Bought a used motor for an 07 jk a couple years ago and great deal even though 07 jk's suck I should've put a hemi in it but it's was a POS. I wish they put hemi's or ls's in xj's they would have a customer but I will never own a jk or newer jeep.

I had a vehicle come in to be finished that a previous shop couldn't get to run.The vehicle is a 2011 JKU 6.4 8HP70 swap using Todd's kit. I tried for 3 days to try and get in contact with him via multiple emails and phone calls. The most I ever got from him in an email was a BOM list that you can find on his poorly setup website and 3 different responses that said "go to our youtube page". When i was eventually able to get him on the phone he was little to no help at all. He told me that the TCM flash for the PCS translator was his own software that he and his wife have been developing and improving for 3-4 years and once i flash it then my TCM and ECU should be talking with each other which they did not. After flashing i called him back to try and get a little more help troubleshooting we spoke for about 5 minutes to which he ended the phone call with "I have my owe stuff to worry about. Bye!" and hung up on me.The TCM flash that he has been 'developing' isn't even his software. It's software built by Squire Incorporated.If you're thinking of using Todd and his product I would highly highly recommend NOT wasting your money and time. Todd is ALL talk and NO walk.If you are doing any sort of Hemi/V8 and 8 speed swap into your jeep I would suggest that you get in contact with Dan of Dakota Customs out of Blackhawk South Dakota. I spoke with him today and he said Todd does nothing but lie and cheat people. Dan was very helpful in getting me headed in the right direction to be able to not only finish this build, but most importantly getting it finished correctly

Just wanted to publicly thank Liz Custer and Todd Custer from the Jeep Speed Shop for their help troubleshooting my 8 speed transmission/ valve body last night and today. It s not every day that you find business owners that treat customers like family. I very much appreciate you both always taking the time to help me with my build.If you are in the market for jeep parts , hemi swaps, 8 speed conversion kits ect the jeepspeedshop is the best shop out there !!!! Before I buy anything for my jeep their shop is my first stop.I am not sponsored or affiliated with them at all, just a very happy customer that wanted others to know that there are still shops/businesses out there that care about customers.

Hats off to Todd what a fantastic job he did on my 07 Jeep JKU! I went with the 5.7 VVT Hemi truck engine with 8 speed transmission and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I just got my rig back last week the sound of the V8, the smoothness of the 8 speed with manual sifter and all the powers I'm gained makes my Jeep become one of the bests around. It's also 100% Carb legal, which is a big deal for me since I'm from Cali. The customer service was outstanding and the communication was great! Todd's been sending me the WIP pictures during the entire process. He even posted a video on YouTube and IG to show off my 8 speed. All in all, I'm beyond happy and so glad that I went with JSS for this project! Again, thank you Todd and Liz for everything you've done and I just hope your shop is closer to me! :)

Called about a replacement radiator for my 2008 JK with a 5.7 hemi. Todd has custom made aluminum radiators in stock for both truck and car motors. Everyone else is in production and 4 weeks out. Met me on a Saturday night at 7pm, opened up his shop so I could pick up the radiator I needed to get my Jeep back on the road ASAP! Great customer service, great experience, thanks Jeep Speed Shop!

No purchase made yet, but the owner was an open book. Answered all of my questions, gave me great advise on swapping my jeep. When the time comes, I'll prolly just take the jeep them to complete the job. After pricing everything out on my end, this shop is offering a great value. His parts mark up doesnt too far off from buying everything from the dealer. Id have to say the Jeep Speed Shop immediately built trust with me.

JSS is working on my Jeep now and the owner/operator has been very transparent throughout the project and straight forward with what to expect and potential issues we may run into given we are squeezing a Corvette motor between two hoops, installing a York compressor and a Premier Power Welder among other engine compartment real estate hogs. I have outsourced many shops over my 20+ years of experience and you can almost always expect delays, issues arising and whatnot but be patient and understanding and I don't think you will have issues with this business. It's tough to please everyone but at this point I am glad I made the decision to use JSS for my complex conversion.

