Went there a few weeks ago without an appointment and asked the maintenance staff to put air in my tires. I called before I went in and they said that was fine. I arrived and they fixed my tire pressure problem super quickly and they were very kind.

Horrible customer service! First, I went to drop off and nobody knew anything and there were no signs where to drop your car off or where to go. Then, they gave me an estimate for a clicking noise I was having which I have heard was an issue for Tesla. They charged me instead of it being a warranty issue. They also charged me to check my brakes and charged me a diagnostic fee. Who does that? Charging to check my brakes is insane. Also, there is no way to communicate with them other than text on the app. They will give you a phone number to call but it goes to central Tesla headquarters and you can t speak to anyone. What a sloppy mess with customer service.Lastly, after spending $600, they don t even charge your car or give you a courtesy wash. Even Chevy does these things. Shame on Tesla. At least I know now never to bring my car to Tesla for service again. Wow

I went on my app today to book a time for service on my new Tesla model Y Performance. Got a reply back from one of the service guys telling me that I don t have to come in for regular tire rotations for the performance model. I was shocked at the honesty of a service place. In the past, I ve always had to pay more than what I expect for service at a car dealership/ mechanics shop. First time ever that someone in service department has ever saved me money. He did mentioned that performance models do wear out the back tires fast so keep an eye out for the wear/tear.

Came in today to replace the roof glass on my Tesla Model 3 that had been cracked by a rock on the freeway. My service advisor Alejandro was fantastic, and the replacement was complete in only 3 hours. Highly recommend this service center for any issues you might have though, in my experience, these cars are very trouble-free.

I only had a brief conversation with them to locate a nearby Cyber Truck on display. The guy was super helpful. My 6 year old finally got to see the Cyber Truck in person.

Had a pricy repair here $4k+ when my wife went to pick up the car the service man didn t walk her out to even show her where the car was, left the car with a very low charge and didn t even give it a courtesy exterior wash. Car had hand prints from the mechanics all over it. You would think if you re spending that type of money there would be some sort of customer service. Honda gives a car wash when you bring a car in for a $50 oil change. Very disappointed with the customer service from this locations luxury car brand

I dropped my car to fix loud creaks of the front suspension. It was not fixed and I tried at the Santa Ana service (was fixed after 3rs appointment).During this service they hit my car. Such thing could happen with everyone. I told them it's ok as long as they fix everything and return it as it was before. They were fixing it about a month (front bumper, left light and fender). After that I had 3 appointments to align gaps after their work. I was ok if it was slightly misalignment. But it was disaster. Inch size gaps and huge misalignments.I decided to change the service center (they partially managed to fix issues)UPDATE 11/09/2022:The loud creaks came back again :) the technician told it was again issue with stabilization bar which was replaced 2 months ago.Just smile :)

Service drop off was great. The advisor was on point from the beginning. Correct remote diagnosis. Everything was prepared ahead of time and he already had a loaner ready for me. In and out in a minute.Pickup was not so great. Although my car was ready, no one seemed to know that. No communication between the people out front and the people inside. They cover the drivers seat but the uncovered areas were left dirty. And the car came back with uneven tire pressures. Just sloppy.Services: Electrical repair, Tires

I was calling the service center to get the info on my guarantee for the windshield. After a few attempts, I have no way to talk to anyone. It's a big waste of time trying to get any help from this line.

Tesla will make YOU pay if your vehicle is damaged while under their care.I dropped a brand new Tesla Model Y off for service under their 7-day, 100 mile policy. We went through the list and noted the issues. After my appointment, I left the car with Tesla, was given a loaner and was on my way.Two hours later, I get a call saying that someone else hit my vehicle and damaged it, requiring a repair over $1200 for a new front bumper.Tesla refuses to accept responsibility and has been ignoring my calls. They're sending me the bill demanding payment. They're threating to charge me $100/day until I return the loaner vehicle and accept the damaged car from their center.Nate Lopez, the Service Supervisor, is the one who has been handling this issue.I would advise anyone trying to get their vehicle worked on should avoid this service center.Be warned and know that any unforeseen damage to your vehicle is YOUR responsibility to pay for when you leave it with Nate Lopez and this service center.Service: Body & Trim

Took a while but service agent found out that I couldn t pick up my signature wall charger there. While waiting, without an appointment, an experienced tech took my frunk apart and checked the sensors for any disconnections that may have caused the error message I was getting. This was slightly past their closing time the tech tried their best and then finally stated that an appointment was required and gave me a hand written note to provide during my appointment of what he checked as well as the error code and time stamp from the car s logs.Watching how careful he was with the parts made me confident about having my car serviced their in the future. Only they were too backlogged and I instead had to make an appointment at the new location in Walnut instead.

