Quick and efficient. We got everything we needed, and it did not take very long. The building was not very welcoming, but that is to be expected. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the long wait time to get the ID we came for.

I'm on the good driver list and I recognized that my license when I renewed it was only for four years, not five as usual. Also a eorker took a falsied smog report when I registered my last car that was towed two years ago, I got a bill for tags, which isn't my responsibility but those who bought my car. New system in person is good service these days

Seriously, the DMV in this town is worth moving here for.If you want to get something done in, say San Francisco or Redwood City, you have to take the day off work. You are going to be standing in a line that wraps around the city-block-size building for hours. And if your entire transaction can't be processed at a single window in one pass, you will need to go through the "take a number, wait to be called" cycle several times.I had a complicated task to accomplish involving two vehicle registrations, two separate vehicles, and an out of state transaction with the manufacturer tying them together. I walked in on a whim, was served immediately, handed the necessary forms AND A PEN, directed to a table and chair where I could fill them out, and told to bring them back to the clerk when done. Which I did. And that was that!I double dog dare you to attempt that anywhere else in California.

I made an appointment to upgrade my driver's license to a REAL ID. I arrived early and they helped me immediately.They are so efficient! I remember when DMV was the slowest place in the world. You had to take a book to read and plan on waiting hours. Not this time.There were only a few people in the waiting area, even though it was 2 in the afternoon. It appeared all were being helped or were doing something like filling out forms.I was impressed with how this agency has improved its service. My number was called before I even sat down to wait. The person who helped me was friendly, professional, helpful and smart. Her cubicle was orderly and neat.I could not believe I was out of there within 15 minutes, and my REAL ID was approved and will arrive by mail soon.Kudos to California DMV for really improving my whole experience!

They don't seem to be understaffed at all, they got five or six people working there but only one doing the window and working on registration issues. Actually that's not completely true, they have one other person sitting down but that's the receptionist to give you your number. I went in there to simply submit documents and after I got called it still took 15 minutes. She did this and she did that and she got up and made copies and went and talk to people and had a little conversations and laughed about her night last night blah blah blah they have no need to get you through there fast because at 5:00 they're done no matter what. Worst customer service place I've ever been in my life.

The best DMV I have ever been to. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I always do walk-in and never had waited more then 10 minutes before being helped. I like the fact they have a person at the door to make sure you have all proper documents before proceeding to the counter. Thank you and keep up the good work!!!!

The DMV Office is frequently busy.I've been in 6 different California DMV Offices. As a generalization, I've never been in the office for anything less than 2 hours.Until today. In and out in about 35 minutes!Fridays are usually packed.The first time I went in for not completing registering my vehicle... It was due last August. 15 minutes.About 20 minutes for a second visit. The second time was for the "Real ID", which is nothing more than a cash grab by the bureaucrats.See, they required a birth certificate and social security card when I first applied for a California ID Card. I had to submit both of those and a utility bill showing my home address to get my California Driver License.That was +/- 35 years ago...So, my take?Service was excellent and unusually fast!Those ladies at work on Friday (February 12, 2021 - Crescent City, California) were just flying through clients!I hope everyone has this kind of service at least one time!

They removed the number system off the wall so now the line goes out the door. There is a female worker in here that for the last 25 minutes has not helped anyone, it's like she is lost, she might not even work here, but she is walking around behind the desk. I showed up this morning and there was a line out of the building of more than 20 people, and no one has been helped yet.

The staff was fast and efficient and knowledgeable. Very helpful and curtious. I had several issues to address and was out the door and legally on the road in no time.

After being hit in a car accident in 2017, the man continues to harass us. Never be kind to an old DRUNK. They owe too many people.

Let's be honest, any given trip to DMV could be a breeze or an absolute nightmare but both times I've visited this DMV I was helped by friendly/patient staff and my visit was brief and hassle-free despite it being so busy. Look up directions if you're not familiar with the location as I can see it being a bit difficult to locate the first time

In and out half the time I go there. Always helpful and very quick. Oh and they have a great sense of humor. I will miss that place.

My experience this morning was great All the staff there were friendly and efficient and I was in and out in less than half an hour with 6 people ahead of me in line.

Wanted to sign up for paperless. Couldn't do it on line, got no help from the office the didn't have the knowledge or motivation to sign me up

I went in to get car registrations & address change . in & out 5 minute the most. It would have took me two hours in San Jose. Gals were extra professional & friendly.

Never thought I'd do this, but I'm leaving a 5 star review for... A DMV.Super helpful, they went way our of their way to help and give us the information we needed and were happy and cheerful.
