I think this is a pretty above average tire and lube shop. Owner is pretty personable. The staff aren t the friendliest or most attentive but they seem to do honest work. Wouldn t be hard for the staff to simply say hi or how can I help you when you arrive but they do work quickly here and are probably just focused on then cars.They first did an alignment for me on a 2020Hyundai I bought used which had major misalignment issues causing uneven tire wear. Pricing was good and the car drives fine. Only time will tell if tires are wearing evenly.More recently, I had a brake job done on my 2016 Subaru. They replaced my brake discs, installed new pads and did a brake fluid flush.Prices (mainly labor given I bought my own parts) were comparable to others in the area but 20% cheaper than dealers. That said, my brake fluid was dirty within 9 months and had to be replaced again. Might be something caused by the install, the fluid they used or maybe the environment but we really don t drive the car that much. The brakes and pads were installed fine though.Personally, I will probably try another shop out for brake work next time, just to see if there s improvement.On tires, their prices are high. I got a quote from them on Yokohama s for both of my cars and it was hundreds higher in total. To be fair, it s hard to compete as a single mom & pop shop. America s Tire (and Tire Rack online, both owned by the Discount Tire) is the absolute best local place to buy tires, though they re in Torrance. Worth the drive down as it s significantly cheaper with the largest inventory on hand and highest level of service.I think it s worth coming here if you live close by given the convenience. They work pretty efficiently and I never had to wait too long for my car. For my jobs, I d go grab a coffee or lunch down Washington and my car would usually be done within a couple of hours.

High prices. They charge $40 for tire rotation without balance. West Coast charges $30. They charge over $100 for tire rotation with balancing. West Coast charges $50. I have no affiliation with West Coast Tires. I just called both places because of their stellar reviews and was quite surprised by the high prices of this place.

BEST prices I have found in the city, and impeccable service and professionalism. No frills, no schemes, no fancy coffee in the waiting room to paper over a bad work ethic... these guys are competent and experienced people who clearly respect each other and work well together. Prices were $300+ below the competition and I checked around a lot. Competitive even when compared with out of state prices. No pressuring or salesmanship. They also fixed minor issues I had alerted them to while changing the tires at no cost. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for new tires or who needs their tires serviced. I rarely write reviews for anything besides restaurants, but there are so many scam shops in LA that I felt I'd help confirm all the other reviews (which is how I found Davis Brothers). I always suggest shopping around and getting second opinions when it comes to cars, but I suspect you'll come back to these guys. They are definitely going to be my goto tire shop for all my vehicles going forward.

I popped my tire down the street from Davis and frantically drove over, thinking this was gonna take all day and be overly expensive to repair. I was given immediate assistance, given a fair price, and in and out of there under 30 minutes. Everyone that assisted me, especially my mechanic Edgar, did an amazing job and I am so grateful I stumbled upon this place! Highly recommend

I had a great experience here. I called, they answered my questions, I showed up and I was in and out of there with a new tire in under 30mins. The staff are genuinely nice, too. I would recommend them to anyone!

Came here to have quote on tire. First everyone ignored me then later one guy came checked out the tire size and told me they don't got it. I don't know if it was lie but gave 2 star because possible was true.

Called ahead of time,was told they could help me. Get there twenty minutes later to find out they couldn't help until 3hrs later. Big disappointment,being i drove with a rear inside flat to there shop..

For the love of god take your car here. I went to two places and they either ignored me or were too busy. These folks brought me in and accommodated all my needs to get my new rims and tires on asap. No whining. No attitude. Just friendly and straight to business.Don t forget to tip

Bought new tires from Costco and called Ed Little Auto Repair to see who they recommended for tire alignments, they recommended Davis Bros. Tire Pros. I was not disappointed. They also replaced my right front rack boot that was leaking. The whole experience was very professional and the staff was very pleasant and gave me updates on the progress of my repairs. They also gave me a computer printout of my car's four tire alignments before and after the final alignments. I definitely will go back and will recommend to others. Thanks guys.

Amazing service. Took my Tesla Model 3 in to have my Passenger Rear tire repaired. They knew exactly what they were doing and explained the foam repair to me. Highly recommend this place if you're repairing a tire from your Tesla. The week prior I went to the Tesla service center on Centinela and they made excuses instead of making a repair. Ended up costing me a whole new tire. Cost here for a patch repair is $25 and it was $35 to repair my foam tire. Great workers and awesome business.

Call was answered on first ring.Was shown where to go as soon as I got in.Attendant was knowledgeable, responsive and very patient.Price was INCREDIBLE.I wish 6 stars was possible. They took what could have been a very stressful situation and made it easy, calm and relaxed. DO NOT LOOK INTO ANY OTHER TIRE SHOP. Save your time, money and stress and go to Davis Brothers.

