Had an amazing experience working with Jay. He was very friendly and accommodating to my schedule. The price was more than reasonable, and when I picked up my car it was in the most pristine condition I've seen since I first bought it. Couldn't be happier, thank you so much!

I had a great experience with Jay here on repairing the front of my Toyota Corolla. He was super responsive and communicative about my vehicle while it was in the repair. He also got me brand new tires through a referral because I needed them and it was a great deal. Overall great service and my car looks great as well.

Jay was unbelievable. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time, it was truly refreshing. Jay was approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. The work they did on my car was fast and perfect. Drove away very happy! Thanks again Jay!

Had a car hit my car. I own a white car so any scratch ruins the look of the car. Called this shop and within 2 days they had my car in and fixed. Amazing customer service and car looks brand new. Best prices in town

Needed to fix a front bumper due to rock chips and several scratches, plus a mismatched paint job from previous body shop. From service to finished product, flawless. Jay is the one you wanna look for! Excellent work in a short amount of time - at a reasonable price! And if it s still pretty steep, he would do anything he can so that it s in your reach.Questions afterwards? He ll answer all of them! He ll still remember you even after a few months! Hands down best body shop in OC! Thank you!

It's a lie jay made me pay 4 months of rental cause he took forever and he never answers communication is not there you'll find yourself texting yourself fenders missing bolts fender liners missing screws and clips I had a train. Horn they re-installed. That fell that fell. Cause truck was wobbling and won't replace it and sway bar was wrong one and ha charging over $4,000 for warranty work he promised to and said he already had received the train horn system and months later after promising it was being installed he says he's not going to and two front tires need replacement and he wants me to do the tires and alignment and horns myself and he has not put my spare tire back nor have I seen it idk what or if he even knows where it's at and now he has my truck hostage and he's billling for the horns and tires even though he won't do the job

Had them paint a mini boat for us, it came out amazing! Since I have had them do a few cars for us, ferraris, bentleys, a lotus, every time i have been impressed. Jay is the man! Super friendly, polite, respectful and is also a good listener. I pulled up without an appointment looking for someone to paint a small part that I had picked up from a manufacturer. So small, most shops probably wouldn't haven even wanted the inconvenience. The guy said to to leave the part with him, come back later that day and pick it up. Craziest thing is - he didn't even charge me! I of course paid him for his time but it just shows how honest and genuinely nice of a person he is. Highly recommend you see him if you want things done and done the right way!Service: Painting

Excellent overall experience. Job completed on schedule, Perfect paint match on my Porsche. Jay & his team were outstanding! They took care of my wife's Lexus RX350L (a creased front door from another car's door-swing in a parking lot) and the whole vehicle looked brand new! The price was reasonable and the job was completed and ready for pick up exactly on schedule. It's not easy finding a fair & honest service provider in the car business, so we're glad we found Jay! This was our first experience with Costa Mesa Auto Body & Paint... and I hope we won't need to return... but if we need body work, we know where to go! I had my bumper bashed in and a friend recommended Jay to me. I found him to be knowledgeable, easy to work with, and very professional. He explained/showed what needed to be done, gave a cost estimate, and agreed on a timeline that worked for me. True to his word my car was finished when promised, beautifully painted, and looks brand, spanking, new. Great job, Jay. Highly recommend Costa Mesa Auto Body & Paint. Jay and his team did outstanding work on an early model Ford Bronco. I found Jay after visiting half a dozen shops that either would not work on an older vehicle or didn't have the expertise necessary. From the moment I met Jay to the completion of the work, I felt in great hands (Jay, an owner, answered the phone the first time I called) -- good people doing good work. Thanks for the great work and great experience Jay!!

Another child of mine, another need for some body work after a fender bender. Jay and the team did great work for a fair price and quickly. The other places were a wait for estimate appt and longer for work and these guys got me right in and did quality work. I was rear ended and needed immediate repairs as it was my family car. I was referred to this shop, and to say they exceeded my expectations is an understatement. Everything was thoroughly explained to me, updates were given almost daily, and the customer service is amazing! A family business who is committed to providing excellent service and great work. I brought my 2017 Highlander Limited Platinum in for body work on my passenger rear door. Jay, the co-owner, gave a competitive estimate and was very professional in his communications with me and my Insurance Company. They ended up having to replace the door. The paint job was flawless. It was pearlized white, which is not easy to deal with. But they blended it beautifully. They also detailed the car as part of the service. Fantastic experience. True craftsman. Highly recommend. AMAZING WORK! Family run shop who specializes in restoration and collision repair. The owner is Jay Herrera, he s very friendly and attentive to his customers. He also works on the cars himself as well. Customers bring in their pristine classic cars to this shop so that shows that he does an amazing job and doesn t cut corners. I came in with a regular car that needed some collision repair. I honestly didn t expect too much attention to my car since it wasn t a classic, and it was paid for up front. (A lot of shops seem to take their time if they ve been paid already) But man was I wrong. He was extremely quick with my car and did a flawless job with it. My car came out looking brand new. I 100% recommend this shop to anyone looking for anything body related.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Jay is the man! Not only does he do incredible work, but he communicates extremely well throughout the process. His quotes are transparent and honest, his timelines were realistic and accurate, but most of all he's just a super nice guy. If I could put more stars I would. Extremely grateful to have found this shop. My car was rear ended and I really had no clue what to do. It was my first accident and really had no idea how to get started with getting my car fixed. I was referred by a friend who had previously had work done there before. Right off the bat I was greeted with a warm welcome by shop owner Jay. We discussed the damage on the car and I provided them with the insurance company details. From there they took over everything and even assisted with getting the rental sorted. They were very efficient in getting the estimate done quickly. The car was ready much quicker than I anticipated and when I picked it up the car looked even better than before the accident. Everything was so convenient and took a lot of the stress off. The car looks absolutely amazing and the client treatment here is phenomenal. Although I do hope to not need body shop work in the future, I know that if I do this is the only place I would trust to take it to.

Very irresponsible and dishonest people. The main guy, Jay, he clearly lies. Showed my bmw for geico bumper repair, he took my geico claim information saying that he's going to contact Geico and set up everything and I can bring the car the Tuesday of next week. He never ever contact Geico, even once, and he told me he did. Regardless, I dropped the car thr Tuesday of the following week and he said the car is going to be ready by the end of that same week. After ignoring my texts/calls, i stopped by the Tuesday of week after to see the progress, not knowing that i will get hit by a big disaapointment: car was parked outside, and was not even touched, NOT a single touch. Drove off the same day and had it fixed somewhere else. With these people, it was a whole week waste of time, and several Uber rides back and forth. Not recommended.Service: Painting

My brand new 2021 truck was in an accident and I filed an insurance claim and took my truck to Costa Mesa Auto Body and Paint to fix it and when I got my truck back it looked like it did the day I purchased it from the car lot. Throughout the process they kept me informed on what was going on and what they were doing to my truck. I am literally grateful for the job they did on my brand new truck. Another old school Body Shop named Rosie's did not have the time to put my headlight in so I called Jay who said he would do it for free I said I would be right there. What a pro I took it to the right place and of course I had to tip him. They have not been in this business long but I'm sure they'll be around as long as Rosie's. Jay's concern was the safety of having a very dull headlight lens. Thanks Jay I'm sure you're going to go to heaven.Service: Body & Trim