Got a 2012 wrangler with a dc hemi swap. Motor was clearly missing and running rough. After learning it was a bad ecu, and the other guy were out of stock for weeks. I thought, what the hell, let s see what Todd and Liz say. Turns out. Not only did I get Liz on my first call, she did have an ecu. She matched my quote from the other guy. And even offered shipping today .I opted for over night, cause my luck was sure to run out soon.Just as she promised. Fed ex at my house In Georgia 14hrs later. Installed and again just like she said ..fired right up no check lights Now that s service Todd and Liz, thank you for quality stuff and even better support Services: Auto engine tuning, Engine repair

I purchased hemi swap kit from Jeep Speed Shop. My experience was great. Liz and Todd gave great technical support for there products, Had a technical issue over the weekend and shot a text message not expecting a reply till the weekday. out of the blue I got a call from Todd and Liz and they walked me through the issue on a Sunday. Great customer service.

I have used Jeep Speed Shop over the years for many upgrades and services to my Jeep. Everyone there is beyond knowledgeable and has always been great to work with. Everything from my Coil Overs to Skid Plates and even my tune up and oil changes. They have always been there for me and a pleasure to work with.

Ok, full disclaimer as I always do before leaving a review: I am a SEO Engineer per career. No career better understands the impact of reviews on business, therefore my reviews are always honest and based on my personal experience with said business.That said, JeepSpeedShop (Todd) is a shady businessman at best. He has obviously been busy trying to bury old reviews (all horrible) which are clearly still relevant reviews to how he conducts his business. Maybe the business is better in person, but I highly recommend not giving any of your money for products from him over the internet. He is extremely prompt in replying to any questions you may have before making a purchase from him, but after, well herein exists the problem. My wife and I paid over $900 for product from him and fast forward over two weeks later we heard nothing, not one word, not even a "hey we got your money and said product will ship at or around such and such date", just nothing. So of course I began to email him, over and over, and no response. Mind you he was very responsive before getting my money so I decided while being ignored to ask other unrelated questions from the same email account and guess what, I got prompt replies every time. So Todd was obviously receiving my inquiries about the $900 given to him and he simply chose to ignore them, every single time. Thats when I decided to read ALL his reviews and found the buried (reaL) reviews of others going through the exact same problem. I then decided to let him know by email why ignoring me was a bad idea and I got a response that time, he cancelled my order. I say good. When I give someone my hard earned money they dam well better be over the top responsive until I receive said product because giving someone money for product and not getting said product (or worse, ignored) well that is just plain theft, period. So as I said originally, this man is shady, AT BEST. I do not recommend giving this man one dime for a product and will make sure the entire internet is aware of my story and the many others stories that have been buried.

I have bought several kits from Todd and he has been great. The kit is a DIY kit and there are several videos on you tube that help tremendously. For me personally I have to watch someone rather then read on paper. Patience is the key he is only 1 person trying to keep the cost down for you the consumer. I didn't expect him to return my call ASAP but he did return all my calls or text. If you want the best kit call Todd he will help you every step of the way.

Purchased an 8 speed swap kit from Jeep Speed Shop, ran into some self inflicted issues during install. Jeep Speed Shop was willing to provide feedback on troubleshooting path and went out of their way to accommodate my situation. I needed some special care for my classic'86 CJ7. Todd and his crew are amazing. They are both knowledgeable and skilled with Jeeps. This is not an after market store trying to sell you a bunch of stuff. They completely understand Jeeps and know how to work on them. Great job on my rig.

Todd and Liz were super helpful. My 3.6 quit and a shop in Los Gatos referred me to JSS. They said, "If anyone can help you, it is Todd."I called that same morning and Todd talked me through my best options and we agreed on an engine replacement and a time to get it done.I was a little concerned that my first experience was going to cost me a bunch of cash and it was my first experience replacing an engine in any vehicle I own.Arriving at JSS, I was impressed. Jeeps of all kinds and some pretty bad**s projects going on. I immediately knew Todd could handle my swap.We had another long chat, Todd took a peek under the hood and saw I had some new additions to the Jeep. Not a problem!Got my Jeep back in the specified time he said and I am completely happy. I'm a patient guy and JSS is the perfect place. My emergency was my problem and Todd rescued my Jeep.Loved talking Jeeps, seeing everything in the shop and planning a couple of trail runs.JSS is over 100 miles from my house and I will not hesitate to do business there again. All I need, now, is another reason to have JSS do some more work on my rig.Thanks Todd and Liz!

I've only had to deal with this shop twice now and both times over the phone. First time around was in 2019 had no issues placing an order on a few hoods for a Jeep.Recently what I've noticed is lack of response or turn around time has gotten worse. They seem to be great people if only could turn around a little quicker.Thanks

I purchased a 5.7 vvt kit for my 2016 jku from Todd. Everything works perfect. His customer service was far above what one would expect. Thanks Todd for everything and we look forward to getting another one moving again really soon.

