Restroom was huge and so clean. We set up right on the riverbank. Watched blue herons and other fishermen for hours. Incredibly easy to go hiking @ Black Butte Lake and the Upper Bidwell Park. Staff was amazing! Loaning tools, helping figure out the laundry, and providing free lemons and oranges from their trees. December may be a slower time, but it was the best time for us! Definitely coming back!

This is the kind of place where the site you get makes a huge difference. Ours, 5, was riverside and huge, some are tiny enough to deserve 2 stars. We actually ended up here by accident, for the first time ever someone was in our site when we got there! Said he's a friend of the owners and decided to stay for free for another day, and no one told the office But man, those sunsets! And otters!Amazingly friendly staff who even delivered our Amazon order to our site , quiet park, and friendly residents. Lots of older, permanent rigs, some in need of repair right at the entrance kill the curb appeal. Some trees need to be pruned, tight access roads. 30amp FHU that was fair but did trip occasionally. Good water pressure. Great Verizon and Starlink coverage.

I've been here a few nights and am very impressed with all the upgrades and cleanliness. My uncle stayed here quite a few years back, and it was trash. I'm really enjoying my stay so far

Loved the experience! We rented a river front RV space for a few weeks. Quiet, lots of large shade trees, and a few fish, too! Easy access to the boat ramp, clean restrooms and a well maintained, scenic park.

Edit: Despite the reply, nobody ever reached out. Seems they are just in the facade of acting like they care.Had a trip booked in California from thousands of miles away. As it so happened, there was an extreme heat warning (100+ F weather) during our stay. Staff agreed it would not be safe for us to stay at the park. Despite also admitting they had wide-open availability, they still refused to provide any form of refund.Would have expected some form of goodwill given the circumstances.

This place is amazing. We are Camp Fire survivors and they took us in and have done their upmost to help all of us. They went as far as setting up a donation center (closed now) and even feeding us for a quite some time. On Christmas they gathered us for a lovely Christmas dinner and provided full stockings for the children. The park itself is wonderful. Good river access is within walking distance and nothing can beat the view from our space. We even have a family of river otters who swim and play just down the embankment from our spot!

Gorgeous park. Has a playground for the kids and is right by the Sacramento river. Very peaceful and a great place to stop by. although there were only two restrooms and water fountains were not functioning.

I'm here Goin on 3 months now and have been harassed since day 1 moving in! I'm here because my 18 year relationship ended and I'm trying to put my life back together! I've addressed the harassment to the office manager a couple times and nothing is done because it is mostly from the park employees! Next I'm contacting the owner and I'm filing a civil harassment restraining order against the the park owner and his employees today! I'm giving my 30 day notice I have no where to go, but anywhere is better than here! Ninja

Very friendly staff. Beautiful setting, there is a park on one side and walking trails on the other. Trailer spots back right onto the river. The manager was super accommodating and walked us through sites to see which one would work for us as we have a very large 5th wheel. When we had to leave unexpectedly for work she went above and beyond and forwarded a package that arrived after we left. Also very reasonable on price. Would definitely reccomend and will stay here again if we are ever in the area.

I'm an RV service technician. I went to the park to work on someone's camper. However, I did notice that the park was in beautiful condition, with awesome views of the River. Easy to get to, just three miles off highway 99 10 miles north of Chico.

Great place to spend time we love being there about 3 years when we first got there the owners were very good to us they helped us out a lot by giving us a home to live in when we had nothing we were living in a tent when we first got there. And when the new owners came in they were very good people to us too I love working for them I miss living there I consider that my home. Now I'm not even allowed go on the property anymore I miss visiting my friends and my family that I called friends there it's very unfortunate. I wish that would change. I loved all my neighbors and I always kept an eye on things from getting stolen in the Park all in all it is a great Park in all in all and I wish Richard and Liz the best

Told never to come back with vehicle that was unregistered or the police would be called after going there for over 3 years and 2 of them in the same vehicle with same status. I explained that it wasn't my vehicle but he had a picture of the license plate...saving it to call police to tow vehicle and fine me...it was rude and unnecessary.

