Just wanted to drop a best review and to say a big thank you for the excellent maintenance service and for ensuring my car was in top condition. My car feels so good now! I am truly grateful going to this mechanic place; such an exceptional service. Thank you so much Jake and Buzz! I highly recommend them (they re super friendly!) and Honda Acura Service in Costa Mesa to anyone in need of automotive repairs.I will certainly be returning for all future maintenance needs for my car.Keep up the awesome work! I cannot begin to describe the service I received from Jake and Buzz! I was in the area for a conference when my car just died. I was in a parking lot with a car full of luggage and supplies. AAA came out and tried to jump it to no avail, then couldn t get the car in neutral to put it in the lift, I had to be somewhere at 5:00 pm, I called the shop and Jake coordinated with AAA to wait for the car (after hours). I Ubered to my hotel, from the parking lot, Jake kept me in the loop the entire time. The next morning Buzz called to tell me my car was ready to be picked up. I Ubered during lunch and met the guys in person, these are two of the nicest, most honest mechanics I ve ever met! They made what could have been an awful experience, stress free.I highly recommend them for all your car repair needs!!

Buzz and Jake have been in the business for a long time, and you bet they can take better care of your vehicle than the dealerships in the area. Jake is an excellent person, who cares about the people who come to him for service. My teenage son was in need of emergency services when he was driving my Honda Pilot from AZ to CA, and it started having issues. I called Jake prior to my son arriving in Costa Mesa and explained the situation and told me to have my son drive it right over to him. Jake took the time to check the error codes and sent them to me in AZ, cleared them, and then took the pilot for a 20 minute ride (just past closing time) to see if the codes would reappear. I was prepared to have my son leave the car overnight as Jake said he could possibly fix it the next day, which is Friday. Needless to say, I m at the mercy of the car expert since I m in AZ and have to take there word on what they believe the issue to be. We ll, the error codes did not reappear and the transmission worked as expected. He gave the car back to my son and I was so relieved to know he had a car to return home in without issue. Jake said he d even do some more investigation on the one time error codes and reduced speed issue and let me know if it s something that needs to be checked out further. All this at no fee! Jake knew we were in need of immediate help and didn t hesitate to help us. He could of easily told me something needed to be fixed as I wasn t even there, but he us too honest! If I lived near Cost Mesa, this business would be my new go to auto shop! Thank you Jake so much!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I've been using Buzz for years for my 2014 Honda Civic and I could not be any happier. Honest, timely, and thorough. I also love that he specializes in Honda cars so I know that he's up to date on my car, issues people have been seeing, and important info being released from Honda about these cars that I may not know of yet.10/10 recommend for your HondaServices: Tires, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

Buzz & Jake are always fantastic. I've been taking my cars here for over 20 years, and I wouldn't trust them with anyone else. I can always count on them for their honest and accurate assessment of only what I really need at a fair price.

I've been going to Buzz for many years and have always received quality service . My battery died today (the Friday before Christmas!) but Jake, Buzz's son said come in. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes!! That truly is great customer service. Marc Ingram Newport Beach

Buzz, Jake, and Carlos have been servicing, my now 11 year old, Acura for 4 years now. There is no place or mechanic that I trust more than Buzz and his crew; I can only imagine how much money I've saved by avoiding dealerships. He shows me what needs to be repaired/replaced prior to repairing/replacing it. He's honest, fast, fair, and thorough. Most importantly, he let's my dog take over the shop while we wait. Do your wallet a favor and call Buzz first.

Blew my motor in my 2007 Toyota Tundra Crewmax on a trip to New Mexico. After a couple of week trying to get the truck transported back to California, Buzz checked out the tuck and recommended replacing the motor. He found a match with low mileage for a great price. They installed the motor, replaced the radiator, and serviced the transmission. Along the way they ran into some difficulties, but still complete the work as promised at the quoted price. Buzz did everything he could to keep the price down while ensuring that I would enjoy my truck for year to come.You can absolutely trust they will do the right thing for you.

Buzz is amazing!!! I thought for sure my car (a Toyota which they also service despite being Honda/Acura specialists) was in pretty bad shape, and needed a lot of work. He checked it all over and for just over three hundred dollars fixed everything that was wrong with it (I'm on vacation so I don't have the actual invoice detailing everything done yet, but I do know that the drive train belt was replaced and the cabin air filter was also replaced.)My mom and her best friend have been going to him for years and swear by him!! If you have a Honda, Acura, or Toyota, go see him, he will fix you up and it won't cost you a fortune. I also used to have a Dodge and when I called him to see if he worked on them, he told me no, but here's who I send everyone to with domestic cars. I appreciated that honesty and the recommendation.

Great Master Mechanic shop. They know what needs to be done and what doesn't. Will even tell you if something is under warranty so you can save your money. They are in the business of providing a solid honest service. I took my Honda their for all my needs. I would recommend this mechanic to someone who wants the job done right at a fair price.

Great, honest mechanics! Took care of my Element s brake service with same-day turn around! They curtiously informed me of upcoming services that will help the car have a long healthy life, however, I did not feel pressured to spend a fortune which is rare! Awesome family business, I ll be sticking with them for the life of my Honda!

My Acura broke down and Buzz and his team were extremely helpful, accommodating and gave me a honest diagnosis. This is a place I would definitely recommended, To the negative posts who got bad telephone service, you're calling a busy auto shop exercise some patients.

Best experience Ive ever had with a mechanic. Buzz and his crew saw me immediately, and took care of a serious misfire on my 2000 Accord by the next morning. 10/10 will be back for any future service.

The person that answer the phone was so rude when I asked if he could please give me a quote for my car's service. He asked me if I had been there before? and I said no, this will be the first time. So he reply ...how would I know what your car needs if you have never been here? I said I can tell you, I have a list of things that need to be done to my car. Can you please give me a quote? and he said: "I am too busy right now ". OMG THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!!NOTE: By the way I just read the other comments and found out I was not the only one with bad experience ;(

This is a superior alternative to any Honda Dealer. Buzz and his son Jake are fast, thorough and honest. Going to them from out of town I was apprehensive but they solved my problem completely.

I bet you won't find more honest and decent people than here. Just got my car repaired for 1/4 of price estimate I got from another place for a same job. Strongly recommend this shop! Thank you guys!

Guz is a rare bread of honest mechanic - he might come across as brusk but that is his South African style, once you get pass his brutal honesty you'll find out that he is a great mechanic,

Guy on the phone was super rushy and didn't even want to talk to me so when i start to explain it to him he said he cant help me sorry i am rushing out. THESE GUYS ARE JERKS