Ran into two issues with this service center.1) They were to fix passenger door closing issue on my brand new car but the service person told me that they have fixed and tried to falsely and politely trick me into believing that door was fixed. He later accepted that this problem exists with some cars and it may get fixed by itself after a couple of months.2) Since I was going to be there for repair, Tesla Mobile repairman suggested that they can install HomeLink as well and I dont have to go through the hassle of ordering online and then visiting a service center. Neither the original mobile repair guy and nor the onsite service guy told me that there was extra charge for NOT ordering online and having them do it. I later found out and when I called them to remove the unnecessary extra charge of 90 dollars, they refused to do so, since I purchased HomeLink through them instead of online. Service person acted like a teenager on the call while his manager, though a good listener, had no authority to remove the unnecessary charge.Bottomline, new Tesla customers, watch out every step of the way. Its not your usual Toyota, Honda, BMW, Mercedes world that appealed to masses. Another mobile repair man is on the way to fix another issue and it will be 3rd visit in 33 days of owning the car. :(Services: Electrical, Body & Trim

Farzin Morena, a service manager with poor attitude and unprofessional estimate/judgement about vehicle's problem.1. Our Tesla 2019, the problem is tire's sensor pressure was not operating properly and showing that tire pressure is low.2. Technician Eric Carrillo checked and told us: "your tire sensor was damaged due to a patching/fixing (nail hole), the warranty is void"3. We request to talk to the manager, Farzin Morena, he insisted that the "fluid" when patching the tire made the tire sensor bad.4. We called Tesla customer service and they said "Nothing we could do, we can not override the service department's authority for a wrong estimate..."5. Manager Farzin added:"the patching for the tire was very cheap and it damages the tire sensor, you guys have a job done by someone did not know what they were doing, you should have bring it into Tesla ...(for a flat tire...?). Farzin asked: "you like the cheap way, that was why it was happened, if you want to get this fix the right way, you must paid $464.00 which include new sensor, new tire and labor cost."6 We declined the service, we bought the tire sensor for $75 and went to America's Tire and have them installed, we confirmed with the technician is there anyway that when patching/fixing tire (for a nail hole) causing the tire sensor defected. The technician said never hear or notice that in 20 years.7. We went to 2 more places America Tire Depot and Tire Metro and asked the same question, they all response: " we have been fixing nail holes for customers everyday and never damage tire sensors at once."8. Tesla's tire sensors cover with rubber to protect (see pictures), we do not know how it was damaged by liquid like they have said? what were mentioned by the Tesla manager Farzin Morena and Technician Eric Carrillo, in what ways that they came to the conclusion that we have damaged the sensor or they just tried to ignore the warranty and tried to push customer away from Tesla's reputation.9. After more than 1 month installing new tire sensor (with same old tire), the car work great. (without replace new tire as they required for fixing)10. We are really disappoint for Tesla's company, they have hired wrong people to work with poor customer's service and terrible skills, (uneducated estimate), this will affects Tesla brand plunging down badly.

I love my Teslas, but this service center customer service has gone downhill since they moved their sales office to Tustin/Irvine on Barranca. It seems like the customer service is non existent and motivation is not there to help you because they might close the location down or something.Created service ticket for my charging issue. Tesla remotely diagnosed the issue and was scheduled to bring it in. Rescheduled several times between in house and mobile service. Decided to have mobile service ended up arriving late. They cancelled my original appointment and made me recreate a new service request and having to re-explain the whole issue again on a new request. Scheduled and reschedule between in service and mobile. Finally brought it in and they ended up doing nothing when the approval for the repair request generated by Tesla's clearly says they will replace the charging port on the car. Had screenshot of the issue and logged in the car. I'm sure Tesla remote diagnostics has the information of the errors as well.If it was mobile service they would have replaced the charge port and be done with it. Downplayed with maybe it's just a software bug you don't have to worry. Excuse after excuse.Steve, the service manager that handled the in service request says "Oh let me know which Super charger station you are having issues with so I can log it" pretending to really be concerned but it's just a passive aggressive way to down play and brush you off. Turns out the guy didn't log the issue until I reminded him through the app because there is a trail through the app. Still not confident if the guy did anything. Steve actually had the audacity to say "Maybe Tesla is not the car for you".I'll be avoiding this service center for future requests like the other reviews suggested and use the Santa Ana location instead.

