This place was recommended to me by an acquaintance after the dealership wanted $638 for basic service on my 2021 Mini Cooper with ~6000 miles. Bullet Performance determined that all it needed was an oil change and a routine vehicle inspection. Grand total $148 and an hour wait. Let's just say I'll be servicing my car here from now on.

They did an amazing job fixing an issue with my e46 M3. The quality was great, and customer service was on point. Definitely recommend for anyone with a BMW especially e46s. I ve been taking my 2001 E39 M5 to a very good independent service center in LA county for over 20 years. Recently, when the ABS/ASC/DSC lights came on all at once (the trifecta ), I took the M5 to them for repair. After weeks of working on the car and replacing the ABS module and master cylinder, the computer still indicated a problem. Finally, the owner said that as he couldn t fix the problem that he wouldn t charge me, but I needed to take it somewhere else. I asked him where I should take it and he said Bullet Performance. Boy, was he right! Mickey, the owner, worked on it personally. He too had problems matching up the ABS/ASC/DSC components, replacing numerous parts until he figured out that the OEM master cylinders being supplied were defective from the manufacturer. Long story short, Mickey fixed the problem for what I thought was a very reasonable price given the hours he took to troubleshoot the problem. Highly recommended!!!

Bullet Team,Just wanted to drop you all a quick note about the engine and drivetrain rebuild you completed on my E39 M5 a few weeks ago. The M5 is running beautifully. The combination of all of your work came into focus to result in near perfection.I made a few observations over the past month:Jimmy Schuck and Nate Knight You guys coordinate things beautifully around there. You know when to get people in and how to set delivery timelines and expectations so your technical team can make them happy. That is not an easy balance to hit. You are car guys, so you understand your customers and you provide extra details to make customers feel special. For example, most people wouldn t agree to photo document customer jobs - as you did for me. Thank you!Adam Koch Your militant attention to detail is overwhelmingly evident in every corner of that engine, engine compartment and drivetrain. Clean but militant? Yes, cleaning the inside of the transmission bell housing qualifies for ocd levels of militant detail. You are sick and I am grateful. At shutdown, it smells like a new engine when I open the hood. Aint no dust, dirt, rodents, oil, road grime to cook up anywhere. I am so glad you were on my project! Thank you!Manny Ixtacuy - It s worth mentioning that you didn t just hose off the car . Outside and inside was spotless. You deep cleaned the floor mats! The car was so clean that if I hadn t been in the shop bugging you guys every week and witnessing it first hand I never would have believed the complete engine and drivetrain were ripped out of it! Thank you!Mickey Miller I m not sure what you did. Just kidding! Giving these guys the implements they need and the freedom to work without micro managing them, all the while providing guidance and support when necessary - was impressive to watch. The staff at Bullet Performance is amazing. They will always provide expert knowledge on what's best for your car. A few times, I've asked about things I "thought" would be good (based on research), and they advised against it because it would not be beneficial to the longevity of my car! Applied knowledge at its finest.

After successfully sheering a bolt off my rear diff reinforcement, Mickey and the boys at Bullet were able to quickly get me back on the road. The guys here are top notch and trustworthy. Will be bringing my car back.

I'm driving a 2003 e53 4.6is (MX5) and the TEAM at BULLET Performance are great. A couple of years ago no shop in South County wanted to touch my ride; these guys have been taking care of my beast ever since. They do great work are reasonably priced and have a love for Bimmers. I highly recommend them.

Mickey & his entire team were amazing! I broke down & they took my car in immediately. They were friendly, knowledgeable and I expected the convenience they provided me alone, to be reason enough for an expensive repair. They really came to my rescue at a super affordable price. Very impressed & I will absolutely be returning in the future. Thank you so much Bullet!

Had a diagnostic error message from my car. Also requested them to do inspections of the tires, brakes, and A/C as they have not been in peak condition. Ended up paying $75 for them doing absolutely nothing and asking me to get fixed at the dealership. Waited half an hour in their lobby waiting for the rental promised, only to talk to them again for an update and realize they hadn t even contacted the rental car company yet. Highly unsatisfied with the service, would like to have had the disclaimer that I would still be charged for them having done nothing and saying there was an issue with the engine when I had already known that in the first place. Very disappointed.Services: Tires, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery

Went today with a 2004 E46 M3 that wasn t passing smog. I was referred by Jim from Mesa Performance, Jim told me they been doing the same thing for over 35 years so for sure they will help me. Went inside the office, asked my question, took them less than a minute to answer, explained me what to do to make the smog pass, they did not charge me anything, I did what they said and the M3 passed smog.Honest people, clearly they are doing a great job. Thank you guys

