I have had two separate services done at this shop, both were great quality, done on time, and were extremely well priced.First job was for an aftermarket radio, where I actually first went in to undo damage as I failed to wire it myself late on a Friday. Owner diagnosed the problem as just a popped fuse (fixed for free), and offered to test the radio to see if it worked. After doing half the wiring it was discovered that the radio did fail, and we scheduled a follow-up appointment after I got a new radio (note, the work was done into after hours for the business, super generous of them). Despite 2 appointments, the owner only charged me for 1 appointment as it was 1 job, despite it being my mistake. Radio works great several months after the job, despite it being plugged into a very old wiring harness on the car-side.Second job was installing a bolt-on aftermarket exhaust. I initially called the owner to inquire about pricing for a custom exhaust, and he recommended that a full-custom exhaust would likely not fit my needs and be quite expensive as I was looking for a cat-back system, and a bolt-on would likely be better for my car and he could make any adjustments to it as I see fit. Had the shop install it, charged only 1 hour of labor which is $150 (excellent prices for the bay area). Sounds great, very happy with it and the price to labor ratio is just too good to be beaten. For context, dealership prices for my make (Volvo) are $300 in the city, and the best independent shop I found that focuses on Volvo's are at $180 an hour currently.Great business owner and very knowledgeable. Best part of his business is that he does not oversell or rack up hours of labor. Super kind guy as well!Only negative is that it is a small business and so sometimes appointments can fall through the cracks or they may be understaffed sometimes, and so flexibility is required when working with them. However, I think this is due to them having quite a lot of business, as when I went there were many cars in the bays being worked on.If you want great service at extremely great prices and tons of knowledge, come here! They are great value for any custom work, large or small. I will continue to come to Auto Sound Performance for advanced services, with my current vehicle and the next, and if anything wrong happens I am confident they will make it right.

I have shopped around throughout California in search of a Company that could safely install a safe sound system into my 2016 Mercedes Benz without tampering with the factory radio... My fears were set at ease when I met Chris @ Auto Sound Performance 4830 Mission Street! He installed a sound system with amplifiers, converters and 12 inch woofer speakers into my Mercedes without altering any of the factory functions, and my sound system sounds AWESOME... so clear! I can only imagine the other great works he can do with his skills, thank you Chris*

I am extremely happy with Auto Sound Performance, so much so that I am now a repeat customer. When the on-off switch on my Fiesta's factory head unit began malfunctioning, I determined the only fix was to replace the head unit.This would have cost a fortune at my local Ford dealership, but a guy in the parts department told me I could trust Auto Sound Performance to do an aftermarket install, and he was correct!A 2011 Fiesta is a somewhat tricky thing, because the factory head unit lives inside a really weird, proprietary dash board housing. But service writer Axel and owner Andrew knew just what to do, in terms of sourcing an adapter that allowed them to install a "floating" touch screen in my car.Axel and Andrew were very sensitive to my comfort level regarding the cost of this job, and this is important to note: I'm sure most people who come to an aftermarket stereo and electronics shop are looking to drop big money on a "system" that can make the pavement ripple, but all I needed was a mild upgrade that would fit within a specific budget. And Auto Sound Performance delivered!My original goal had just been to replace my malfunctioning factory head unit so it would stop turning itself on and draining the battery while the car was parked. What I got was a fully modern touch screen stereo with new speakers and a back-up camera, for a very reasonable price.And the sound quality in my car is now off the charts! Suddenly I can hear nuance and beauty in every piece of music I listen to, and, at long last, when I play an audiobook, I can actually hear it without having to crank the volume all the way up.Furthermore, when it came to any little doubts or concerns I had about any aspect of my install, or how it was configured, Axel and Andrew were always eager to have me come back in and have whatever I wanted tweaked or adjusted so I'd be completely satisfied. These guys are not looking to sell you a system and have you never bother them again; they are building relationships with their customers, and that is why I more recently brought them my friend's van so they could similarly work their magic on that vehicle.If you need a stereo, subwoofer, amp, dash cam, or anything else installed on or in your car, Auto Sound Performance should be the first shop you talk to!

ASP installed Airlift 1000 in my Jeep Rubicon to help with some sag from a small trailer. Jury is out on the product, since it needs a few years to be properly judged, but their advice and service was excellent. They texted install photos at key points where decisions could be made and included customer in the process. The initial quote was exactly what they charged with no BS. Recommended.

These guys give top notch service!I have been taking all of my cars to ASP for about a year now and the techs there are very knowledgeable about each one despite them being different manufacturers.Not only do they do great sound systems, they also do fantastic work especially on performance cars. ASP is one of the best shops in Daly City, if you ever need audio or performance work done I always recommend ASP!

