AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!9 days ago I brought a set of Ohlins shocks here to service. I drove there (one hour away from where I live) because I wanted to avoid any delay in shipping. The person at the entrance/reception did not have any clue of costs and turnaround time. He stated that his job is only to make sure the service department gets the shocks and I would have had to call the service department for any answer. After a couple of days of trying - multiple times per day - they answered the phone and said they were going to send me an email with price and eta turnaround time. After a week, still no email... In the meanwhile, I have emailed them multiple times, left many voicemail and text messages. It is impossible to get a hold of them! These are the shocks of my daily rider. I ride to work with it. I need my shocks back ASAP. At this point I do not care if they haven't looked at them yet. I want them back so I can bring them to a more serious shop. I have not been able to take a couple of hour off work to go get them myself. Hopefully I can do it early next week. I am concerned though that the person at the reception won't be able to get them for me. I cannot waste any more time chasing them and I just want back what's mine! To be continued...Update: after additional two days of calling, someone FINALLY answered the phone and I requested to have my shocks mailed back to me immediately. They have not been serviced, so this was overall an incredible waste of time, and I had to pay for shipping, which I think it's unfair, but whatever... I just want to be done with this place. I received an email from UPS showing that the package is on its way.

It's a little complicated to get ahold of, but don't give up. It's worth the effort. Did the gold valve in my rear shock in my 23 Ktm 300 now it's better then my race bike was years ago.

The first time I walked in. I told them what I wanted and what I was working with, and the treated me like I was a supercross rider getting ready for Anaheim. The place is huge, and me being a nobody really caught me off guard. I almost felt like I was imposing. They really spent a lot of time making sure I got what I needed. This place is highly recommended by me.

Probably the best customer service I've ever experienced! I bought their gold valves and have called a couple of times for their advice. They call back if I leave a message and are knowledgeable in the setup of their products. I will definitely go through them for my future suspension needs!

Got the fork springs and shock spring. Look good quality. Sadly i think customer service in the USA & UK is dead.. Racing and bikes & parts are becoming increasingly expensive. I did not find the lady i spoke to in regards to international sales helpful. The workshop tech i spoke to was quite up beat and helpful. Slightly annoyed i was not informed i would have to "shave down" my fork guides in order to use the springs supplied. If i had known this i probably would not have ordered.I doubt i shall use again due to the way i was dealt with during the sales proccess and when i rang to ask for help. Remmeber race tech that you are only around because people use you. Make it feel like your doing them a favour and that will change rather quickly...

Ordered a pair of TNK fork tubes and called after a week with no shipping information/tracking info. The guy I talked to on the phone said he'd check and see what was up with my order and call me back. A week later still no call or email so I called back and was told I would not get them until March or April. The reason being they don't keep them in stocks save yourself the time and order directly from TNK they'll get to you faster

My gold valve emulator came out of the box with a loose spring inside. Took it in and within 15 minutes they had the problem fixed.

Had them adjust my suspension for $20. They came recommended from some biker friends and my local bike mechanic (who could have charged me a fortune to work on it). They did adjust it but recommended that I have certain work done for the best results. Keep in mind that most other shops will try to charge you $75 - $100 just to look at your bike (no adjustments made) and tell you what needs to be done yet these guys just basically adjusted it and told me what improvements I could make for $20. Don't get what other folks are complaining about, this is a steal! Not only that but my bike felt way better than it did when I brought it in and frankly I don't know of any shop that provides this service at this price. However, this place is a top suspension shop and that is what they specialize in. I got this vibe just walking and looking around the shop while waiting for someone to help me. They are very busy and they sell top of the line products (which I really don't personally need). But they won't try to upsell you like most places and typically have no problem sending you elsewhere to do basic suspension work...this makes sense because if they did that same work you would be paying a lot more money. I personally respect that as this type of honesty and integrity is rare in this industry and is well worth the wait. Also in my experience this is the type of shop where you want to just show up. No calls or emails. They are busy so you may have to wait a bit (like any other good shop worth it's salt) but they will typically help you...just stay around and be visible. At least that's what worked for me.

Race Tech was great. The initial set up was a little soft for me. I called and spoke with them. They had me bring it in and they got it perfect. This is on my 2019 KTM 350 EXC-F. Previously they setup my 2004 KTM 300EXC.

The service is five stars but I have been waiting over a month for my forks, really, a month? This rating is for timeliness, not what they do once the get to you. If you want a quick turnaround don't expect it here.

Good products and a good database - and that's what they receive the two stars for.Customer support, back office etc is a nightmare and hardly can be any worse.I've done a couple of purchases until now and not a single one was handled correctly. And as a customer your are left alone then. Nobody cares, emails didn't get answered etc etc.My personal result out of this::Even if their products would be gold plated and for free - never ever again. Enough is enough.

Fast shipping and excellent tech department. The product and instructions are well thought out and high quality. My suspension is better than I thought possible. It just flat out works. Their R&D work saved me dozens of hours of trial and error. I doubt I could ever have come close on my own. Thank you RT! I would highly recommend this product and company.

I was told good things about this place so I called to get a quote. I was put on hold but had to get back to work so I sent an email through the website to sales. 2 weeks later, still no reply. I call again and leave a message. A week later and still no call. I call yet again and get transferred to sales. I was put on hold for 15 freaking minutes with not a single person coming on the line to say that they would be with me shortly or anything. So far, I am very disappointed with the customer service or the lack thereof. Do I still give them a shot to sell me a suspension? ugh!!

