I took my vehicle to do a basic oil change awhile back at Kim s Auto repair and when it came to dont he next one, I figured I do it myself this time.. so while doing the job, it turned it the car only had about 3 quarts or maybe less of oil when it s supposed to have 5 quarts. That was the first thing, also found out he didn t replace the oil filter gaskets.. luckily nothing ever happened.. but I would not ever take my car to him again

Supposedly put in new engine . This guy took advantage of my mom who wanted my dads truck fixed . He charged her 6000 the car still doesn t work. We told him and he acts like he doesn t no English. So we lost 6000. Do not come here!!!

Worst place to come to for a smog check. I came by today to get my Jeep smog, everything works on it perfectly fine it has no check engine light on he passed all the test perfectly fine. Before the mechanic submitted the results he noticed that my manifold look different and he said that those were some high performance headers LOL the only thing different from that manifold is that I painted it blue. All the parts on my jeep are original. So he decided to not pass smog check because obviously he does not know about jeep parts. He still made me pay for the smog and the worst part is that after I wasted all my time there because he took more than an hour doing a normal smog now I have to wait at least seven days to go to another smog place to do a smog on my jeep in past normally. Never take your car to this place to get it smog they want your money they want you to come back and spend more.

Dont judge Kim too quickly.... youll be surprised how someone ends up trusting you before u trusting them. Kim has a lot on his plate. Hes a good guy. Hes honest and fare. Hes my new mechanic now. Id like to say if never go back, but vehicles have problens too, sometime or another. When that time comes, (hopefully not for a long while lol ) ill be there!

I normally dont post reviews but I gotta say something about this shop. How the hell did this mechanic get 4 stars? The owner always has a bad attitude, is shady and dishonest and never checks what i ask him to check. I come here for oil changes because its convenient but the last time I went he wanted to overcharge me $10 more. I refused to pay and said if i would have known i'd gone somewhere else. Then he tells me i need a radiator cap and wanted to charge me $50.. That seemed wayyy too much. I said no. And he got really mad. Last time I ever go there.

Worst customer service. Owner is racist if you're not Asian. And before I start, I've used them once before and didn't like them but I needed to get my truck smogged today.My truck has never failed a smog test. Dropped my truck off at 8am when they opened for just a smog check, he said it would be done by 1 and he would call me when it was done. Well he never called so I showed up at 4pm and he still didn't smog it, he said my aftermarket intake and exhausted stickers didn't match up(which they do) so he could not smog it. I literally showed him on the arb(air resource board) website where it says my intake and exhaust are legal and he still refused to smog it. Never using Kim's again, he just doesn't care.

This is ridiculous! My dad has been going to Kim s with ALL of our cars for longer than any of us can remember. This is the first time that my husband brought our car and Kim-said it was going to be $360 for repairs-took the part out-told us it would be ready Wednesday-we called and he yelled at my husband that the car would be ready Friday-we called Friday the car was still not ready and they no longer make that part -we found the part at Autozone for $24.97-told him we would buy the part and bring it-he told us no that he d get the part-Saturday we asked if he was able to order it. He said the part he got had the wrong end-Sunday checked again he insisted that the part was no longer available-Monday Autozone not only had the part it would be here Wednesday-Kim said it was still going to be $360 even though we had to find and buy the part-told us to pick up the car and bring it back AFTER we get the part-charged us $150 and after we bring it back tomorrow he wants $360 to fix our carSeriously? So unprofessional, horrible customer service UNLESS you are a regular that he remembers, rude, condescending, inconsiderate person who we will never do service with again! Save your money

This is the WORST and most DISHONEST mechanic I have ever encountered. We went in to fix my AIR CONDITIONER in my car and he kept my car for 4 days without calling me, I had to call him every day. Not once did he mention any issues about my car until the day I picked it up, my starter was completely out! My starter NEVER has an issue until he touched my car! He refused to fix the problem and REFUSED TO ADMIT HE CAUSED THE DAMAGE! We all know a starter goes out and its a duration until its completely gone and it was COMPLETELY GONE! WORST MECHANIC EVER AND IS BEING REPORTED TO THE BBB!!!! DONT GO TO HIM! HE LIES AND IS DISHONEST AND RIPS OFF HIS CUSTOMERS!!!

This place is a joke!I sent a client with 3 cars for smog check. On the phone this shop agreed to a fee for the 3 cars but when my client arrived, these unprofessional people charged extra for the service. Not good business and all should avoid this place.

Went in because of a busted hose. Found out my timing belt was about to go and my counterpoint Balance belt had already snapped. Fixed it with the lowest price in tow. Good service and fast work.

Broke my a arm then charged me 1500 to fix it then broke my fender and refused to admit they did anything wrong and there's a lot more to this story but he's rude and lier and can't troubleshoot anything crook stay awayService: Out-of-stateService: Out-of-state
