Stop wasting your time at the dealer or anywhere else if you have VW or Audi. These guys keep impressing me year after year. They are honest and upfront, and communicate the issues well. They always save me time and $$ over the dealer no matter what. Tim and Ty are fantastic.

What a great opportunity to support an honest Automotive business. Tim and his crew are very knowledgeable and friendly. Do yourself a favor and skip the dealer, go straight to beach house for all your Audi cars. He was able to see me the next day and address my Automotive issue. The dealer wanted money up front and a one-week wait to get my car in.

I ve been bringing my vehicle to these guys for 10 years now. Time and time again they fix the problem in the most efficient way. I ll choose Beach House over a VW dealer any day.

I found this shop online after my 2013 Audi A6 started overheating. On my initial call, I talked to the owner Tim and he gave me good advice about what to watch out for with the overheating issue before I even committed to taking my car to them, which I feel most shops would not do IMO. Everything was explained to me very thoroughly after the diagnostic was completed by Ty the main mechanic. Luckily, the majority of the work was covered by my extended warranty and the items that weren't the owner worked with me on cost and labor. I would definitely recommend these guys if you have an Audi or VW. A++++Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I was referred to Beach House Imports for an issue with my VW GTI. I talked to Ty and instead of charging me for a diagnosis, he alerted me that the issue my car was experiencing may be covered by an extended warranty. So I gave VW of America a call and he was correct, I got my clock spring issue fixed free of charge. I appreciate their honesty and knowledge of all things VW, they truly helped me out. Next time I have another issue with my VW, I know where I m taking my car.

I HIGHLY recommend Beach House Imports! I have been having car trouble for over a year and have taken my car to several other shops that were never able to solve the problem. Beach House Imports figured out exactly what the problem was and fixed it right away. My car has been running perfectly ever since. I am beyond grateful to have found this awesome auto repair shop. I will forever only take my car here. Not only is this place the best for fixing your car, but the staff here is amazing!! Every time I have brought my car in they keep me updated throughout every step of the repair process and are all so beyond nice. THANK YOU Beach House Imports!!! Y'all are the best!! :)

Honestly the best place to take your Audi. Ive had nothing but good experiences with this garage and their professional and friendly team down to the owner. Both of my Allroad wagons and [2005 & 2015] have always been serviced here and that will never change. its like getting the professional service of dealership with a much better price. Not to mention straight shooting honesty, the first time I serviced my 2005 the manager Ty noticed I knew a thing or two about cars and work on them myself. I mentioned doing breaks myself and I needed a new coil pack as well as breaks, he suggested they do the tougher job being the coil packs and I do the breaks to save money. I really appreciated the honesty and the non salesman approach. I really cant say enough good things about this place. I recently had the 75,000mi service and they did not disappoint with either price or service another home run. Honestly look no further and call Ty to service your german sled you wont be disappointed !Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Took my Audi A6 to two other mechanics who tried to sell me on buying a new motor. Brought my car to Ty and he was able to fix it in the same day and now it is running like new.Not to mention they completely detailed the car.The only place I am recommending for audi drivers to take their vehicles.Service: Engine repair

I got tired of overpaying at Fletcher Jones. This ship does better work and is better priced. Definitely recommend. I should if starting using this place sooner. Ty will take care of you and your Audi

THESE guys are THE BEST!!! I have taken my car to so many different places over the years and Beach house Imports is by far the greatest, across the board! Honest, friendly, professional, they work fast and keep you in the loop with everything! I love the convenience of the car drop off after hours so accommodate anyones schedule.The turn around time on getting my car is always fast and they even changed my clock to the correct time in my car without me having to tell them!! great guys, great business!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

I was recommended to Tim at Beach House Imports over 10 years ago and it's the only place I've taken my Audis ever since. Tim and his staff are GREAT! They really know their stuff and explain everything in detail; I recommend everyone to them! The service is fantastic; the shop and waiting room is clean, orderly and very nice! Go to Beach House Imports - they are the BEST!

