people! Though my car was a complete lost cause, they've been very patient with me in dealing with it. The last time I was there, a man from the Bureau of Auto Repairs was there picking up his car. Good enough for him is good enough for me.

These guys know what they're doing. I'm glad they live nearby as its difficult to trust transmission shops or mechanic shops in general. I highly recommend you check these guys out for any and all your transmission needs as they are highly educated in the transmission dept. unlike most other shops who just want to gouge you for a simple task.

Was recommended by neighbor who works on his own cars and brought his car here. Had pre-evaluated the transmission problem, and he explained the code. Turn around time was day and half. I had a twenty year old Mercedes SL 500. No complaints.

My jeep grand cherokee was stuck in 2nd gear. Did some online research and found the most common problem was the governor pressure sensor and/or solenoid. Took the car to Firestone...they couldn't figure out the problem. Took it to Peninsula Transmission...they couldn't figure out the problem immediately either, but wanted $740 to replace the Solenoid and to "make sure things are working properly". Took it to Sergio at B&B Transmissions...within 5 minutes he confirmed that it's probably the Governor Pressure sensor and/or Solenoid. Ended up charging me $335 to replace both and with a 3 month warranty.I would definitely recommend these guys if you don't want to get ripped off and taken advantage of.

I called this shop today and had some questions about my transmission, even though i was not a customer they took time out of their day to explain what i needed to do to fix my situation with my transmission, by myself. I am very grateful, thank you B&B transmissions! You have earned a future customer with me!
