Took my 2020 highlander to get an amsoil oil change 4/15/23(photo below) at Grand Prix Performance. On 11/12/23, i did my own oil change and as I got under the highlander. I notice the underbody shield was cut to get access to the oil filter and make room for the oil from the drain hole. The previous oil change before going to them was performed by me. So I know the underbody shield was not like that when I brought the highlander to them. The time that took them to cut the underbody shield would have been about the same as taking off 3 bolts and 2 panel clip. THIS IS THE REASON WHY PEOPLE HAVE TRUST ISSUES WITH SHOPS! DO THINGS THE RIGHT WAY! Now I have to spend over $100 to have the underbody shield replace.

First class service with competitive pricing. Short of complete overhauls/rebuilds, this is a full service auto shop to meet your routine maintenance needs. They do custom work as well as specialty work too. Great turnaround time. All of my service so far has been same day service without an appointment. They do take appointments though.

I had the best experience w Jessica and Chase, they made sure I made the best decision on what tires to buy for my X3 that had a flat. They were kind enough to inform me that all my tires were close to done and I looked myself and they were right. They look out for the best interest of their clients I highly suggest going there for your tire or wheel needs! Thank you Grand Prix!

My Tesla has been having a vibration for a bit. I have aftermarket springs, sway bars, and powder coat so I wasn t sure which component was the cause.I decided to visit Grand Prix to have the tires re-balanced as a first step. When the second wheel came off, the machine revealed one tire was the issue. They checked all four on the machine for me.At the end of my visit, there was no charge for checking the balance of all four wheels. Couldn t believe it! I ll be back for the tire replacement soon.The shop is also beautiful inside with a nice spot to work on my computer.

Has a good selection of tires makes and sizes with helpful staff to make selection.Slow service, over two hours to mount and balance new set of tires on a mid-day, mid-week visit. Incorrectly uses impact wrench, not torque wrench, to tighten lug nuts. Didn t seem to understand dynamic balancing.Overall a decent option, but do not expect detailed service.

Payed 150$ for an alignment that wasn't right. Steering wheel wasn't straight and specs were all wack. They told me to come back and get it right which in my mind I thought that meant they would cover it for free. Fast forward a few weeks I put some new parts on like they told me too and dropped it off. They charged me another 200$ and after driving around for a few hours the steering wheel is so crooked. Never going back to this place. Over charged and not even a good job. I never leave bad reviews and I gave this place 3 chances! Very unfortunate

Just finished having valve replacement and tires rotated at Grand Prix. I will never go anywhere else for all my tire needs. I was a walk in, greeted courteously, and they got me dialed and out the door in less than 30 min. I'm sure this depends on many factors but their garage was full and still made time to take care of me. I won't go into details but as a small business owner myself in a service industry, I have high standards. They rejuvenated my faith as a consumer - they take care of business as I believe it should be. Earned themselves a lifelong customer today! Thank you Jake!

After two bad experience of my older car rims getting damaged by a tire change with other facilities; I paid extra to have these guys change my tires. I told them several times to be careful with my new rims they get scratch and damage easily. They assured me that they have over 35 years of experience, use touchless tire change & work on Ferraris & Lamborghinies. Guess what? They damaged my rim and denied that they did it. Luckily I had before and after pictures but spent over 30 minutes arguing with them. I don't trust these guys and will never take my car here again for any work.

This shop is overpriced. Paid $250 for 4 wheel alignment on 2020 Benz GLA250. In my opinion $200 should have been fair price for 4 wheel alignment job.

I made the mistake of calling there. A gentleman asked her the phone and said I m with somebody I ll be with you in a moment. Ok no big deal (was a little off put maybe they could ve said can you hold for a minute please)Then it sounds like his son or an employee answered the phone.Huge attitude I was trying to explain what I neededHe begins to tell me he doesn t need the story and I m like excuse me do you want to earn my business?then he accuses me ofBeing unfriendly when I am the customer.Beware of the shop It sounds like you won t be treated. Very nice Here s my suggestion, if you have grumpy owners and employees hire a nice counter girl to handle your offputting personalities .I moved on and called other shops

This place is the BEST. My low tire pressure light came on and they checked my tires. Ricardo noticed that my rear tire was quite low and found the nail in it. He patched it for me and did a great job! I have been going there for tires for years because they always treat you like a V.I.P. Today Ricardo was A+++++

A real pleasure to deal with from quote to drive off. Held onto my new tires for three weeks as it took me longer than expected to get my Datsun Roadster down here. When I got the car I was able to get same day service and be on my way within an hour. Bonus - the final bill was even less than the original quote! All the staff was very friendly too. There is no reason to go anywhere else. Best prices with service that treats you like family. I especially appreciate that Grand Prix Performance is family owned and operated. I know they care about their customers. With something as important as tires, it's nice to have the added confidence by seeing the same faces every time I visit. They always go the extra mile with tire rotations and patching up leaks. Thank you Grad Prix team, you have a customer for life!

