I had Maaco repair rust and paint my 1997 suburban in a different color than original to the car. I am very happy with the results. There are very few minor imperfections in the paint and minor overspray. The rust repair was perfect. I had rust through the rear quarter panel and it is undetectable.

I wanted to get my whole car painted. I shopped around and got four different estimates ranging from $2800 to paint the roof, hood, and trunk to $7500 to paint the whole car. I decided to go to Maaco to get an estimate. Not only did Maaco fit me in for an estimate, they gave me the estimate on the spot, no waiting, and they worked within my budget. I got my whole car painted for less than other shops wanted to paint part of it. The owner was amazing and kind and Jessica answered all my questions. The paint job is perfect, no drips, no over spray, no cracked decals, my car looks like the day I bought it. I would definitely recommend this Maaco location.

Anytime, I need any type of auto body work I bring it straight to Hector. Hector will take care of you, and provide five star service and will make the car look better than factory. Thank you for all your hard work.

Hector is incredible as far as being up front and open.He sincerity already and honesty in his work. It's been proven in many business. I've had to. They're business.Having been in customer service myself for 40 years. He isn't excellent representation.They're prices are reasonable and fair and they do great work.

I had my car repainted here 2 years ago instead of buying a new car. They turned my car (with peeling and faded paint) into a new looking vehicle with the metallic grey paint matching perfectly. I did the best paint package.Ever since, my mother in law had been asking to get her peeling paint car painted as well. We recently dropped off her car the day before Thanksgiving and got the lowest paint package, since that's what she could afford. We understood that the lowest paint type might not exactly match the seafoam metallic green paint. We were told that they were closed on Thanksgiving and half day on Friday, so our car was estimated to be ready the next week Friday.So I was surprised to get a phone call from Maaco on Monday letting me know the car was ready. My mother and father in law were over the moon happy and so impressed with the new paint job. The new metallic green was a nicer shade than it was previously. It really looks like a shiny new car.Thank you, Maaco for doing such an amazing job on our cars!

I came here to get my roof painted after they painted it, they broke both of my roof trims and one of them fell out while I was driving. I went back to ask if they could repair the damage and they said my latches were broken but they weren t before I got my roof painted. They offered to replace the roof trims but I would have to pay for them. I also notice the paint was off on the side of the roof that wasn t there before.

I brought my 3rd generation 4Runner here to get repainted. Although the staff were very friendly and courteous, their job quality was very weak.The first of my concerns was that they did a bad job at masking off parts of the car that were not supposed to be painted. Typically when painting a car, the rubber seals have to be removed along the windows to avoid painting over them and to ensure the panel underneath can be painted. They ended up partially painting over the rubber seals on all the windows on my car, meaning they didn't bother removing them and instead relied on taping them off. There was also tons of over spray inside the interior of the car and it seemed as though they didn't even bother cleaning it up after finishing until I brought it up during pick-up. They also painted over the suspension components on my vehicle which are an obvious no-no. I brought up these concerns with them and instead of fixing the issue, they simply showed me how to clean up their mess myself rather than doing it themselves.Next, I had them also replace my front and rear bumpers on my car because I wanted them to stay black (same color of the plastic when you don't paint over it). Not only did they paint over the bumpers despite the fact that I clearly instructed them not to, but they also broke my rear view camera and did not fix it.The last problem is that part of the job included in the price was fixing any dings or dents in the body panels prior to painting it. Although they fixed a significant dent on the hood, they missed at least 3 smaller dents along the door panels and fenders.To conclude, if you're looking for a new paint job or any sort of body repair, I would avoid this shop entirely until they improve their quality and workmanship.

I came in and worked with Jessica and Hector. They were very patient and walked me through the options for my car. They were very patient with walking me through the different options. Particularly given the age of my car, I was trying to avoid spending a large amount on painting the outside. They answered all of my questions, and provided a written estimate, including after a followup call.At the time of dropoff, I was told 7-10 business days, but they called me in 4.5 days with a completed paint job! And I think it looks great! The only way I can tell that it's not a factory job is if I look closely after opening the gas door or the door sill areas (only after opening the doors).Overall, great work and great people here.Service: Painting

My wife s car turned out great. Staff was helpful and kind except for one guy who thinks it s ok to talk over customers when they are speaking. News flash, nobody likes that.

I have a 2000 mustang and I went in about 3 weeks ago to get an estimate to see how much it would cost to get my car repainted and right when I stepped in Humburto and Alex greeted me right away and asked what I would like done and I was done within 10mins and came back 2 weeks later and I am still in awe my car looks brand new, I was amazed right when I pulled up to see it and I still am to this day they both did an amazing job as well as their team. I did the highend package for 1.6k and let me tell you if you have the money do it, you wont regret it!

If you are ready to get a paint job for your vehicle and give it a fresh look this is the place to go. Straight forward in pricing and work. If you discuss anything additional make sure it's in writing on your invoice and your clear with your expectations of the work that is performed. Alex is very helpful understood what I wanted and expected for the price we agreed on. The entire crew did a great job on my car. I would recommend this shop for any paint work or body work.

Ask for Hector!! He is a Champ!!! This legend Hector stopped & dropped what he was working on to come outside and help me fix my bumper clip that the dealer couldn t install correctly. My bumper kept popping out. The dealer didn t wanna put in the right clip after the insurance paid them to fix and Hector like a genius tried three different Clips and found the right one that they should ve installed from the beginning I will only go here to fix all my auto body needs from now on what a champ. Thank you Hector I really appreciate you.