Scheduled an appointment with Ty and seemed incredibly knowledgeable about my 2015 Audi A3. They fixed my radiator pump and turned it around in one day also diagnosed the check engine light and informed me my car had an extended warranty for the problem they found from Audi and refereed me to his Contact at a local dealership. The dealership verified that indeed it was covered and found out the turbo needed to be replaced under warranty as well. The dealer ended up doing close to $4000 worth of work that Ty could have charged me for and I would have never know the difference. I met the owner Tim as well. If you want an honest mechanic I d look no further than these guys. Hard to find and honest mechanic but that s what they are. They also cleaned the exterior of my vehicle before returning it to me. By far the best service I ve ever gotten!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Great customer service from Tim and Tai. Honest mechanics with lots of experience in German cars. They may not be the cheapest in town but here you're paying for solutions, not guess work like at other shops. Quality work will save you money in the long run. Also, their guarantee is solid, I even got my money back one time when it was going to be more expensive to fix my a/c than to replace my good old Audi. Thank you for always keeping my A4 up and running. I recently bought a VW so I'm planning to come back soon for a scheduled service.

The most important thing to me when taking my car to a mechanic is trust. I want to feel like I'm not being cheated and that the shop owners are transparent, sincere, and know what they're doing. Ty and his team exceed on all marks! They're professional, reliable, and offer very fair prices. That's why I don't take my Audi TT anywhere else.

Beyond Exceptional!! What a treat to do business with such a great team, full of experts who are a joy to work with! My first impressions were definitely exceeded, and then some! My family and I will exclusively be servicing our cars with Beach House Imports from now on!!

My family owned one A4 and two Q5. Audi is a great brand, however it comes with some very expensive and difficult repair issues. 10 years ago, our A4 had continuous variable transmission issue. Tim helped me to replace new one at a very reasonable price, far below dealer's cost. Today, Tim did again, our 2012 Q5 had timing chain problem which is extremely labor intensive and expensive to replace. Tim and his team took great patience, identified several convoluted issues and solve extremely technical problem. Even better the price Tim charged is far below dealer's.I dealt with Tim almost 15 years. Tim never disappointed me once. I strongly recommend Beach House Imports for quality service at reasonable price. You are in good hands !

I have an Audi Q7 that is recently out of warranty and I have been looking for the best independent shop for my on-going service. As I happened to be close today - I took a shot at seeing if they could fit me in (with no notice) and they did just that. All I needed was an oil change and that s exactly what I got. No up selling. No look out you have a problem stories. Just a quick oil change at a very competitive price and I had my Q7 back in no time at all. I will be back!Service: General repairs & maintenance

After 7 years finding Beach House, I will never go anywhere else for my Audi service needs. Tim and Tye are very honest and upfront with regards to what my cars need. The service techs Ben and Joe all make up a team that have integrity and what they provide is always above and beyond my expectations.I have an S8, a A6 2.7T and an A5 S-line no other shops are allowed to touch them, especially the S8.C. Beach House Imports is an amazing place to have your vehicle serviced. The level of customer service from start to finish is impeccable. I recently had my Allroad serviced by Beach House and they went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure that i was taken care of, and at a decent rate. The suspension service that I had done would have been double at Commonwealth Audi. The owner really went above and beyond to make sure that I am a customer for life. Do not hesitate to take your car to them, give it a try I don't think you will regret it. These guys also know what they are talking about, and try to make expensive car repairs a little less painful.

As an owner of numerous VW's and Audi's over the past 20 years I highly recommend Beach House Imports. Tim and his team have always been efficient and cost effective in repairs and servicing. I used BHI 10 yrs ago and they fixed my A7 without a problem. But recently I purchased a 2010 R8 and was so excited to play with it until it was delivered. After I spent 2 months and over 500 bucks on parts alone it still ran on 9 out of 10 cyl. Going into the 3rd month and developing a bad taste in my mouth when any one brought up the word Audi to me I remembered the guys at BHI and my appointment was set I dropped my car off at 8 am sharp and by 2 pm and 600 bucks later my R8 has been jamming around OC ever since. Tim and Kai have steadily fixed one thing at a time week after week until I m almost done with the first part of my R8 adventure. I can t thank you guys enough and would refer any and everyone to these gentlemen down on 19 st and I ll keep you posted on phase 2. KGServices: Electrical repair, Electrical

Took my audi to another shop when i knew beach house imports was the right place to take it, but didnt because of the distance. They had serviced it before and i was impressed from the start. But still I took it to the other shop and they had it for a week and had no idea what was wrong with it. They were charging me for it. I took my car out of that shop and now my car didn't start at all. I was so upset but it was my fault for not going to beach house imports. Had it towed to beach house imports and they knew what was wrong with it, day one! Got it repaired and the car runs great, and like the time before a good price. TY and the team killed it, thank you! Customer for life. Although its an hour drive for us, well worth it.