I gave them my 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport and they replaced the weak V6 engine with a powerful 5.7 Hemi and made my factory cruise control and Air Conditioning work. They also replaced the stock axle with 4:88 Dynatrac Dana 60 s and the jeep wants to wheelie now. The 8 speed automatic is very impressive. I love driving this jeep anywhere now. There were a few challenges but Todd and Liz bent over backwards to make everything right. I highly recommend this shop.Brian

Bought a HEMI Swap kit to put a 2019 5.7L Hemi and 65rfe transmission in my 07 Rubicon. Todd helped out along the whole way and gave lots of good recommendations to make the swap easier, kit works perfect and was easy to install, shipping was quick and im even up north in canada. Great Service keep it up Todd

Excellent service and communication - highly recommended if you want to put a Hemi V8 in your Wrangler. Todd and his crew were able to fix issues from another shop that did my original Hemi conversion which failed emission testing in CO. For over a year the original shop was not able to get my Jeep to pass emissions. Todd is the expert on CARB certified and emission compliant Hemi engine conversions. I now have a completely legal and beautiful Hemi JK. If you are going to put a Hemi engine in your Jeep, you should do it with Jeep Speed Shop as it will be done right and will be legal and pass emission testing the first time. I am in the early stages of gathering information and parts for a 392 Hemi swap on a Jeep JK. I consider myself very lucky to have had the fortune to discover JEEPSPEEDSHOP. Todd and Liz are fantastic to work with. They always go out of their way to accommodate the customers needs and always have an answer to my questions, be it a simple inquiry or a more complex technical question. When these items are being shipped 4100 kilometers there is no room for error and that is where the professionalism of JEEPSPEEDSHOP shines through. This Shop knows their stuff. I had an issue with my ABS sensor that 3 other locations could not resolve fixed here last week. They only had my Jeep for an hour and figured out the issue. I can't say thank you enough to Todd and his team for the excellent customer service. I will no longer have to wonder where to take my Jeep because this is the only shop I will go to now. Don't waste your time and money at any other shop and just bring your Jeep here where they specialize in Jeeps and you will not be dissapoited. Thank you again Jeep Speed Shop.

Absolutely amazing. If you look back at older reviews you'll see they went through a slump. Some bad staff left a few customers unhappy, but all of that has changed after management went through the business and wiped the slate clean. Now, they are once again the best engine swap experts for Jeeps HANDS DOWN.In my case, the most recent project was a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon (not much left of the Rubicon though). 6.4 SRT Hemi Swap, Auto, Atlas 4 Speed. They not only tackled that with beautiful precision and an absolutely factory look, but they also took care of a half dozen other issues such as cleaning up some wiring from the previous owner, fixing ebrake issues, and much more.Their communication has been stellar. Their professionalism amazing. And the quality of work is beyond words. If you are looking for an engine swap, do not pass Go, do not collect $200, call these guys ASAP and do whatever you can to let Todd do this for you.

Very disappointed in working with Todd at JSS. He has the worst customer service of any Jeep shop I have ever seen.I highly recommend not buying from JSS. Todd will be more than happy to take your money, but will give you excuse after excuse on getting your parts. That's if he actually responds to you.I have been waiting weeks for just a response on when my computer and harness will ship. I am on try number 6 and guess what, no response.So far of the 3 Hemi swaps going on at Stomper Off-Road, all three have been a disaster with no help from Todd...

I bought a jeep that had a hemi conversion done. Not by him but his parts. The previous shop had nothing but troubles with the computer. The vehicle has a manual transmission but Todd has been trying to make an automatic transmission computer work. The vehicle would start and run when I got it but would only rev to 3000 rpms or less. I called Todd he said yes he has a fix for that now.7 weeks go by and still had not got my computer back, he wouldn't answer texts or calls. He finally gave me a date he would send it back, 2 weeks later and many unanswered calls and texts I finally got it back.Problem now... it won't even crank over or start if I jump starter! I messaged him back and his response was bummer!Stay away from this con-man! Read his reviews!

Todd and Liz are awesome. Great technical support. I had 1 month to order the kit and complete the swap. I achieved this! I cant suggest JSS enough.