Fantastic products AND services - well worth the wait! I've dealt with Race Tech for years and have yet to be let down by anything other than my own impatience. Yes, they do great work - which means that they have a huge workload. Rather than complain about the wait time or trying to rush them, I use the time they have my suspension to make other tweaks and work on other parts of my bike.If a shop has time to tear into your job the minute it hits the door, that means they have nothing else to do - do you really want them working on your bike??And don't forget to schedule based on the race seasons - they support a LOT of racers and teams too.

Brought my bike to get my suspension tuned. The guy tinkered around adjusting the screws. All I wanted is a better ride for the street. After a while he says that my suspension is too stiff since I have a after market rear shock and he did the best he can. The only way to make it more comfortable for street is to revalve my suspension or something. This took way less than 10 minutes of "labor." So my suspension is still the same and I was thinking I didn't have to pay the fee. I was wrong, I had to go inside and pay the $20 bucks for someone to tell me they can't set my suspension without more work needed. They also don't answer any e-mails, so don't bother. If you go to the office, their customer service needs work. In my experience 3 people passed by me and none said hello or how are you doing? blah. I wish they had Yelp so I can post this there. I wonder why they don't?

It's a case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing over there. There seems to be no communication at best.I hope my forks are the wait and money.....so far, thumbs down....Well,,, 3 complete weeks later of not having my work/commute bike due to race tech having my forks, I drove to their shop after speaking to a very nice young lady who said maybe another 2 weeks....I walked in and verified right hand had no idea what left side is doing...Girl at desk charges me 700 bucks while a nice gentleman goes to get my forks. He returns and tells me that they're not ready and if somebody had had told me they were done.I said ,,,,I know they're not done, that's why I'm here, please go get my forks and I'll be out...he did so and apologized....I'm guessing work is great there but did me no good at all. I got the forks rebuilt without the gold valve and new spring I originally wanted just to get my bike up and running again..... thanks for storing my forks Race Tech......

Terrible customer service, plain and simple. Race Tech has had a good reputation in the industry for a while, but their actual customer service is showing itself to be embarrassingly poor! I am currently sitting in their waiting room, and have been here for well over 4.5 hours now for a very simple shock rebuild. Not a difficult or time consuming process. I showed up promptly, per my appointment, at 8am, handed over the shock to the service tech, and expected to be on my way within an hour or so to do some riding. After 4 hours of waiting, I go to their service desk and ask what the problem is, and I find out that the tech IS AT LUNCH!!! And they said it would be at least another hour, if not more. (Race Tech, fyi, this is totally unacceptable for a business to do to a customer. Tech works until the waiting customer's job is done before leaving. Always.)Honestly, I should've just shipped the shock to Traxxion Dynamics. At least I know they'll take care of me. Bad for all of us in the motorcycle business.

I'm not sure if they out off business or they just don't know how to run a business and reply to email inquirys and phone calls and voice mails. I tried to reach them unsuccessfully, never got return call or email. They really need to work on they customer service skills or maybe actually have customer service. Abvoiusly they don't need new customers at this time. I would be fourius if I actually need help with product I already purchased or I would've warranty issues. I'll be own my own.

Do your self a favor stay away from this place I had a terrible experience and a expensive lesson. I'm a track experienced rider when it comes to suspension I know what I want and works for me. I took my suspension to them to get it revalved and resprung for my weight so I told them what I wanted they told me it was going to cost me $1500 I told them go ahead an do it. To my surprise when I went back to pick it up they end up doing something completly different fron what I had requested. They lower the rear shock and they put the wrong spring rate for my weight and the spring diameter it was way off it look like it did not belong or fit my shock look like it was for a different bike and they did no change the oil and dust seals I told them this is not what I requested so they told me we'll put it back to stock and charge you for $520 labor instead of fix it and do what had requested in the first place I was very disappointed so I just told them to put it back to stock this was a $520 learning experience. When I picked it up the the manager told me from now on take your business elsewhere she must be out her mind if she thinks I'm doing business with them again I Will be telling my track buddies to not take their suspension here. if I Had I ridden my bike the way they had left it I could have gotten seriously hurt. If you value your life! Save your money dont come here!

I purchased one of their valve kits and springs, quality was good and all installed good, instruction were good. Setup is supposed to be enduro, however it's stiff like a MX or SX bike deflecting on every little rock and root. Now I've been trying to get a hold of someone to help with a new shim stack and have sat on hold 6 different times for 15-20 minutes. I did talk to one guy that tried to help, but he needed to get with the boss and call back... that never happened! Now I'm sitting on hold writing this because i'll never do business, or recommend this company to anyone... Their parts are good, but useless without rider support...

I wanted to give it 4 stars.. but c'mon man! You had my forks for a month! I was told a few weeks?? They ended up blaming the outfit that does their anodizing.. took me 4 phone calls to get this resolved and get them back.

Sent an email inquiring on some suspension parts for my motorcycle. 9 days later, haven't received a reply. Must be allergic to money or something. They won't receive any of my business, if they can't reply to simple emails, probably can't get anything else right either. I found my parts from another business.

This place used to be good but now anymore.I was sent the wrong part and now they are useless at helping me. Say that someone will call me back and it never happens. I have called them about 30 times and no one has ever helped me resolve my issue. TERRIBLE!!