I've been taking my Audi A4 to Tim of Beach House Imports since probably around 2008, and he's always been somebody I know I can trust and does an outstanding job. You can tell he runs a tight operation and just is up front with what needs to be done to the car and always is happy to show you in person what needed to be fixed, he'll show you the parts he repaired, etc.But recently his service went above and beyond. My transmission had been slipping for the last couple years, and all of a sudden my car would start stalling when I came to a stop. I assumed the transmission was dead and was about to just donate the car. But I decided to call Tim just in case, and he told me it didn't sound like a transmission issue and encouraged me to bring it in. Then I remembered I had run over something on the freeway the day before and thought perhaps that had something to do with the issue. Long story short, Tim helped me work with the insurance adjuster to complete about $800 worth of damage and the insurance covered it all! Thanks Tim, if it wasn't for you I would've donated my car and been really stressed out trying to find another car and deal with a new payment. If you have an Audi, Tim and Beach House Import is your place don't bother checking anywhere else!

About a year ago, the MIL popped up on my A4. Having been disgusted with both the pricing and professionalism of my local Audi stealerships, I decided to spend a week researching independent mechanics in the Orange County area. After many hours reading reviews and recommendations from sources all over the Internet - including all of the major Audi user forums - I decided to stop by Beach House Imports. Tim and his crew have all exceeded my expectations; I finally have an independent shop I can trust. I have so far been back for a malfunctioning clutch position switch, an oil change, rear brake pads and fluid flush, and a breather valve replacement. Every time they have done only the work that was necessary at fantastic prices, and never tried to upsell me to an unnecessary replacement or upgrade like the dealers. Tomorrow I'll be going in for my 75,000-mile service...and have just discovered that Beach House Imports also does APR tuning! Stage 1 ECU reflash, here I come. I've already recommended them to family and friends (who are all also very satisfied), and I'll definitely be going back for all my future Audi maintenance and repair needs. Tim, you've made a customer for life out of me.

Businesses come and go, management and employees change, products and service offerings change that is the normal cycle of business in America, especially in highly populated areas like Southern California. So when you find a business that consistently performs at the highest level and you are greeted by the same smiling faces each time you visit, you take notice.I was referred to Beach House Imports in the late 90 s I think I was driving a late model Audi 100, one of several Audi s and Volkswagens I have had over the years. Tim Bunning and his crew have taken care of all my cars since. I still find it amazing, amongst all the change that is typical in this area, that the same guys greet me every time. There is no other business that I go to in my 20 years in Orange County where I can say the same. Beach House Imports reminds me of the small town mechanics in my home town in central Illinois where everyone knows each other and your mechanic has been your family mechanic for 20-30 years or more.I was able to attend the Customer Appreciation Party and unveiling of the updated facilities at Beach House Imports last fall. The improved and expanded shop is beautiful, masculine, spacious, environmentally friendly, and surprisingly a great place for a customer appreciation party. (The shop should really be rented out for events and parties!) It was at that event where I was able to chat with other longtime customers, and learn more about some of the work Beach House Imports has been doing for other customers. What I learned sort of made my mouth water They are not only repairing and servicing Audi s and Volkswagen s, they are taking new high performance Audi s and making them even better! They had just taken an Audi TTS and upped the performance to give it enough G s to literally make that smile on your face permanent, but perhaps making your look a bit like the Joker for all of eternity.It is that sort of rush and enthusiasm that makes guys like me buy Audi s and VW s in the first place. And it is that same passion that is shared by Tim and his crew.When you visit the facility you will be amazed by the cleanliness, the personnel and friendly environment. It is easy to see that Tim puts thought into everything he does. And with my 15+ years of experience as a customer, I can tell you that that is true and has been consistent the entire time.This week Tim and his crew are bringing new life to my aging VW GTI VR6. They have extended the life of my GTI several times now. I can still drive it hard and not worry. Beach House has my back.As I look towards my next new car purchase (maybe an S5?), you can bet that it will be an Audi and it will be serviced by Beach House Imports in Costa Mesa. Lucky for me they are right down the street. Every time I drive by I look in and smile, knowing that in there, is a team of guys that really like what they do, are passionate about Audi s and Volkswagen s, and that will never change.

Ty and the rest of the staff at Beach House are great. Communicative, transparent (they even showed me the broken/worn parts they took off) and their pricing is fair. If you have an Audi out of warranty, don t bother going anywhere else but here.
