This HONDA dealership is a bunch of LIARS and SCAM ARTISTS! This Honda dealership is an absolute horror show! First, they played mind games during a lease attempt, pretending I failed credit and jacking up my payments. Headed to Westminster Honda, got approved smoothly with way lower costs.Then, I dropped a whopping $695 for Honda Care, promised tire rotations, and tire care.. but surprise, surprise they say it only covered oil changes! Spent an eternity arguing, and they flat-out refused to fix my tire. Round two, same garbage, and now they're claiming a nail was too close to the inside, demanding I cough up hundreds for a new tire. Took a pic of the nail, they showed me some fabricated image pure deception!Did they really just show me a fake image???I go to my lease and look it up and it states it covers oil changes, tire rotation, and tire care for nails and what not.Went to a different tire joint, fixed it for a measly $25 in under 20 minutes! They showed me the nail which was NOT CLOSE to the center, and easily fixed. I wasted countless hours battling for a service I already paid for! Steer clear of this nightmare! They're deceitful scam artists, compulsive liars, and will conjure up fake images to dodge their responsibilities. Save your sanity and money this place is an absolute abomination!

It was my first time buying a car at a dealership. My experience at this location was smooth and simple. The salesman, Abner, is a very cool person who is straight to the point and doesn t put any pressure on you. He is the type of person that would want to make your experience as easy and comfortable as possible. The finance guy was also easygoing as well. Overall, my experience was great!

I received excellent customer service and technical service while scheduling a re-call appointment at Honda Costa Mesa. They had sent a mail out notice that their dealership was scheduling appointments and also offered a $15 dollar gift card if you scheduled an appointment on their 2 offered days. Scheduling was simple. I arrived early and my car was taken in for service. The re-call check/repair was done and completed within an hour where I waited in a comfortable customer lounge. I recommend this dealership and I will return for service in the future.

I took my car in to have it serviced over the weekend. The customer service was outstanding. I was kept informed of the recommended work throughout the day. I even got a video from the technician to show me the wear on my tires. They did an excellent job. I will always take my CR-V to AutoNation Honda for service. Thank you!

Buying a brand new car can be challenging but don't worry if you have questions and concerns. The sales team at AutoNation Costa Mesa will take care of you. Abner and Paul answered all my questions, and worked hard to make it possible for me to get a new car. I'll highly recommend this place.

Very straight forward and no games. Offered the price via internet inquiry, price was the same at the dealership. Asked for no frills, no games and was happy to see deal was as expected. Finance guy was respectful and while he is also expected to sell more tried hard to find something that fit (we did eventually choose to select one of his offers so good for him).Overall, would recommend this dealership

Just wanted to drop a quick note about my experience with Edgar. The transaction was smooth as silk, and he even threw in fixing a rim for free, plus covered my battery. Can t beat that! Highly recommend giving this guy a shout if you re in the market. 5 stars, no doubt.

BEWARE!! BEWARE!! I don't recommend anyone to go here.SCAMMERS and they are bunch of liars and dishonest people. I recently trade-in my vehicle here and they did a mistake in the contract. I kept communicating asking them to correct it, initially they said it ll be taken care by their team and now they started telling the period is over. Manager Name: Paul Nguyen he never picks the call nor respond to my emails. Sales person name : Marcos.Beware of this folks.

Purchased a CPO 2023 Honda HR-V, specifically asked to make sure there was 2 keys for the car before I picked it up the next day because it was a 2 hour drive for me, came and picked it up the next day and was given a spare key in an envelope. When I got home I realized the spare key was not the right key to my car. Also learned that the correct key didn't work in the door lock because the door lock was broken. Contacted my sales rep who sold me the car Jhonathan. My sales rep said that there was a mix up with the keys and they gave me the wrong keys "because a lot of the newer Honda remote start keys look alike". ? Also sales rep told me I had to go and buy another key myself then submit the receipt to Autonation Honda for reimbursement because not all used cars come with a second key, but it was a CPO and Honda's CPO benefits include two keys, not to mention I specifically asked to make sure they had both keys before I picked up the car. Had to come back a THIRD time to get a key programmed for it and the door lock fixed. Very stressful and frustrating experience.

I took my civic in bc my a/c wasn t blowing cold air. Turns out there were a few leaks. It was ready several hours before the estimate which was nice. Kathy handled my case and was very communicative and available to answer my questions.I got my car certified pre owned less than a year ago, everything was covered under warranty which was amazing and my a/c works now!:)

I purchased a CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring in a color that was really hard to find. Had a 10/10 experience working with Naz to reach a fair out-the-door price. There were no gimmicks or fine print and left with a great deal. Would recommend.

