They are a state certified site so if you feel you can't pass smog, then that's not the place to go. I gave 5 stars for their service, the guy was nice but it's a by the book shop.

Great small smog shock. Avoid the crowds and get the cars smog on Sunday.Parking is easy on Sundays since all the repair shops in the strip mall are closed.Small waiting room with 6 chairs. Arturo and Irene are both friendly.

Came in for a smog check using a coupon I found online. They did not honor the coupon ($31.75 + $8.25 cert) because I have a Mid-sized SUV, but offered me a price of $50. The price list inside the business shows $51.75 + certificate for ALL vehicles (cars, trucks, vans & pickups - no mention of SUVs), so $50 (including certif) is not bad. At least they had an air conditioned waiting area with a TV, and the technician was very friendly.

Beware of Unethical Business Practices at Circle City Smog Check I recently had a rather unpleasant experience at Circle City Smog Check on 9/14/23. I was expecting a routine smog check at the standard rate of $40, but things took an unexpected turn.Before the test even began, the smog tester, Manuel Valencia, noticed that my "Check Engine Light" was on. Instead of advising me that this would likely result in a failure and suggesting that I address the issue before the test, he went ahead with it anyway. After the test, Manuel informed me that my vehicle had indeed failed and charged me $30 for the service. He then told me I had just 15 days to fix the problem and return for a retest, which would cost me another $30. This felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, and I was left deeply unsatisfied. What's more concerning is that other reviews have mentioned similar issues, including pricing discrepancies and coupon games. It's disappointing to see a business prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and ethical practices.I hope Circle City Smog Check takes these concerns seriously and works on improving its business ethics and transparency. Just had all sensors replaced and ALL codes cleared by repairs and or replacements. Went here and within 3 minutes it failed due to a p143 code and cost me $50. When I mentioned all sensors have been replaced and codes cleared, his response was " Not my problem" Took it right back to Mechanic and zero codes on 2 separate machines. Noted the shop I took it to and they also said people have been charged for failures. Went to another place and Wow, no problem or codes..Don't go here unless you want to dump $50 for nothing.

The employee was nice but the price isn't! It costs $60 for an SUV, I had a smog check done for $25 at place close by that unfortunately closed.

Ad price is $31.75 says on ad "No Rip Offs" called for a price on my 2005 Ford F150 was told it would be $10 more. So, I asked besides plugging in to my truck the same as a car and doing a visual inspection the same as a car why the extra charge? I was told it was bigger so a bigger price even if it did not require No Extra Work. Sounds like a "Rip Off" to me.

The guy working on the weekend was very nice! He did 2 vehicles including my C class motorhome. He put me ahead of an older vehicle that was going to take longer to do after he asked the customer first. My honda only tooka few minutes. After he finished I drove home to get my motor home. He even stayed open a bit longer on a weekend to finish. Recomend this place and will bring my vehicles here again! Thanks my friend I appreciate your good service.

Very fast service and friendly staff. I had to jump start my truck to get there and it didn t pass because of that. But I came back a few days later and it passed no problem. They gave me good advice and they only charge the government fees the next time around. The new owner is very friendly.

Went there to get smog test for my Envoy. Chris is very nice , pleasant, professional and honest guy. Test was done fast and no waiting , No hidden fees or any other gimmicks . Bait and switch advertising... I had a coupon, but when you get there they raised the price an extra $10. The smog check took 10 minutes and they charged $60....

SCAM, I CALLED IN, ASKED FOR PRICE, EMPLOYER SAID "40" WALKED IN CHARGED ME 60, I WALKED OUT, HE SAID I'LL DO IT FOR 40, FAILED ME CHARGED ME 30, 30 EXTRA FOR RETEST. SHADY AVOID THIS SMOG CHECK

Didn't let him do smog. I called and got price for smog on a rv. He told me 75 but would do for 60. Great on my way. When got there. He was not there. I called him. Told ne had to run a earn and be right back. I said I would wait. As I was waiting another customer came in. When guy returned he started to take the other customer. Asked him uf he Going to do that vehicle first. He started to lie to me saying did not know was a motorhome. He did know he gave me the rv price. Then he told me it is easier to do the car. I responded that not fair I was here first. I will not give my money to a bussiness that does not treat customers fair. So now going to pay some one with integrity. Will never recommend this place. He did not care when I said going somewhere else or that was leaving review

I have a well kept vehicle that has no engine codes and is test ready. Circle city smog tested my vehicle and it passed the emission and visual test no problem. But was failed due to there machine not being able to connect to my vehicle pcm. I have 2 obd2 readers and can connect to the vehicle pcm . I asked circle city if it was possible there machines software was out of date or faulty. Circle city assured me it was ok .Circle city smog charged me 60 dollars for the failed test and advised me that a retest would be 30 more dollars.I then took my to another local smog shop and passed 30 minutes later. I feel this business is praying/taking advantage of people knowing smog test are a state mandate and know people have to have a smog to drive on the roads today. Very upset with circle city smog. I have explained my evidence of there faulty machine and was told to come when the manager is there. Sundays only bad customer service . Bad business Practices. Stay away they will make sure your back there for a retest to take more of your money.Services: Smog certification, Emissions testing

Buyer beware! My car has never failed aSmog check and it failed at this location. My car only has 39K miles and runs great-no check engine light on. I regularly take my car to the dealer for service too.Service: Smog certificationService: Smog certification
