My car was having weird battery issues and I took it into M&N to get it checked out. They were able to fit me in the same day, which was a relief after having been rejected by a other auto shop nearby.Neff was super helpful and accommodating, and his crew took a look, ran testing, and couldn t find any battery or alternator issues. He called me to explain and didn t charge me at all. The other place I would ve taken my car to would have charged $285 just for diagnostics, so I m very grateful for M&N and their honesty and customer service!!

Reliable, honest, and affordable. I've been going to M&N for years, and they've provided exceptional service for both of my vehicles (a BMW 528, and Jeep Patriot). I'm not one to write reviews but I come to M&N for everything. They are honest, have an excellent work quality, and have been so helpful. They have always been willing to answer the (many) questions I have and have kept my vehicle running and in great shape. They have also been really good about notifying me when work will be approaching rather than forcing immediate replacement. This helps to so I can save and expect future repairs. Our experience with M&N was nothing short of excellent. I would consider Neff and crew the gold standard in auto shop customer service. Friendly, informative, straightforward, honest, fast, and quality work. Neff even went out of his way to contact the smog check shop we went to when they had a question about the California CARB-compliant catalytic converter installed by M&N. I came to these guys about 12 years ago and I literally have the best experience with a mechanic with them specifically these guys are fair straight up and they do the job right if there's any problems you can always bring it back and they will correct it very honest and forthcoming gentleman extremely professional I highly recommend this mechanic for all year detrimental maintenance and preventive maintenance needs I do. The owner's name is Miguel really kind-hearted guy and he has an employee named Neff truly sweet dude nice people in la I love them

Best auto body experience I ve ever had. I received an extremely questionable quote from a local jeep dealer, and when I spoke to Neff at M&N, he assured me that the quote I got was way off. He made room in the calendar for me to bring it in on a Monday of a holiday weekend. When I got there, he checked the car out immediately, showed me exactly what needed to be done, and completed the work that same day. Neff was extremely personable, trustworthy and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough about the consistent, friendly, efficient service that I receive each time I trust my vehicle with M&N for service. They are honest, pleasant, do excellent work, have offered me a loaner vehicle when available, and when they tell me my car will be ready on a certain date and certain time, they never disappoint. love love love them, and recommend them highly over any mechanic that I have been to over my many years of driving!

Neff is a very wonderful young man. I drove our 2005 Honda civic from Florida to bring to my daughter for college. Yesterday the engine light came on. M&N wasn't actually open on a Saturday to do service but Neff went out of his way to do a diagnostic on my car because I was so worried. He found it was a simple thermostat problem and reset it for me. He was very kind and showed concern for me in my situation and listened attentively. A rare gem to find. I asked how much I owed him and he declined payment. I can't say enough for his kindness. I am so glad I found them for any future problem my daughter may encounter. Over the years I've dealt with many shops and M&N was among the best of them. Their service and attention to detail was excellent. And their rates were less than the dealers.They've definitely become my go-to service provider for my 2005 Chrysler T&C Touring.

This is my 2nd time going to M&N for my routine car service. Quick, they don't try to cheat you, and very friendly! They sanitize the inside of the vehicle after they are done to ensure best practices. I have been frustrated with my experiences at nearby American Tire and saw this place had good reviews here on Google and give them a call. Immediately I felt valued as a customer they told me to come on by and even able to give me an estimate for this service I thought my car needed over the phone.Since I drove in Miguel who had spoken to it was there ready to take my keys as well as give me a very fair 2 hour estimate to do the work. He called me on time when the car was ready and picking it up with quick and easy as well.I'm a dog lover and their very friendly dog who was there to greet us is a plus as well.Getting into the shop is a little confusing since it's behind the address off the alley but other than that 5 stars in every possible way highly recommend and I will be back for both our cars. Great to support an independent business that clearly values their customers time and wallet.

We are from Bakersfield and our daughters car broke down at LAX, this was early in the evening so we left the car and went back the next day. After finding a tow truck willing and able to take the car (Thats another story). To make a really long story short we got the car to their shop at 12:00 and the shop closed at 2pm. They got the part delivered and of course fixed the car. The shop manager was super nice and VERY reassuring. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone .Service: Engine repair

Car stopped working while I was driving. I read good reviews about M&N and had my car towed there. They diagnosed my car and called me with a quote. My timing belt had broke. It was due for a change. I thought my car was toast because I have an interference engine. I rolled the dice because I was only going about 15 mph when it went out. I had them change it and within two days they had it running again. $647 for the labor and the parts to change out the water pump/timing belt and all the associated parts. Small price to pay instead of having to either buy another car or new engine. Thanks Miguel!

This place is the best!!!!Fast and thorough service, excellent customer service. Honest mechanics through and through. I have been coming here for years and they never steer me wrong. This is one of those places that doesn t try to add on any unnecessary repairs on you just to make more money. If you need a mechanic you can trust then you have found the place.

Honest and uses carfax so all work is done above board. Workmanship seems to be top notch though it's only been a week. I will update if that changes but so far, I see no reason that I would. Once a faulty alternator was determined to be the cause of my engine's sudden inability to turn over and start a replacement was quickly located & installed at a very fair price. They even topped off my fluids and installed a rather simple yet brilliant means for me to once again be able to open my trunk after the latch had stopped working months ago. Thank you so much for the speedy and helpful service!!

Car was running rough with no check engine light. Took car to dealer who said it was 'an electrical problem'. Of course they could not give me any idea of how much it would cost. Ended up going to M&N, Miguel found a loose camshaft sensor, tightened it and I was on my way. No charge! Great place. I know where to go for my next service.

Recently I purchased a Mercedes-Benz because I like the customer service. I already took it here and they were quick, professional, and printed out a clear invoice. I wish I found this place sooner, they know these cars and treat you well.

Tried M&N after unsatisfactory work from another place. I explained what I wanted, and M&N delivered exactly the work I requested and nothing more. They've been courteous and honest, and I've gone back for other services several times since.

They told me what was wrong (catalytic converter), and when I asked if I REALLY needed to fix it now, they gave me an honest answer of no. This never happens. If there's a better way to tell an honest mechanic, I don't know it. You can trust these guys.
