I asked for a quote for a new ignition switch which is a fairly simple job and should take less than an hour and they quoted me a 2 hour job at $175 per hour, even with me providing the part..SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.I got the job done elsewhere for LESS than $150 parts & labor.Shop around. There are still fair honest mechanics to be found in the bay area

This was my first experience going to a servicing shop for my car, and Howie was truly exceptional! He patiently explained the details of what my car would need for the first time, recommending what's best for my car. The prices were very reasonable for all part. I have always been wary of people who try to up-sell you products, but Howie genuinely gave me honest opinions about what's best and I felt completely at ease trusting him. Such people are rare to come by. Our car needed to change a new license plate, but there was a screw embroidered and could not be pulled out. Two staff members worked for an hour and tried various ways to finally pull it out. I thought it would cost at least a few dozen or a hundred. As a result, he said it was free and was happy to help us. I was really touched. Thank you very, very much. We took our daughter with us when we went, and they were kind enough to remind us to stand far away with our child when they used the drill, because the sound was very loud. They were really kind and very skilled. We will definitely go back here for future oil changes and repairs and will recommend my friends to go as well.

I recently had a great experience with a simple tire repair (plug to fill in a small hole) at JST. After talking with Jerome by phone about how to get my flat fixed, and managing to limp the car over to his shop, he quickly diagnosed that it was in fact a small hole and started fixing it. He explained what he was doing as he worked, and fixed it fast. The repair is holding up fine, and his price was quite reasonable. I'll definitely consider bringing my cars to JST again in the future.

I can see why others left 5 stars. They diagnosed, ordered parts, then fixed my car all between Thursday morning and Friday afternoon. The work was quoted accurately and at a reasonable price.

I first met Jerome in the 1990's, when he was in Sunnyvale, off Lawrence. I used to take my BMW to his garage and he would do a great job at a relatively low price. I returned to the SFBA in the 2010's, and although that garage was gone I was able to find him through a web search. I'm now back to taking my cars to him. The nicest thing is that Jerome will work with a budget, while still doing the best possible job.

Humble, and nice guy that Howie is. We met up at Tastea location in, San Jose. Bought me some H11 Headlights, and some t10 for my interior. I haven't rode with these at night yet, but this guy has all the information and was mobile with LEDZ needed. Thanks again, ill be visiting soon.

Sadly I m not reviewing the product specificly but the company and their customer service or the lack there of to be honest. I ordered turn signals over a week ago being told they would be shipped day after order and that it was 2 day shipping.. honestly the product itself is not bad I do like my new turn signals but DANG the customer service will guarantee that I m not a returning customer nor would I recommend their services to anyone

Jude went above and beyond and even though I'm always skeptical of any mechanic I was extremely impressed by not only the work but the cost for all the work I got done was surprisingly GREAT