Been taking my BMW's to Bullet Performance for over 10 years now. Their work is always consistent with quality, price and service is 2nd to none. In the past 10 years they have never tried to pressure me into getting unwanted service or try to take advantage of me. This is the biggest reason I continue to take my BMW's to Bullet Performance, they are 100% honest!Service: A/C installation & repair

I got locked out of my car and had no way to get in. Thought I would have to break a window. Mickey and his team at Bullet figure out a way and really helped me out in a pinch. In addition to fixing my driver side door, he went above and beyond, touching up the minor details and making sure the car was pristine. Their attention to detail is beyond any BMW place I have been to yet. I have been taking my 2 of my BMW there for over 5 years. They have kept them in top running shape. The staff and service they provide is like no other. They know you by name and are honest about what needs to be done to your car and what can wait. Their prices are way under the dealership cost and they have excellent technicians. I would recommend Bullet Performance to any BMW owner!

Where do I even begin with how amazing Bullet is? Their staff is top notch and the customer service is the best to any I have ever received. I have been using Bullet for over 15 years and I have had nothing but the best. They work on all my BMWs and are a pleasure to work with. Thank you Mickey and Terry for the amazing customer service. Best BMW repair shop anywhere. They are very knowledgeable about BMW. Their pricing is fair and won't recommend unnecessary repairs. I trust them and the work they perform.I had them perform a pre-purchase inspection on a 2012 650I convertible that I was about to buy. The seller said the car had been regularly maintained and had no problems. Bullet found oil leaks and leaks in the cooling system. They also found that the plugs were still original plugs. Finally they warned me of several potential problems in the future. All tolled the deferred repairs and maintenance was $6,000. I ended up not getting the car.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto battery replacement, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

I had been going to another independent BMW repair for 9 years that I really trusted and was devastated when they merged with another repair shop . I thought I would never find another BMW repair shop that I could trust but I am happy to say I did ! My hairdresser told me about this place and I decided to give them a try. Terri was very nice and made me feel welcome and two months ago I just went to have things checked out after my car stalled in mid-traffic.Now after more issues and things I have neglected, I went back the beginning of October and they fixed only what was needed and did it in the time frame they said they would finish . I am so happy !!! Multiple issues were fixed and I feel safe and secure again in my 2000 BMW 328i manual transmission !! I highly recommend this place and wish I had heard about it sooner ! Thank you so so much !

I am so grateful to have found Bullet when my warranty expired on my X5 diesel. I have been coming here for a year now and they are top notch. The staff is wonderful! My son and his friends love coming here too, because they LOVE the BWW driving video game they have there. My husband now brings his X5 M here as well.

Bullet Performance is the BEST! Had some issues with a used car I bought. Terry and his team inspected, replaced parts, tested and was in constant communication with me the entire process. They worked with the Dealership that sold me the car and took care of everything! Terry and the team at Bullet helped me resolve a very stressful situation with extreme professionalism! Best BMW mechanics in OC. Knowledgeable, honest, fast, and reasonably priced. Conveniently located near South Coast Plaza at 405 & 55.Bullet Performance is better and cheaper than dealers. I serviced my BMW 328i here for 5+ years until I sold it. They fixed smog check problems which other shops could not fix. They rebuilt my transmission. They also tune race cars. Highly recommended. :-)

These guys at Bullet have made my life so much easier being I bought a used 2010 BMW 4 years ago. I was referred there by a friend who s boyfriend no longer works there, but assured me I d be in the best hands. I m sick to my stomach with my last experience at the dealership a few weeks ago, but I know I can call these guys tomorrow and they will make sure to take good care of me and not try to BS me. Bullet has consistently provided stellar service. They are all also friendly, genuine, and super responsive.Additionally, as a single woman, I have never ever been misled or disrespected or taken advantage of. These guys are also spot on with their diagnoses and have never tried to up-sell me more than my car needs. Thank you Bullet!!

As always, the staff at Bullet read the 'service engine soon' indicator for listed codes 5 minutes after I arrived. After clearing the indicator, they suggested we keep an eye out for a few days to see if the code returned. If you own a BMW that is off warranty, and you don't take it to Bullet, you are missing out on significant piece of mind!

My wife and I have been taking our car to Bullet Performance for many years. They are the best in town and very affordable. They always call with a quote before performing anything to the cars. This way you are never shocked with a price when picking up your carl unlike many other places in town.