This is one of the few places in LA that I don t feel is going to screw me over. They are straightforward and honest about the work they do. I ve already been there twice this year for pothole damage and they ve always work with me to keep the price down. Love these guys!

Ryan was very helpful in getting my aftermarket wheels and tires on my MINI! I dropped my vehicle off at 9am, and Ryan got the job done by lunchtime despite how busy they were. The people who work here are honest, and the prices are fair and reasonable. No wonder they've been in business since 1937!

After going to Davis Bros for over 2 decades they still take good care of me. I bought new tires there less than two months ago and unfortunately got a nail in two of them within weeks. They didn t gouge me for additional new tires like they easily and reasonably could have. Highest possible recommendation for Davis Bros!

WOULDN'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE, they've been FLAWLESSLY PROFESSIONAL, the decades I've gone there...have taken EVERY CAR I'VE OWNED to Davis Brothers... the guys in the office & the bay/pit, just sweethearts! I thank Ryan & his crew for a smooth - "sweet ride"...I'm floating on air once again!

I have no idea if they are good mechanic, because they didn't even take the time to analyze my car. I was referred to Davis by another shop and had an appointment for my car that I believed had an alignment issue. Unfortunately it was a rainy day, but I choose not to cancel and took the risk to drive with a car that veered to the left. The mechanic at Davis said they were too busy , never test drove the car and guessed that it has a torque steer issue and wasted my time with their "What do you want" attitude

Davis bros tires thanks for the years of service! I've been coming here from countless tires, countless punctures as well as my brother and mom coming here for service and it's always been consistently great service. I remember I had a GTI and you guys recommended michellin pilot sport tires. Pricing has been upfront from what I remember. That was the most fun I've had and most safe I've felt driving. Another time someone hit that same car and Davis brothers came to the rescue. There was a bent suspension part causing the wheel to be skewed. You were able to repair it quickly and make it even better than before. Thank you truly a gem and a community lucky to have a great family business

Don t buy new tires here! Bought tires from these guys and 3.5 years (less than 40,000 miles) later the tires were trash and needed to be replaced (all 4 were in the red). Needed new ones and they did absolutely nothing to help me. They didn t offer anything. I will not go back or recommend these for buying tires. The servicing guys are great and we re always very nice which is why I put an extra star. But I would not suggest buying new tires from these guys unless you want to keep buying new tires every three years (more often if you drive a lot)

LOVE this place. I have gone to them for all sorts of reasons in a few different vehicles. They have done brakes, alignments, tires, even helped me diagnose why my truck suspension was squeaking. They are priced fair, and they do the job quick. I highly recommend this shop as your local mechanic. AND they are walking distance from my house which makes dropping off vehicles a breeze. Talk to Ryan and he will get you all sorted out. Thanks guys!

I've driven past this place a million times and always thought it looked like a classic, old school tire shop. I never had a reason to stop in until today. I came out of work, and my tire was flat. I got enough air in it to limp over to Davis Bros hoping they could patch me up and get me on my way home before traffic turned into a total nightmare.I got there and the place was packed, but the counter person (who I would assume is either the manager or owner) was super cool and acted like he actually cared about my situation. I started to explain, "I was at work all day and I have a dog at home which is an hour away and...""He needs to go out to pee." (The guy finished my sentence for me.) Long story short, he got me in a stall right away. The tech was awesome and super friendly and even checked the air pressure in my other tires while he was waiting on the glue on the patch to cure.This place is the kind of place I would hope my girlfriend or Mom pulled into if they were in an emergency. These guys know their stuff, get the job done right, and charge fair prices. Very impressed.

I drive a Silverado 1500 and my tires were completely gone, Ryan helped me find the right tire for hauling and even gave me tons of options and price points keeping the application and my wallet in mind. Before I could finish ordering my burrito from a restaurant suggested by him the truck was finished and ready to go. Not only will this be my shop for life but I have to suggest Davis Bros. Tires to my family and friends and anyone else who appreciates warm friendly speedy service.And just a F.Y.I *El Rio Bravo* has really good food, great spot to wait.

This place has out standing service! Not only are the reasonable and fair in prices but they are kind and honest. I came to this place for a second opinion because the dealer ship racked up a bill of over 500 telling me I needed this and that replaced. Came to Daves and they inspected my vehicle at no cost and they saved me 100s, by telling me what was needed and what wasn't and even told me that the certain things the dealership was saying I needed I actually had another year of use-incredible! They got me in the next day and absolutely happy with my service and the price for my breakes was the best I found and I did a lot of looking. This place has integrity making this my #1 spot for breakes, tires and small stuff!Thank you Daves Brothers!
