I chose this place to get my 2013 BMW smog tested while I was in Cupertino for some other errands. Unfortunately, the OBD test didn't work. The technician suggested that the car needs to be driven more to capture the readings. After a couple more visits, it still didn't work. He advised me to drive below 50 mph or low speeds for some time and bring it back. Today, when I went to get it tested again, the technician said that everything needs to be retested past 30 days with a new charge. He was not willing to listen and was quite rude as if he is doing free service. I suggest going elsewhere for your smog test. They are not customer-friendly at all. Also, the price that I paid went in vain at $50 per test including certificate is on expensive side.

I just wanted to thank you, Hai, for making the smog check process for my 2007 F150 so easy and painless. It was great to be in and out in less than 30 minutes after arriving at 5:20 pm. The fee was also quite reasonable, and I would definitely come back again. Thank you so much!

Been to many smog shops and will only come back here again. Guy will get you in and out as fast as possible and not try to mark up anything else.Not to mention, compared to other places, his smog service was almost 2-3x cheaper than nearby facilities. I went there for a smog test, and the next day realized that my driver license was missing. I went back and asked, and the guy immediately understood and pulled out a pile of driver licenses and credit cards from the drawer by the door. Apparently I was not the only one who forgot to take back the driver license after the test. If you are in a similar situation and you are lucky enough to see this post, come back and see if you can find yours.

I called before I arrived asking if they could do a smog check on my vehicle and they said yes. However upon reaching the location the tech said that he wasn t sure and that he would need to conduct research and ask the government which machine to use. He then left to watch some smut TikTok s on the computer telling me to come back another day using the excuse that he needed to research it. Absolutely ridiculous.

Called for a price quote, and his voice was not very clear so I repeated couple of times to confirm and he suddenly got super mad and yelled at me and hung up awful experience

Went there 3 times, but still had to go elsewhere to get my test. First was due to the vehicle not meeting some DMV requirement, 2nd the machine was broken and third he is just not there. And the phone number is useless so no way to call ahead

The guy was really good at mechanic stuff and customer service. His original and true form was an amorphous black mass flecked with spots of silver, like the infinitesimal tapestry of the night sky. After I told him I was beginning to dissociate from my mortal existence looking at the abyssal reflection of my own insignificance, he promptly shapeshifted into a normal looking human man for the rest of the interaction. Truly a professional with cars and humans.

Regular smog test is $50 with $2 for credit card processing. Getting the smog test done was simple, easy and fast.

They were busy but he fit me in. They've always been good to me. Although prices seemed to have gone up for my car. 30 dollars more for test nownthan before but my cars old now lol.

Reasonable prices and great service! I originally went in for a smog check, and have since gone back for timing belt / water pump replacement, and flushing/replacing fluids. Their mechanic is transparent and communicative, which goes a long way. I was trying to find a place to smog my car. I called this place the guy said if you come now there is no one ahead of you and no one was. Then I asked the price he said $40.00, it was $40.0 nothing additional no games. He said it will take 5 minutes and took 5 minutes!! I was in and out in 5 minutes, I just could not believe it. The lady at the desk was a sweet heart. I never had such a good service. I recommend this place with all my heart. If I could I would give them 6 stars.

The service was quick but wasn't friendly. I was told the printer was broken after the smog test was done. The owner told me to come back later to get the hardcopy of the test result. I came back days later while the owner was busy. He apparently didn't like my interruption and told me to go home to call him to make the appointment of getting the report hardcopy. I said since I am here already how about we make the appointment right away instead of me going home calling him to make the appointment. He was having a very strange looking face to my proposal. Anyway, I still haven't got my report and I feel reluctant to talk to him. I am afraid he will show me another very strange looking face. Story to be continued regarding my report hardcopy. But I am very sure I will not do any future business with him.Service: Emissions testing

I have been this place for more than 6 years. For the vast majority of times, I could get the service promptly, therefore I just sat in the small waiting room reading my stuff. However, during the last week's visit after more than a year from the last visit because of the pandemic, I found out the business is booming and the waiting room is closed. Therefore, I had to leave my car there and he told me it would be ready around 3PM. He called me at 3:30PM, close enough.I do trust this guy. I know I could probably get a cheaper oil and oil change elsewhere with coupon (Her charged me $40-45), but every time I asked him to check whether the car need other maintenance, he never charged me for unnecessary services.The guy is frank and straightforward. I am surprised he got a few low ratings here, may be it is because of language/cultural barrier.Services: Smog certification, Oil change

