My neighbor referred me here and Nelson took good care of my vehicle. He did an oil change and reset a sensor for me. No hidden fees or run around. I ll be back!

I hardly ever review on Google but Nelson has been fantastic. He is the main guy here and is very honest, warm and helpful. I brought my car in to be serviced the day after I called in and he had it done by 2 PM that day. Price was very reasonable, they offered a complimentary ride, and when my brakes still made a noise two weeks later (manufacturers fault, not Prestige Autos), he replaced all of them quickly. Very thankful the first mechanic I brought my car to in a new city was so wonderful. Well done, Prestige Auto.Service: Brakes

Hands down best mechanic you ll ever go to. So knowledgeable, so helpful. Nelson is such a good mechanic and really cares about customers like I ve never experienced before. I moved back to NYC and am still in touch because he s that awesome. Don t look further, he s your guy.

Nelson & his team are mechanical wizards. A good friend of mine recommended I come here, and I m so glad I did. I ve been to 10 different mechanics out here in LA with the RAP-VAN, and nobody took care of me like Prestige did. They knew exactly what needed to be done, got it done, and even tuned up some other minor issues I didn t know about. It pleases me to know that there are still honest, hardworking people out there. I will only be going to Prestige from now on. Thank you guys

The splash shield on our Subaru partially came off and we needed it fixed ASAP because we were about to leave for San Diego. Stopped in right as they were closing and they not only agreed to re-attach the shield then but did it for free! Really nice experience, obviously. I m a new customer.

This place is a gem. I have gone to other mechanics and they all have tried to pull a fast one on me. They think because I'm a woman I have no idea what my car needs or what is wrong with it. My father was a mechanic and taught me well. So when Prestige was recommended, I went with my guard up. Needless to say Nelson is the most honest, humble and straightforward mechanic, something that is hard to find now in days. I have found my new mechanic and the best part, he's just a couple of blocks away from me... If you want honestly, great prices and above all great work. Then I highly recommend Prestige Auto Venice

Nelson at Prestige Auto is amazing. I'd been referred here a while back but I've been pretty steadily going to the dealership for all repairs since I bought my car. I decided to give this place a try after a few things came up that the costs on just seemed ridiculous. Nelson walked through each problem with me, told me what he thought was necessary now and if there was anything I could actually wait on. I appreciated how thorough he was with everything. When I went to pick up he showed me old parts, and the wear on them and why they needed to be replaced. At times it felt it may be actually too good to be true, so I waited a week after getting my car back to write this in case something didn't seem right with the repairs. Car is running great and smooth. I'm at 130k miles and I'll now be going to Nelson for everything and anything that comes up. Can't recommend this place enough. I'm not a reviewer but Nelson is the best mechanic I've ever had so I'm compelled to give him a shout out. Friendly, honest, and fast. His prices are reasonable to low. He's done a couple of big jobs for me on an older vehicle I inherited and the car runs flawlessly. I can't recommend Nelson and his shop highly enough.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences at Prestige Auto Venice! Nelson is kind, quick, and knows what he s doing. I was treated with so much respect as a customer, and he has fixed each issue I identified. He also explains the issue and the work done on the car to provide context on what s happening. I m going to tell all my friends to go here and will continue using prestige myself!

Best mechanic in LA! Nelson was very welcoming and took time to explain and even show me what was going on with my vehicle. He and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. They go above and beyond (literally after there shift was over with great positive attitudes) and do not take advantage. Nelson is a true homie. It s very important to me to get positive vibes from mechanics that work on my car. I trusted him immediately.I m currently on a road trip right now from Arizona and need to go back tomorrow. He identified the problem and gave me a quick fix, exactly what I was looking for. They replaced my brakes with the wrong ones, my car started making noise so i took it to my regular auto shop and they told me my family and i were lucky to be alive, the brakes were sliding off because they were too small for my car. I notified the shop and instead of trying to make it better the man was full of excuses, now he wont even answer my calls. I am now looking into legal advice. By far the best mechanic I have found in LA. I ve been to several mechanics here to test the waters. Nelson is beyond trustworthy and truly cares about his customers. The price is so reasonable too! Prestige is a tucked away gem in the heart of venice! I will never go anywhere else!

We found Prestige Auto while moving our daughter to California and we had brake trouble. Customer service is fantastic! They hurried and got the job done so we could get back home. Then fixed our daughters car twice , including going to her apartment and getting her car started twice! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Best shop ever!

