Great service by Steve. Truly a nice guy that gets the job done. I dropped off my catering van to have my condenser and ac parts repaired. Had some delays on getting the parts but Steve worked til 8pm to make sure I got back my car for an event I was working the next day. Car is all fixed now and ready for the summer.

The AC on my BMW 535i had not been working for a couple of months and I was hesitant to bring it in for repairs thinking that it might be very expensive. If you've ever owned a BMW, you know what I'm talking about! I met a mechanic that referred Steve at D&S Auto Air. When I arrived, Steve got right to work, diagnosed the problem, resolved the issue, and even added dye that would show up and locate any future leaks. All at a fraction of the cost I was expecting. Steve showed me what he was doing along the way and explained everything very thoroughly. I highly recommend Steve and D&S Auto Air!

I Have A 1974 Mercedes 450sl that I have owned for 15 years I had the ac repaired from another shop about 5 years ago and it has never really worked well !! I was told by the previous shop that is just the way they are, well it finally stopped working so I took the car to Steve at D&S auto air. A friend of mine with an old Mercedes recommended Steve to me ! Steve spent the time to educate me about my car and told me that there are modifications he can do to greatly improve the system so I had him go ahead and do the work . I now have the car back and let me say wow I wish I had known Steve long before!! The AC now blows strong and Ice cold I will now be able to take my car on a long awaited trip and really enjoy it for the first time Thank you again Steve.. and I will highly recommend your shop to everyone I know!!

I have been getting my vehicles serviced by Steve for years. He is always straight forward and gets the job done right. He is is an expert on AC. Steve does a lot more than just AC. I had sent my Truck in to have the rear axle replaced and had the engine overhauled. He is connected with some of the best companies in the area for specific needs. I also had my VW bug sent in for an engine rebuild and body work done. He truly is a one stop shop. I have always been taken care of and been given top customer service.

Great service every time.Steve has been my A/C mechanic for years. He is very knowledgeable in new and old automotive A/C systems. In fact he does a lot of custom A/C jobs on classic cars as well. His prices are well in line and he explains the job up front so their's on surprise at the end.

If you are having any issues with your auto the ONLY independent mechanic you should trust your car to is D&S Auto Air. Steve absolutely is in incredible help when you need assistance. His expertise is highly rated and he is a genuinely honest. If you had 6 stars I would give them to D&S auto air. THANK YOU STEVE!

About a year ago, I had my 1999 Mercedes C230 air conditioning diagnosed and recharged by Steve, and I was so impressed by his attention to my car, to showing me what he was doing, explaining every step, and ensuring I understood the AC system's health, all for an unbelievably low price. This guy is a specialist who knows his field like no one else. I was so impressed, I immediately brought my 1996 Jaguar XJ6 to have him assess, diagnose, and recharge. I was again so happy with his service, I had my wife bring our 2007 Honda CRV from Henderson, Nevada so we could have Steve assess and recharge its AC system in Costa Mesa. Top notch. A true top quality professional who provides high quality service at a truly reasonable price.

I have a project car that needed custom AC hoses made and Steve did a great job. He let me watch the process, gave me professional advice, not hiding the truth about anything. After assembling and charging the system it's nice and cold, he even helped me unlock my car after locking myself out with the engine running. He may not answer the phone, it's better to show up personally.

Steve is a master of AC units,he is very knowledgeable and is not afraid of giving advice to protect your investment. Steve's prices were very reasonable and I will only take my vehicles to his shop for AC repairs. Thanks for your service, I will pass the word!

Steve has been doing the A/C repairs on my customers BMW's and Mini's for over 20 years. The level and quality is top notch and having a BMW and Mini shop in Costa Mesa for 29 years there is no one as qualified and skilled at air condition work and fabrication than Steve at D/S Auto Air.

Steve is the MAN!!! He fixed our A/C, no BS, we didn t even have an appointment and it took no time at all. Best of all it was less than half of what the dealership charged to do the same thing. Quality work from a great man.11/10

this is the right place to have your A/C checked Steve is very knowledgeable and is hands on, he shows you what he is checking right in front of you so there is no scams . He was very systematic in his procedure and lets you touch and feel some components as needed to explain how and why things work. He has been doing this specialty work for many years and knows his trade. I highly recommend this shop and I was very satisfied great job thanks Steve

Steve is exceptional at what he does. Excellent customer service, quality work, and just an overall good guy. I am pretty mechanically inclined, and Steve is always willing to explain and share not only what he did, but why it happened in the first place. Added education bonus in addition to getting a quality repair

My A/C was not working and I called Steve. He had me come down so he could check it out. He explained what was wrong and fixed the problem. My A/C works great now! Thank you