This business did not honor my appointment booking and failed to provide satisfactory service. My wiring stopped working just one month after it was installed, and the business is currently temporarily closed.Initially, I went to this business seeking to install a head unit and a backup camera. They gave me a reasonable quote and instructed me to call back to book an appointment. When I did call back, they scheduled me on a holiday, which I found strange, but I did not question it. However, when I arrived for the appointment, they informed me that I wasn't on the schedule.They told me to reschedule for another day. So I did and came back for another appointment. But when I arrived they told me they were unable to complete the job at my appointment time (when they open). They offered to squeeze me in if I left my car for 10 hours, which I agreed to. They completed the first half of the job.For the second half, I needed the wiring done for the steering wheel to complete the job. We texted extensively about the next appointment, and I confirmed the availability of the appointment time. However, when I arrived on the appointment date, they informed me that I wasn't scheduled in. I tried to explain my side of the situation, and they eventually installed the steering wheel wiring to the head unit. Unfortunately, a month later, the wiring stopped working and now they're temporarily closed.

These guys are great!!I took my car (2019 Mercedes) in here and they were soo knowledgeable of what to do and what wouldn't work. These guys do NOT upsell on anything and will give you an honest answer. Great communication!I will def. be a long term customer to Audio Sound Performance and this is me coming from San Francisco where there are a lot of companies to choose from.Thank you for everything and will be back soon for additional projects.

Total nightmare! We brought 4 new vans to put alarm and every single one had problems after words. One of them did not start twice, our tech was stuck in the middle of the road. Two other vans got broking into and alarm did not go off for approximately 2 minutes. What makes it even worst is that the owner would not take any responsibility and gave us run around with out any solutions. We ended up spending more money to redo and reinstall all their work by another shop. Customer service and quality of work are horrible - stay away!!

Great place to get a subwoofer or your car set up for you. Guys are really knowledgeable and kind with over 20 years of experience. Would recommend to anyone looking to tune up their cars audio.

I have used these guys for a few things on my 2010 Tundra. Back up camera, after market blue tooth, new rims/tires, fender flares, rear sway bar, leveling kit, new fox shocks.Its all worked out nicely. I just had my bumper destroyed while parked in SF and they are going to help me to repair that too.Solid work and advice on how to improve my vehicle. I'll keep coming back to them, they do nice work.

Great place for tires and shocks. I own three cars: an Audi, BMW, and Honda. The guys here are helpful and efficient. Their prices can't be beat, either. This place is much better than other shops I've been to in the past.

Got my alarm installed here because Mercedes said they were preferred for Sprinters and Metrics vans. Alarm beeps all the time, I bright it back better here and they said it was supposed to act like that. Improper install and it took forever and they said it was fine when it was done totally wrong. Don't recommend. Will need to spend more money to fix their mistakes.

These cats have the answers to get things done on your rig. Every custom job has unexpected surprises and I'm really happy with the way Drew and Vlad respond and take responsibility. They've also pointed out things for modification that could have become problems for me down the road. Overall, great outfit.

So I had my Speed6 at this shop so they could diagnose a check engine light and a p0117 code that pipes up after they installed my upgraded fuel pump internals, brakes rotors bearings and hubs. After having my car for months they told me it was a head gasket. I asked over and over again if it was a senator or something electrical and they told me no. I was shocked to hear this especially since I had spent so much money and time on my baby. And the fact that their were no signs of a head gasket issue. So I sold the car a parts car just to find from the guy who bought it from me that it was not a head gasket it was an ECT sensor. So basically I sold my car underpriced and didn't even make back the money I put into it all based on what they told me at this shop. Then when my grandmother calls to confirm the owner tells her that t was my fault and I abused the car and didn't take care of it. So instead of telling me they didnt know what was wrong with my car they lied told me it was a headgasket and I ended up selling the car and losing about $4000 and that's not including the $2000 of work they did on the car previously. Won't be coming back here at all!!!!

This shop was probably one of the best things that ever happened to me. Hang out for about two hours there and everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable. They really make me feel at home.Don t think twice. You got to go and experience your self . They are like a candy store for car people lol

Great guys down there,i stopped by and asked a question about replaceing a clutch, and the mechanic on site "Jeff i believe" was very polite and informative, he advised i may need a new flywheel as well based on what i told him, very helpfull , also very attentive. Thanks auto sound performance...

Love the enthusiasm at this place! I came in to buy some battery lugs, no big deal right? For an $8.00 sale, the sales person gave me tons of advice. I buy a lot of audio gear and I will most certainly be spending more money here.

Charging me $290 at max for installation of the fog lights I bought online. $145 an hour for Labor!I guess it's not worth it to have foglights.
