Stop by this place anytime you are on HWY 4 in Calaveras County. This place is just really really good.

The most random modern built "oasis" in the middle of alot of plain land. Was actually really cool and neat. Also there seemed to be a "Corvette" gathering that day in that area

We stopped here to charge the car and see this lovely small town. I love the atmosphere here. There was a small boutique here selling old stuff. I will be back if I have a chance.

On our way home from Angels Camp back to San Jose, we stopped at this restaurant. Food was great and great service. I ordered the Standard, my husband ordered the French toast and sausage. My dad ordered the Chicken Fried steak, sorry no pic on that dish, my dad ate to fast also, my aunt ordered the burrito. Great place, and recommended:)

They have some very tasty restaurants there with great service and there's a park in the middle where you can hang out and enjoy the stars and a fire pit.

Great place to go for a meal. Fantastic staff and the food is excellent. The town square itself is a shopping extasy. All types of stores with a great ambiance.

I was backpacking at crabtree trails, and on our way back we decided to drop by this little town square, food was amazing. Definitely coming back when I'm around the area.

Great place to get food, gas or do a little shopping before heading up the mountains. They have great restaurants and small stores for some quick gifts. Great layout of town square that reminds you from the movie Back to the Future.

Best place to gather for local concerts and events or meet friends for shopping, beauty services, wine-tasting or a delicious meal.

Very cute town square, reminiscent of the kinds you might have found at the turn of the 20th Century. A clock tower, a gazebo and four blocks of shops. Plus, a series of rock and roll tribute bands every October. Copperopolis is becoming a cool destination in the Foothills.

What an amazing town! Cute shops and restaurants, the new Gateway Hotel, a dog as Mayor, amazing golf, boating, vineyards close by, hiking, biking, Tesla charging station, historic gold country I am in love. Close to the Bay Area! Affordable new homes ..one of the best hidden gems anywhere!

This was our second visit, much the same as the first. Amazing, friendly people, the rooms are very nice and clean. Short walk with the dog to the restaurants nearby. This is a pet friendly environment.

I was in the Modesto area for over 40 years until a few months ago and never had as much fun as I did last night, (Halloween). The people are so beautiful up here. I hope I never have to move out of this area. The boys and I had so much fun, we did not want to leave. Penny Wise, perfect costume and perfect pic with my oldest. Not sure who the bear was supposed to represent but thank you for the dance with my boys, they loved it. A HUGE SHOUT OUT to the haunted house cashiers. I did not bring any cash or my ATM card. BAD grandma. They trusted me when I said I would bring them the admit fee on Tuesday when the school is open. No one anywhere in Modesto would have believed me or cared. They would have said "sorry, move on", but not these ladies. They let my boys in and I will be at the school tomorrow with me money in hand. Thank you ladies. Oh and I should not forget Michael Myers in the haunted house. My oldest is still talking about your dance with him in the middle of the haunted house. LOL....You all made me and the boys so happy. It is so nice to be a part of a REAL FAMILY oriented town.

The town square seems like the only "modern" development in the area. It's very cute in it's own way; they decorate the place nicely for all the holidays and frequently have events in the little town center. Great place to stop if you're on the way to the mountains and need a rest stop to refuel with some good eats and shop for some unique gifts.

It's a nice little town square and very photogenic. We have traveled through many times and it's always such a nice quaint spot to stop and relax for a bit. There's always a great breeze blowing through, not overloaded with people; the walkways are smooth and easy to navigate and they always keep it neat and tidy. Several small shops dot the area and it's fun to both window shop and check some of them out in person. Worth a visit for a nice quiet day away from areas like san francisco or sacramento, much quieter and slower paced.

It's just plain beautiful! New management and things are going to start happening! The Tipsy Frog is lovely, excellent selection of wines, owner is delightful, knowledgeable and super sweet and welcoming. Gift shop is coming along nicely as well. 18 hole golf course, complete with golf carts. Want to go back and try all the restaurants, coffee shop and ice cream stores!