The Maaco team did not scope my project correctly and did not paint all the affected delaminated areas of my truck that were agreed upon. Instead of being honest with me about the scope being wrong, I was upsold on a full truck paint job half way through the week without being given a reason why. I declined. It turns out that if you are a body shop you define a difference between a roof rail and a roof paint job. Now I am being told I will have to pay for the remaining damaged area to be fixed when the issue was that they did not scope the project properly.The photo below is the roof rail which they said they wouldn t paint.Service: Painting

I got Blue painted the other day! It cost almost 2k, but they did a GREAT job! there were a couple of "dust specks" that I wasn't happy with, but still, she looks like new again! I should have taken before pictures. the clear coat (factory new 15 years ago) was peeling off EVERYWHERE and blue looked like she had leprosy!

I came to Maaco in Costa Mesa to get my (year 2005) car a new paint. I got a price estimate that is reasonable so I left it there. The staff are really nice, especially Rachel who is very kind and courteous. Rachel got all the patience in the world to explain to me about what needed to fix, and followed up (thru texting) about my car status while in the shop A week later I came back and seeing my new painted car, I feel so good and confident driving in it! Maaco (Costa Mesa)did a very good paint job, my 2005 car looks like new! My car even got vacuumed and detailed the interior, new plastic mats It s more than I expected so I am thanking their hard work!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

First off this is not your typical paint shop. They turn out awesome work and way better quality than any other shops I ve gone to for a way more affordable price. I ve had 9 cars done here in the last 2 years. Every car has come out perfect no flaws. Hector took excellent care of me and was extremely professional and so nice. Message me if you want to see any of my cars finished they re all gorgeous. New ownership so go in and meet them and get your car or truck done asap.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Change color from gray to army green on the side.Been consider Wrapping because of price, but found Maaco has good deal and Harut gave me good services.Cost me cheaper than Wrapping.Competitive price, Kindness owner Harut.Most of all, Quality ~ Unbelievable ~~~And Finish in two days~~~~People who want to change color of your car, Must go Maaco in Garden grove.You will get results you want.Great jobs guys!!!Thank you!!!

I would recommend this Maaco to anyone that is needing dent repairs or paint for their car. I worked with Alex through my whole process and he is amazing! I brought my 1995 Honda Prelude into the shop, my favorite car to drive and they did an amazing job all around. Got my dings out here and there and new paint and my car looks brand new! Incredible paint job on my 2010 Audi A7. Looks brand new as if it came straight out the dealership. Amazing attention to detail, it was also delivered a few days ahead of schedule, which I was very impressed with. Rachael was extremely helpful throughout the whole process, she was the only one running the office but was efficient and even communicated after hours, texting me and informing me on my car whether it be Facetime or pictures. Great value (less than $5k, my car was in rough shape, as I didn't take care of at all) for the body work, and overall paint on the vehicle. I don t usually give reviews, but I really appreciated the detail and the professional customer service that was given. Also not to mention, I did not expect my car to come out looking brand new and basically perfect. All scratches and minor dings were removed. I got the highest tier of paint job which was Base coat/ Clear Coat and she even included making sure that the faded black plastic pieces on my car were taken care of. All in all if I could give this business a 10/10 I would. Also was able to meet the new owner Dee, he is very professional and he made me feel at home, even was able to give me some discounts I was not expecting. Thank you again, I will spread the word and let people know this is the shop to go to!

brought my VW here for a paint job several years ago- for the price, these guys do an excellent job, especially if you spring for the top package they offer. fast forward to today, i started seeing a bit of chipping around mask-off areas, and brought the car in; they took care of it without charge even though i was past the end of the warranty. very cool

TRASH QUALITY Pay a little more for aWAYY BETTER QUALITY.I paid $600 for the roof paint and they painted the rubbers , make a damage in the rubber and painted my tire too and now they said it was a accident and they can t remove it or do anything for that.CALIBER COLLISION charged me $100 more but the quality there was THE BEST.

MAACO Costa Mesa- from a HAPPY REPEAT CUSTOMER.Under previous management, I had my 2001 Acura painted with them four years ago, it looked like new and still does. A week ago, I came back to take care of some trim issues and other details. Again, now under new management, results were top notch. Hector, the General Manager, did an excellent job going thru all the details and explaining the pros and cons. Thank you Hector for your excellent and friendly customer service and for "going that extra mile"!

For being a national chain, the atmosphere feels more like a family business which is nice to see these days. I believe their secret to repeat customers is their warm & charming office manager Rachel. I booked an appointment online for an inspection/estimate the following day, and she took care of me right away (while juggling 10 other things). We took our car to Maaco and had a great experience from the time we walked in the door. Alex was extremely helpful and took the time to explain the different options we had for painting and repairing our vehicle. We decided to get the premium paint job, the price was reasonable and much more affordable than what was quoted to us from other places.We are happy with the results. They did the proper prep work and our 350z looks like a new vehicle. I have done a few cars with Ryan (also formally his father) and they are always fair and the value given excellent for the price. Although not known for "custom" work I have seen some very high end show quality work come out of there. My referrals to Ryan always came back favorable and you will be happy too!