Unfortunately teslas are mass produced and poorly assembled with many flaws. I ve had my Tesla since sept 2022 and it s been in and out of this service center multiple times with nothing ever being fixed correctly. Still has a ton of issues that I hope I can get resolved before the warranty ends. It s frustrating as I love my Tesla but they are in the shop way too soon in ownership and I find myself majorly inconvenienced by having to take the vehicle in often only to not have it fixed correctly. All of the negative reviews are very relatable. I also do not like that I can t choose my service advisor and you get whoever is available when showing up. It s hit or miss with these guys. It s important to establish good customer care by allowing the customer to use the same person they have a rapport with each time.

I have a tesla y 2022 performance. 11k miles. Started shaking at 70mph+. Googled the problem and it was clearly a foam detachment issue. Took it to the costa mesa tesla in calfornia. Tech agreed, they all acted hush hush in a weird way because they know this happening a lot.All of sudden they want charge 600+ to put new tire. 275 diagnostic fee, 80 dollar labor. A car not even 9 months out, 11k miles, no accidents, normal driving. Total scam, they kept changing price saying maybe they could do this and that. Finally just said give car back.Went to big 0 tires, got the foam out for 35 bucks, no more shaking.Tesla knows these tires have problems and they are taking no responsibility for it. SMH.NO transparency in pricing just all scams. Thought tesla would be different than other dealerships but they are worse because they think you will be too afraid to take the car anywhere else!Go elsewhere!

I really like Tesla Costa Mesa Service Center. Both times i was here for my Model Y and 3 services, i was heplped by Hector and Steve and they were both super helpful, tentative and professional. So far, i have not seen any of the bad customer sevice from the SA like many others had said. Keep doing what you're doing!!! Thanks!!!

Immaculate new and freshly detailed car at drop off. Atrociously dirty (inside) and dirty outside when ready for pick up. As a TSLA stock holder and first time Tesla owner, I am very disappointed.

I unfortunately have had two poor experiences getting my Tesla serviced here, and will be avoiding this location for future repairs. I have no desire to bash the service, but I do intend to be honest about my experience.I dropped it off for two issues: water leaked through the roof into the interior, and there was a rattle in my windshield camera fixture. After the first 3 days they had the car (which involved very poor communication), I picked it up and immediately noticed a lot of dirt on the rear headliner. It s like the mechanics were working on all the interior with dirty hands. Once I started driving, I noticed a lot of loud buzzing coming from the subwoofer area. My model y was 3 weeks old and had NO buzzing prior to service. After service the buzz was so loud and noticeable that I had to completely disable the subwoofer. The next day, I took my car through a car wash and water still leaked into the interior. Additionally, I was trying to clean the windshield and noticed I couldn t because the mechanic got some sort of oily smudge on the INTERIOR glass of the windshield camera box (which I do not know how to take off). So basically. After three days of service, I picked up my Model Y with more issues than when I dropped it off. At least the windshield camera stopped buzzing.Attempt 2) I dropped it off again since it was still leaking and the speaker was buzzing. Three days later I picked it up and now noticed a large water stain on the back rear headliner (they must ve gotten it wet while testing as this was an area where it was not originally leaking). Additionally they said they fixed the speaker buzz, but I can t imagine they even tested it because I immediately noticed it was still an issue on almost any song. In fact, I think it only got worse. I was thankfully able to go through a car wash without any leaks after the second repair.I now have to book a THIRD Tesla service appointment within 2 months of ownership because Tesla service Costa Mesa was unable to do quality work on my service appointments. My service leads, Jonathan and Brock, were pleasant to interact with in person. But communication with Jon was completely non-existent after initial day of service, and I had similarly unpleasant experiences with Brock (through the tesla app).I would advise you take your tesla elsewhere.