He did not do the ODB Scan before running the whole test. The Catalytic converter data was not ready because I had replaced the battery.I came back for the free re-test two weeks later. The doors were locked during business hours. The phone was not answered. Their message machine was full.This use to be a great place. It now appears under new management.I took the car to the place at 10625 N. De Anza Blvd. They did the re-inspection quickly with not problem.Service: Emissions testing

If you live near Cupertino and you need a smog check, YOU MUST COME HERE. This is a permanent bookmark for me and I'm telling all my friends and parents of my kids friends. Come here. The owner is super efficient. The smog test happens usually right away. You do not need a coupon, it was a straight up forty dollars for me, which is about as cheap as the mailer coupons you get, but those places you have to always wait an hour or two or drop off your car. HE IS FAST. Trust me, if you can find time to go and you need a smog check, this place is for you.Service: Smog certification

Quick and awesome! Called in before to check if there was a wait and brought my car in. The owner met me out front as I drove up and had me sign some paperwork. The entire check only took five minutes and I was on my way back home.The test was only $40, and if my car failed the first test, the second test would be free

I called ahead mid-morning and he said to come on in, as there was no wait. When I asked he projected that it would take about ten minutes, and $40. I brought work in case it would take longer, and I was worried it might cost more, but it really was only ten minutes, $40. The technician was very considerate, and courteous. My car is older, and did not pass smog. He seemed genuinely discouraged that he had to give me bad news, and referred me to a place nearby where I could get a quick estimate for repairs, and said that if I come back to him for a recheck after repairs he would only charge me $10 for the second one. I went there and was offered a discount for mentioning that I was referred by Auto Smog Test Only.

This place is horrible! It is a one man business place, the owner is kind of crazy! If you ask question, he will yell like chicken without head, not only raise his voice also furiously crying as if he will bite you up, use any unclean words stare at you, it is better for you to leave that place ASAP to avoid any conflict who know he will lost his mind to do violence or harm your car. I definitely will not recommend anyone to go there even his price is a bit lower, because you might not know when his madness will suddenly blow up!

Made appointment and arrived on time. It took Hai only 15 minutes to complete the test and get out there. Very courteous and friendly people. He has free WIFI and comfortable waiting room now.* I added engine/injector cleaner to fuel to clean up the system fist then added new gas and got very good test result

Went in on a Friday at 10:15am (usually busy for auto repair type shops) but they took me in after only a couple minutes. I had an oil change done and tire pressure check plus a smog certificate done. My vehicle was ready to go in less than 20 minutes! Smog passed, they sent the certificate to DMV and all this for $70 and some odd cents after taxes and fees. That's not the deal of the century, but it is a more than fair deal and especially considering the service and turn around time,,,, exceptional! Thanks Auto Smog! you all rock!

Reasonable prices and great service!! We always go for the SMOG check here. This time, my car broke down and my husband took it today morning to get it repaired. The owner figured out the problem and fixed it in less than 5 minutes. Great service and I hope this shop stays here to service us for years to come!

I have been to so many shops and they always leave me with quotes that are unreasonable and at times questionable. I have been struggling with the repairs on my car for quite sometime. One day I decided to explore the Cupertino area and I stumbled upon this wonderful place. All of the concerns about my car were taken care of immediately and with the utmost courtesy. All of the staff are very knowledgeable on all things car related. This is a place where mechanic transparency goes hand in hand with affordable pricing. Place opened at 8:30. By the time I arrived at 9:00, there were already two cars ahead of us. The owner/tester was impressively efficient in getting everyone in and out in about 15 minutes. Very nice!

This place must be avoided. The owner screamed at me as I was rolling my car in. I asked him if the car was in the right position, he screamed even more and said get out . I mentioned I am hard of hearing and asked him not to scream at me. He screamed even more. Please don t go here for your service. This is a crazy man.
