They fixed up my Jaguar XJS to a treat. It had multiple issues, and the staff knew Jags well. Very friendly, professional staff. I'll be back to get the car serviced regularly

This is the second time in three months I've had Mitchell's Jaguar fix a problem with my XJ8 and once again I'm extremely impressed by the honesty of their service. Rather than trying to maximize their profits by sticking me with inflated estimates and repairs, they gave me a very fair and reasonable estimate and followed through with first-rate work. I don't often write reviews like this, but when I encounter conscientious business people, I gotta share it. I wish all the service folk I call on we're of this caliber, but few are. As long as I have Jags (which will be forever, since I love these driving machines), Mitchell's is getting all my business!

Been taking our Landrover for over 10 years to Mitchell's. Confident we get excellent service at reasonable prices. Ian knows his trade, is professional, prompt and stands by his repairs. Just got a new transmission because we can get another 100K miles out of our vehicle with his expert service over the years. (Currently have 167K miles on it).

Versus a dealer repair shop, the Gents over at Mitchell's are good mates who will give your Jag/rover (particularly vintage) the proper love and care deserved! -And not too hard on the budgie! Always cool to speak with, and never pretentious!

I was having issues with my 2008 Range Rover transmission and went to a Paul's transmission local repair shop who referred me to Mitchell's British Automotive. I went to Mitchell British Automotive and met Ian Mitchell who is the President, such a wonderful person, friendly, and very honest. He looked at my car and told me he would reset my computer in my car to resolved my problems. He did not even charge me, what shop does that these days. His service guy Ignacio was very friendly and helpful.If I could give 10 STARS they deserve and will be bring my car back for any issues with my vehicle. THANK YOU IAN

been to mitchell's several times. ian and the folks here know their stuff, and never once have i felt they have been anything other than forthright and honest about the repairs on my land rover. would recommend them without reservation for any of your british automotive repair needs!Service: Steering & suspension repairService: Steering & suspension repair

I must have done something right to find Ian, Glen and their amazing team at Mitchell's British Automotive in Culver City, CA. I am so thankful that I had my 2009 Jaguar serviced at Ian's shop. I was driving in from Arizona and my car died on the way. I had it towed in and Ian went right to work diagnosing the problems. I was on a time crunch and he totally understood my predicament. He had his professional team went right to work. Ian even keep in touch with me from home to let me know the progress of my vehicle and when the repairs would be completed. He went above and beyond by accomodating me with a loaner car, (free of charge) for the weekend! Ian understood my situation and made concessions that no other mechanic would make. I contacted the local Jaguar dealership before finding Ian. They kept me on hold, transferred me back and forth to voice mails and when I finally did reach a real person, Jaguar of Santa Monica never called me back!!! That's why I went to Ian's shop and thank glad I did. I live in Arizona and will drive the 6 hours just to have Ian service my car. I give him A+, 5/5, 100% satifaction!!! I can't thank Ian, Glen and their team enough for their kindness, professionalism, class, knowledge and expert service. If you want to get your vehicle serviced, call Ian or Glen. They are the best in the business and will treat you like they would like to be treated. Mitchell's British Automotive is a service center you can trust. I can't recommend them enough!!! Thanks Ian, Glen and your entire team!!! You guys are fantastic! I'll see you all soon! P.S. Ian also located a wheel cover that fell off before I left for California. He located a replacement on the internet and shipped it to my house for FREE! When I followed up on my next trip to California, I had a problem with my front grill. Once again, Ian came right out, fixed the grill. Again, for free! CHEERS, IAN!

I went in a couple times to ask for help with problems on Jaguar XK8's. It's unusual for me to feel good about an auto shop, to feel that they will solve my problem for an agreed fair price and be honest with me about what they propose, observe, and do.As usual, I concluded I couldn't trust my wallet to these guys. I felt I'd be at their mercy if I handed my keys over to them. So I didn't.

This shop has the absolute best customer and maintains honesty and dignity when dealing with customers. I've been to plenty of shops and the never have the right equipment, guessing on problem solving and lacks customer appreciation.When dealing with my car I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