DO NOT USE FOR SERVICE. I absolutely love my Tesla Model X and I am a huge fan of Tesla all together, but their service support is terrible. Especially for parts of their car they don't directly make. I recently went in for warranty service on the car. They did the warranty repair for the car, but they told me my tires needed to be replaced. So I forked out $1600 to replace my 4 Model X tires. NEVER BUY TIRES FROM TESLA!!!!! It has been 3 months and 6k miles and my rear tires are badly worn down and front ones are almost new. I firmly believe that the rear tires were either worn down or faulty. What's worse is that Tesla REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING! They told me that they do NOTHING to support tires they sell and install. In fact I spoke to one tech on the side and he confirmed that customers should NEVER buy tires from Tesla. I tried to talk to a manager and none would talk to me. I then tried to call Tesla and that is another nightmare. You CANNOT get any human to answer the phone at Tesla customer service. So while they work hard to be friendly and sell you a care, good luck with the service it's terrible. Oh and lastly, while there are many things you don't have to do with a Tesla vs gas car like hoses, oil, belts, etc; be warned they EAT TIRES LIKE NONE OTHER! I usually get at most 6-8 months on a set, but this time i didn't even get 3 months!Services: Tires, Body & Trim

Went there due to a roadside service - a flat tyre. Smile welcome with a kind understanding of my situation. The engineer was also great with detailed explanation. Got the service done only about an hour even at the busy Monday. Thank you team, you guys saved my almost ruined holiday.

My wife and I have leased a Tesla in March 2021 from this place, and since then we LOVED our car until we moved out of state.... In January 2022, my wife and I notified Tesla that we were moving to Florida, then, they "started" the process to transfer the registration to Florida and were promised that it would only take 4-6 weeks to have the document ready. Guess what??? it's been 4 MONTHS and this is our second time extending our temporary license plate in the state of Florida (30 days each) ..Now, the second and last temporary license plate is about to expire and we won't be able to drive the vehicle anymore, meanwhile, Tesla is still charging us every month...1) The only way to reach out to Tesla Finance is through email, because when you call them, the only department that answers the phone is the sales department, how predicable is that?2) We have sent countless emails, and all we hear back is a somewhat automatic email stating "Thanks for your patience, bla bla bla", but they do not call, nor have any useful information when they do email us back, on rare occasion.3) We are so disappointed of how Tesla has been treating us... It's unbelievable what they are doing to us...4) Now, my wife and I will have to RENT a vehicle, because we cannot afford to have our credit score being pulled at this moment because we purchased a home.5) My wife went to the Orlando Tesla Location at the Florida Mall, and the sales person/agent from Tesla "helped us", and stated that the finance department would be calling us in the same day.. Guess what? It's been 2 days and NOTHING! We do not know what to do.Thank you,Tesla Customers.

The absolute worst service center and experience.Dropped my brand new model y P in for its first service to fix panel gaps and suspension issues.1 week goes by and I get a call that they damaged the trunk and have to repaint it. 2 weeks now and my car is still not finished. Communication is little to non existent and unless you call and jump through hoops you re not getting help.Completely ruined a new tesla owners experience. Car is amazing but the service is an utter joke. GO FAR FROM THIS SERVICE CENTER.****I have 2 friends with new teslas within a month apart. First one dropped their model 3 P and after service they scratched his door and had to repaint.Second dropped their model Y P same day as mine actually and after service they damaged his bumper. This place is extremely careless. They DO NOT CARE.* UPDATE. Got my car back today 5/4. The paint work to fix the gash in the trunk was a joke. They did not sand it down and just painted over it. You can see the gashes still and now there a bumps in the paint on the trunk. (Manager was speechless saying he has no idea why they didn t fix the damaged that was caused and just painted over it)

I scheduled an appointment nearly a month ago. Tesla canceled it because it was going to be moved to mobile service. They forgot to move it over to mobile service. When I asked when the mobile ranger appointment would be no one respond in almost two weeks. I tried calling Costa Mesa Service center and no one picks up. When I finally was able to speak to someone on the chat on Tesla's website they rescheduled me for another appointment as if I was requesting new service. No one said this is our mistake and we will get you in immediately. The chat stopped working in the middle of booking the new appointment and now I am not sure if I even have the appointment booked. To be fair I did have another issue I had to add that would mean I have to come to the service center so ultimately I could not use the mobile ranger. I love Tesla, but really wish they would fix their service department.

They kept my car for 30 days a for a screen freezing issue and it was not resolved and to boot one of the rims was damaged, they referred me to a guy that could repair it which the guy did a great job fixing the rim but I still haven't heard back about the refund on what I paid out of pocket to get it fixed and its been well over a month. The only saving grace of that place is the Service Rep Brad, super nice and helpful guy. I might have to take a dive down there and wait for them to cut me a check for the damage