Just needed a midway overnight stop from Reno to Fortuna. This is a private RV park. It is on the Sacramento river, many sites on shore. Lots of fisherman staying, plus many sites are set up for all summer or all year stays. Lots of shade and most sites have full hookups. Small store on site and good restaurants and food stores in nearby Corning. Clean and well maintained. Will stay again. Just read it is under new management, hope it stays well run and they don't jack up the rates.

Tent camping sites are in the community area with no privacy or boundaries. Bright lights are on all night long in the camping area. Big rig pulled in at 1130pm. No fire pit, no picnic table in the camping sites. Our view consisted of the dumpsters. 95% of the people there are permanent tenants. So it's more like a trailer park. We asked to move to a vacant sight by the river and were told those were for RV's and trailers. Needless to say we packed up and left. We will never come back.To respond to your response: then you should not advertise them as tent camping spots.

After having a nightmare of a time and being evacuated from the campground in Oroville Because we had to relocate, we decided to try down by the river as a hwy patrol officer had suggested. After talking to some fishermen we were told lots of people camp for a night or two on the right side of the bridge. (Past the boat launch) we were so relieved because we hadn't slept in what felt like days. There was an elderly cantankerous man who immediately did not want to allow us to have even the slightest reprieve from the nightmare we had been through. We told him our situation and he was less than inviting telling us that he could not "allow us or not allow us" to camp down by the river. But then made several contradictory statements saying that We would need to be up and gone by 5:00 a.m.. However the night just dragged on we pitched our tent down off the boat ramp parking lot area. He had originally tried to tell us that we weren't allowed to use a tent we could lay out some blankets under the oak trees during a wind storm... We passed on that in favor of the tent anyway which he said we could or could not pitch down in some foliage by the river. It took 4 hours to put up our tent much to our distress. By the time we finally got inside to lay down it was 1:00 in the morning. But things went down hill from there. Several drunk people came flooring their vehicles down all the way to the water and then proceeded to try for several hours to get them unstuck calling several friends to help. There were a lot of noxious chain smoking jerks making it hard to breath. The wind had died down and the smoke filled our entire tent. They were throwing cigarettes all over the place lit!! By the time they left fisherman and boats started showing up and also getting stuck! By 5:00 a.m. I had finally found an hour of rest. The sun wasn't up yet and everything was pitch black when the cantankerous old man came and shined his light in our tent telling us to "get up and get going" I told him that We had anything but a good night's rest that we would be on our way shortly. After finally packing up our blankets and our tent. He came back around to take some trash (thank you) however it was during the day And I'm honestly not sure why we weren't allowed to just rest for a few more hours. Day camping is allowed and people are there all night long. I really don't understand why he was so upset that we needed a place to stay for the night. The 15,000 firefighters taking up every hotel room that's available and all of the campgrounds closed due to covid. We didn't have another option. It was really distressing and still is just stressing I'm exceptionally tired and yeah we're back on the road with 4 teens and three dogs trying to find yet another place to sleep for a few hours. At a time when California is literally burning down I think that he should have shown us far more compassion and understanding due to the circumstances.. also, The bathroom's desperately need water though especially during the covid crisis

I've lived here a number of times throughout the years and each time had a special experience. Although its under new ownership now, and I can tell they've been hard at work making much needed improvements, it's still retained its laid back riverside vibe that campers have enjoyed for so long. There's a nice community feel to it, since many people actually live here, rather than the more transient vacationer scene before the Campfire hit. I've found them to be very accommodating of my situation and vintage Avion RV, which many places would outright reject due to it's age (1973), so that's been hugely valuable to me when looking for a spot to stay for a while. Kind people, cool location, can't beat it!

They gave us a home when the campfire took ours. They took very good care of us, cooking food, collecting donations. Every holiday we were there they made a delicious meal and collect stockings made for our kids. I will be forever grateful to them. Plus this is a beautiful place to spend a summer afternoon!

This place is clean and I mean clean most RV parks have filthy bathrooms or grounds or something that isn't very appealing about it, I've stayed at a few, but this RV park is the cleanest and friendliest of people. I strongly recommend this place, it is quiet, you would think a RV park as large as this place it would be loud with activity but it is actually quiet even on the weekends when the park is full of families. This park has a rec room with pool table, large flat screen tv and I believe a kitchen for parties or gatherings. I highly recommend Woodson Bridge RV park.