Do not purchase car from Auto Nation, go to LA Honda World !During the process of looking for a new car at Auto Nation Honda , the salesperson was helpful throughout our journey for a new Honda Pilot. However, when it came to Costco Auto Program pricing (Auto Nation Honda was the dealership assigned to us by Costco), they played games on the pricing and increased the costs for the Honda Pilot $2k over the Costco auto Program deal. I found this out when I went to LA Honda in Downey, CA which gave us the Costco pricing with no hassle and the best price per the Costco Auto Program. Auto Nation Costa Mesa refused to honor the Costco pricing, so we left.While we were waiting for right Honda Pilot from LA Honda in Downey, CA to arrive. Auto Nation Honda in Costa Mesa sales manager texted me and stated that would match the Costco Pricing. So, we called them back and told them we would be paying cash and we will be there tomorrow. We also asked them if they needed anything to make the transaction faster- Deposit, ID, or insurance card. They stated they didn t need a deposit, just an ID and Insurance card to make the transaction faster.The next day the sales manager and Finance associate Todd were not ready for us, they played games by stating they needed to hold our check, paperwork was incomplete/wrong info ( even though we gave them everything the day before), and that we needed to fill out a credit application even though we were playing cash. We asked for the manager 3 times, however only the sale associate would help us ( we could see the GM Chet in his office playing with his phone) . At the same time, Todd in finance wasn t ready with the paperwork or the paper work was incomplete, he had to redo it a few times ( printer didn t work) . We gave the dealership all of the info the day before to avoid this headache. However, the dealership wasn t organized, and we spent 3 hours at the dealership to leave without a new Honda Pilot and now we wait for check to clear before they will deliver the car. The dealership didn t even try to call the bank to confirm funds, which has never happened at our dealerships before when I have paid cash or wrote a check for a new car. The check cleared Auto Nations bank the next morning at 10am, however I had to keep on Calling Chet the GM for an update and he stated for next 48 hours the check didn t clear. Then on the 3rd day, I called again and left a message with Chet and he had his sales manger call me back to schedule the delivery of the car. I would never go back to Auto Nation Honda for service or for another Honda car purchase.At the end of day, we should have gone with LA Honda World and waited for the right car. I purchase a lot of cars for myself and family, however this had to be one of the worst new car transactions I have experienced.

It was good, after a long time I got a chance to visit auto nation service center, but I felt that inspection of the car was not thorough, looks like a brief check on top and just guess work, but I am glad that technician picked up a new issue, which i will address on my next service, if Auto nation can provide some discount on service, I would be glad to schedule. Thanks for organizing the event and your time - Auto Nation.

We just bought a 2024 Honda Pilot Elite and our salesman, Hamzeh Alam was wonderful! We stopped by on our way toan Acura dealer. I had not looked at a pilot and wanted something that reminded me and was roomy like an Odyssey. He recommended the pilot, he showed me 2 and I new it was my car. He made sure to keep us comfortable while we waited for fiance. He really cared about us. The dreaded new car buying was not so bad. Thank you Hamzeh!!

We drove 40 miles because the online price was cheaper than I had been seeing. I got a text from them saying that was their price indeed so for us to drive out there. I was shopping for an elite around that price range and drove out with a black edition. Very happy I got my suv from them. I was shopping around for about 3 months for a 2023 and got a 2024 for a better price. Thank you Fouad, Hieu and Austin for helping me.

Hamzeh was my original lead, he was not there when I showed up on time and didn t show up until an hour later. The woman (i forget her name, she was Persian) that was there helped me and was great! Very nice and not pushy. Philip Nguyen was great as well, very professional.

Appointment went as scheduled. Staff was great and took very good care of my Honda. A very minor issue, if you going to provide coffee to those us us who choose to wait, how about quality coffee that matches the service you provide.

Christian Tudosa was the 5th agent I talked to about the 2024 CRV Hybrid Sport Touring from five different Honda dealerships in SoCal. By far, he's the only professional and ethical. Honda Costa Mesa must be proud to have him. My experiences from the first four dealerships was unfair and unacceptable. They told me that they have what I was looking for but when I got there, they thought they are super smart to trick me into buying what they have, because they didn't have what I wanted and wasted my time. I asked Christian if he can send me pictures of the unit and he did. I bought the same unit within an hour of my visit to AutoNation Honda Costa Mesa. I didn't even mind the add-ons they put in the car, I thought Christian deserves all the commission he will get. Thanks Christian!

In most cases, I d rather go to the dentist than purchase a vehicle from a car dealership. It s rare that a car buying experience is simple and hassle/haggle free, but such was mine at Autonation Honda. The price listed online was the price I paid for the vehicle, without any hidden dealer add-ons. Obviously, they offer you the extras, but they re all optional, of course. Completely satisfied with my experience from start to finish, and would certainly purchase from them again.

I always bring my '19 Civic here for its scheduled maintenance per the email service reminder, prior recommendations & see my service consultant Kathy...after performing the walkaround inspection, we head back to her desk & go over the scheduled services to be performed & she calls me if there are any additional work that my vehicle MAY need...on this occasion I had my oil changed, tires replaced & an alignment performed...no additional services recommended as I had it completed on my last visit...I never have to worry about being "upsold" with Kathy & the personnel throughout this dealership are friendly & professional...I highly recommend Kathy & Autonation Honda of Costa Mesa for your Honda's service needs...

Have to agree with the low reviews. Had high hopes as they are rated super high. Started negotiating online with a certain individual and out of nowhere, another "sales manager" Hieu began emailing me insisting I go in. I've purchased 2 prior Hondas negotiating via email and this guy insisted I go in. Never cared about anything that was spoken before his engagement. I finally asked for a quote and he asked for $50k for a honda crv. Good for you, man. Someone will say yes but not this guy. That old bait and switch tactic.

I keep coming back to autonation honda. Not only a place that is trying to just sell you a car but does everything they can to provide for the customer on the purchase. no feeling of pressure to even make a purchase but a place where they will also educate anyone on a purchase. very friendly and welcoming everytime. Omar has helped me tremendously on my last purchase along with Tabby to ensure i was able to be a satisfired customer. will return in the future for my kids cars

They refused to honor an AutoNation warranty plan and an AutoNation maintenance plan that was sold at another AutoNation location, even though both the other AutoNation location and AutoNation's national service center told me that all AutoNation locations would honor both the warranty plan and the maintenance plan. Service Advisor sounded rude, hostile, and aggressive to me from the start, even before I started speaking.

The service department associate was very friendly and made sure all my concerns were taken care. In addition to that he went above and beyond and did a follow-up phone call the next day to make sure there were no further issues. This the best service from a dealership I have ever received.