What can I say, the best shop around for all tire needs. Been going to this location for years now, except the motorcycle used to be in a different building. Now its merged in same Grand Prix building. So yes, you can get your bike tires done here! By the time I was shooting the sh*t with Chris and paying for the service (pricing is the best here, hands down!) My wheel was done and ready to go. 15 mins!! Will be coming back here everytime I need any kind of tire service!

He's great, just like George he's honest and thorough and will take great care of your car.2021 Edit: George is no longer here, I haven't been back in years and have no idea how this place is nowGeorge is probably the best mechanic in California. Great prices, great service, fast, high quality. They were able to find a rare tire size in Michelin 4s for delivery the next morning. Came in, before my car was shut off they were working on it. 30 minutes later- out the door with 2 new tires and on my way. Julio was great in letting me know the status in the comfortable waiting room.

I HIGHLY recommend Grand Prix Performance in Costa Mesa for all of your car repair and improvment needs. They are simply THE BEST. I had 2 serious issues with my BMW recently, and their pricing was SO MUCH cheaper than Sterling. We just had an issue with an Audi and took it there...again, better pricing that was even quoted at Beach House Imports (specializing in Audi). After doing the repair, they also de-badged the car for us. They really do EVERYTHING (wheels, rims, repairs, tinting, etc.). Their customer service is AMAZING and they are such genuine people. Don't hesitate supporting this family run business!Services: Electrical repair, Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Engine repair, Wheel alignment

My experience with the owner Jerry, was unpleasant. I felt that he was extremely rude. The tech drove my car into the shop area. He then told me there were scratches on the rocker panels. I am very meticulous with my car so I know it inside out. Those are recent scratches. I felt that their service was poor and my bad experience with the staff and owner left a sour taste. I would not recommend their service.

This place is like no other, 1st class all the way! Here's the bottom line, if you have anything nice and care about it at all - you bring it here. Customer service and quality of work exceeds the highest standards as well as limitless options available for anything desired. These are good solid people who have incredible work ethic, family oriented and professional experience, I wouldn't think to go anywhere else!

Before, BAD EXPERIENCE Called for appointment for 4 wheels alignments and they said just walk in. Went there got the alignment done for my Mercedes G wagon, paid $100, found out only got two front alignment done. Where other shops Cost $100 to $120 for four wheels alignment done. When I call around and ask the alignment price it s usually for four wheels. After the work is done, it was only for 2 wheels staying in the receipt. It would be $175 for four wheels. They don t even give you options or ask what you want before the work done. Doesn t matter if you been there 50 or 100 years, when your customers feel like got cheated and lied to, that s when your service goes downhill. I was thinking Spending $3000 changing my rims and tires there, Not anymore. So be aware of going there... Really upset! I don t know how they are there for 50 years. NEW POST:So, Jessica - the owner s daughter called me back and asked regarding what happen. And it was definitely partially miss communicated. The shop should have asked the guest and told them the price for the job is only for two front alignments work and for that year of my G, there wasn t for 4 wheel (called dealership and verified). I mean there are shops who has $100 for four wheel alignment but This shop s cost has always been this. So in result, the alignment work is good, but if it was more explained to customers it would be a lot better. I m giving back the stars b/c I appreciated she called me and make me feel better but communication is very important. We as customers should do more homework on your own cars and ask around more for the pricing and how well is their skill.

Never had a tire store and so much more treat me better. I've been buying tires there for 15+ years. Great prices and even better service. I brought several sets of tires and rims through out the years and they take care of my breaks too. Never been disappointed. Customer for life.

Faster than normal, but Biden killing us on inflation, the guys say prices on tires are up 30-50% depending on which brand.

These guys are great. Doesn t matter if you re spending 50 or 5000 they always take great care of their customers. Lee has to put up with about 3 visits and 20 questions from me every time I get a new car. There s never pressure to buy, just a great family that loves cars and loves being helpful. With that approach the sale usually follows so everyone wins and feels great. Tires, wheels, brakes, tint, alignment, over the years they ve done it all for me. Zero issues, zero regrets.
