I have worked with Dan for many years from my personal vehicle to a fleet of trucks that he maintained and repaired. You can get your Ford Trucks repaired by a respected Ford Factory Technician when using HB Diesel. Many years of experience, knowledge and most of all a honest man when you bring your truck to Dan. When you step up and buy a diesel your now playing with Big Boy Toys. Repairs are not cheap so make sure when you need them there done right the first time.

Gary and Dan of HB Diesel are awesome. Dan is super knowledgeable when it comes to Ford diesels and was able to diagnose the problem and walk my husband through the whole process from start to finish of the repairs. They are both very professional and friendly. Their work is honest and their prices are fair. Not only did we find a new diesel mechanic but my husband gained new friends in both Gary and Dan. Thank you so much guys!

Wouldn't take our Ford E-450 bus camper anywhere else ever if it were possible! These guys are the best. Period. We live in our camper full time and it is really hard to find good mechanics consistently while travelling. We have been in California for a bit now and happy to keep coming back to HB. Dan is the master technician and knew the issue as soon as he turned the vehicle on just from the sound of idle. He's also very articulate and explains everything very simply and clearly so you can understand exactly what is going on. Customer service is the best i have experienced anywhere (mechanics, ice cream, whatever). Gary is not messing around when he says that customers are like family to them and they will go out of their way and go above and beyond to help you with your unique situation. 10 stars highly reccommend these guys!

Dan at HB Diesel is the best. My 2004 Ford F250 had the check engine light on for a few months and it was getting close to having to get it smoged. I was recommended by a fellow ELK lodge member to go to HB Diesel for he had great experience there. Dan had my truck ready for me in a few days after replacing the turbo. He always kept me informed on what was going on with it. I will be going back to him for my future repairs.

Have a Ford? You need to know Dan. And as a woman this means a LOT.HB Diesel on Edwards. If you have a Ford, especially a diesel, Dan IS the diesel man. I don't give massive props ever... Dan deserves every good comment. He knows his s**t. He's kind and beyond reasonable. He resurrected my old 2001 7.3L. He is a wizard.

I worked with multiple mechanics in the past but Dan had the ability to find the root cause (as opposed to treating the symptoms). I bought a 20 year old Ford with 6.0 Diesel from the previous owner who couldn't fix it and gave up on the truck. It was challenging to identify the source of vibrations and lack of power in the engine. Suprisingly enough, Dan fixed both issues (injectors and fuel pump fix for engine power and drive angle shaft fix for vibrations). He was very honest with me throughout the whole process. The labor cost is also very fair.

HB Diesel replaced a short block in one of our diesel utility trucks last year and we could not be happier. The service, cost and communication was excellent. When a warranty issue occurred, they repaired without a question. They will get all of my work!

I had a horrible coolant leak on my 04 6.0 Powerstroke. I for the life of me could not find where it was coming from!! After weeks of my truck raining in my driveway and $150 in coolant later, I decided to call Dan! I asked if he had time to take a look and give me his opinion on where the leak was coming from. He said come on by. Dan took his time to Pressure test the system and informed me i had two different leaks. One at the Water Pump and one at the EGR Cooler. He also informed me that my system was over pressurizing to 20psi there for causing the leaks. Dan recommended I change the EGR Cooler, Water Pump and that my Oil Cooler was most likely clogged causing the high temp reading i was getting. I ended up changing the EGR Cooler while i was there i managed to clean out my Oil Cooler. New Gasket kits for everything. Still have not had a chance to change the Water Pump. At least my truck isn't raining coolant anymore!! After Dan took time out of his day to look over my truck and give me some amazing information. I asked him how much i owe him, only to be told not a thing!! I Recommend HB Diesel to anyone i know with a Ford Truck! Dan has over 20 years experience and he knows 6.0s like nobody else. I'll be taking my truck back to him today to see if he can give me some info on how to properly seat the Y pipes to the turbo, So I can fix a exhaust leak I created.Five Starts for HB Diesel!!!!!

Dan is incredibly patient and knowledgeable. He had my transmission issues diagnosed and fixed in a day. The cost was lower than I expected and will go back for any of my future powerstroke 6.0 issues. I'm glad I was able to find this shop.

Dan is the man! I have a 2006 Ford F250 diesel that was giving me big problems. I took it to other diesel mechanics, and they couldn t figure it out. Dan called it with one shot and fixed the problem. He really knows his stuff. I highly recommend HB Diesel.

Have both a older 7.3 and a newer 6.7. Knows his stuff, no frills which I don't want .... high end diesel tech. He knows his ford's for sure . Even took my 7.3 in once thinking I had some crazy oil leak.... not the case at all... was oil from a previous issue dripping , he was honest and charged me zero .Good experience for sure !
