I have been a customer since they were owned by Corky. That s 20 + years. My 2013 Jeep Wrangler was over heating and I had it towed to their garage. The new owner/mechanic said it was the engine coolant pump NOT the radiator that I inquired about. He assured me it was not the radiator and I authorized and paid him to repair the Jeep. First drive after I pick it up, it overheats! I have it towed back and he now tells me it is the radiator! I remind him that he assured me it was NOT the radiator and he says, oh no this is new, it isn't related. He then says it will be $1300 dollars to replace after the $1100 for the water pump. I asked him why he would try to charge full price and he says it is a new problem!!!! I was beyond pissed off and vowed to never do business with this guy again. They are either incompetent or crooks! Either way they earned this bad review and while I can t get my money back, hopefully it will save someone else!

The best auto repair shop on the Westside of Los Angeles. Javier and his team are honest and knowledgeable in what they do and proficient in their work. Highly recommend

Honest Mechanic Shop which is hard to say nowadays. Took care of the work warranty issue due to a defective part and honored word. Great family business. Hard to find someone knowledgeable in electric cars nowadays.

Javier has worked on two of my cars, he is honest and thorough. As long as he is around, I won't take my car anywhere else. He works on all cars. I have sent my Aunt to him (she couldn't have been happier), and will be sending my Dad to him to work on his 1987 Porsche 928.Don't look further, Javier's your man!

Honest, friendly and knowledgeable auto repair shop - Not easy to find in any city but especially Los Angeles. I appreciate Javier and his team. I can drop my car off and trust them to repair only what is needed. Thank you Washington Place Auto Repair!

Replaced my water pump - excellent service.I had my vehicle at two other highly-rated shops before I ended up here. There was a mysterious spraying of coolant under my hood, but the previous mechanics could not figure out the exact problem (or suggested replacing parts that did not make sense in this case). I ended up doing my own research / had a good idea of what part was malfunctioning, and then thought I'd try one last assessment - so I took it to WASHINGTON PL AUTOMOTIVE. I showed Javier where the fluid was landing, and he immediately called the problem. Although I dreaded having to hear that my water pump needed to be replaced $$$:( , I knew that I had come to the right guy. He handled the replacement within a day, and gave me a very very fair price. Knowing that I have upcoming travel plans, he checked on everything else and topped my fluids off for me with no extra charge.I'll will use his services again.

Javier is the man!!!! Went here after multiple places wouldn't even look at my car, Javier looked at it and immediately let me know what problems I had. Def will be coming here and no one else.