They are not honest mechanics! My side mirror got hit back to back months. $250 each time. Then a few months later it got hit again.... I wasn't going to pay Prestige $250 for a third time. I found a replica side mirror on Amazon for 30 bucks. I popped the cap inside the car, unplugged the wiring to the mirror, removed approximately 3 nuts, all in about 10 minutes time after watching a simple youtube video. I went back to Prestige and spoke to Nelson. I asked him where they got off charging me for two hours of labor. A professional with a proper lug/nut set could have had the job done even quicker than I. The shop charges in the ballpark of $80 an hour. Which is reasonable if the mechanic is honest! So after subtracting the cost of their mirror which was around $70. Nelson decided to milk the time by more than two hours. Unbelievable and their reciprocation was subpar at best.There was also a second incident in which I took a trailer hitch in to have installed. I needed this job done from Prestige before the auto-body guy next door would work on her. I specifically told Nelson to have this job done so the auto-body guy and I could then determine what to do with the rear bumper.... I even paid Nelson upfront! Upon returning my car was in the hands of the auto-body guy and the hitch was not even installed!!! I couldn't believe this. This further delayed my hopes of getting my car back in a timely manner... If you are looking for a competent mechanic please do not go here!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I don t know if it is under same ownership now but some years ago the Prestige Auto Mgr Offered to give me an estimate on my suspension. Once the Mgr had my car up on the lift he told me I would have to give him $225 dollars to get my car back down! I went to the police within an hour of the incident to report Prestige Auto but the police claimed it was a civil matter instead of criminal after 1st promising me ( the police sergeant) that he would get my car back. Stay away from this shop at all cost!Service: Steering & suspension repair

The guys at prestige were awesome because I just moved to LA and heard some noise coming from my brakes and they at least took a look since I don t have access to a lift. They were kind enough to tighten everything up and at give me a diagnosis. Appreciate it prestige!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Courteous, no b.s. service and advice. I brought my car in at 8:00am without an appointment. They diagnosed the issue, called me with an estimate, then performed the work, and let me know the car was ready a few hours later. They even did a courtesy check of my air filter and brakes, to let me know I should anticipate getting those serviced soon. Filled up my windshield washer fluid reservoir too!! Highly recommended!!

The most problem-solving, reliable and honest mechanic in Los Angeles. They are super fast and very reasonably priced.I have a Fiat 500 Abarth that requires very specific oil that s not regularly or easily available. When I needed an oil change, they sourced it and provided it at no extra cost to me and no complaints.They will help you out and do you favors if they have the tools available. They ve fixed lights for me for free or at minimal cost because they care and they re not looking to swindle you on a crazy markup.They saved my life when my brake pads wore out and gave me a much needed talking to about driving around like that!I adore all the staff and know that if I ever leave the area I ll still come here to get any and all work done on my car.

Bernardo (I think was his name) put air in my tires and changed out a teared one to my emergency tire very fast. I was incredibly grateful bc I was on my way to work when my car alerted me my tire pressure was low. He s so nice. I hope people recognize his good work.

These guys are great! I'm on the road from Nashville and my a/c goes out. The folks at Prestige got me in and out on a Saturday. And they're estimate was way below any other quote I got in the area. I would highly recommend Preatig .Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

Found my new trusted Mechanic and they are right down the street in Venice. Ishu and Nelson truly put the customer service first. Very professional and transparent when it comes to each job. Located in the yard right next to Erewhon and Vice on Venice Blvd. Completed diagnosis and fixed my fuel pump, front brakes, and rear tail light all in a days work. Thank you Prestige!!

I have lived in the area for the last 28yrs & have tried many car repair locations. For the last 10yrs I have been using this shop for all my cars, (3), they are fair priced, they give me good advise regarding any repair that I need done, & they tell me honestly whether the work needs to be done stat or if it can wait awhile. Most important to me is that they are honest & stand behind their work!!!

I'm fairly new to the area and haven't had to try out many mechanics yet but I'll definitely be coming back here next time I need help! Everyone was really nice and helpful. I brought my car in right when they opened with a mystery leak and no appointment and it was done by the afternoon

Completely disappointed with this shop. Pretending being my friends and dishonest from the beginning. I brought my car for an oil change, when I pick it up I realize there's a noise coming from the engine that wasn't before. I call them back to say that I'm not happy with the results and that there's something wrong. Instead of offering me to see what the problem is and try to fix it, they say they don't take any responsibility. I don't suggest this place to anyone.

super helpful. came in with a couple different issues and they were very thorough and attended to it right away. didn t charge for diagnostics either.
